I normally just lurk here. I'm a traditional scrapbooker, using Photoshop Elements to imrove pictures only. However, I decided to give the digital scrapbooking thing a try. This could get adddicting.

I posted this in my gallery over at the Photoshop Elements Board at Adobe.

That is a GREAT job for a first page! :) Were you doing any collages or other projects before you did this, or were you just touching up photos? I kind of took that route to digiscrapping: I started with collages, which are not all that far removed from digital scrapbook work, anyway. I love the use of layered color in this page.

Good to see another Photoshop User Forum member. :yay: I go by "seebee" over there and most other places. Again, great job; I wouldn't be surprised to see it picked as an Editor's Choice. :woohoo:

Thanks for the nice comment. :)

I received Elements 5 for Christmas, and I signed up over at the Photoshop Elements Forum. Just cruising through the galleries got me motivated. It's harder than it looks. I also pulled out an Elements 3 Digital Scrapbook training CD I order from Scrapper's Guide ages ago, and gave it a try. I have a lot to learn.

I go by Spacecadetswife over there. I'm headed over there to check out your gallery. :cool2:

Wow, that is a beautiful page! It looks absolutely perfect.

Back.

Really like this.

I hope you don't mind me linking that. If so, let me know and I'll fix it ASAP.

And the photo of the leaf with your Rebel. Excellent taste in cameras. ;)

Sure, I don't mind the link; that's one of my favorite pictures on that page! I fell in love with Neat Image because of that picture; it was so unusable before, because it had lots of noise & lines in the photo. I couldn't believe the difference after running that plug-in!

And thank you for the camera compliment! I take it you have a Rebel, too? :)
