My dog LOVES green vegetables!

Does anybody elses? Babe absolutely loves broccoli, brussel sprouts, lettuce, and her favorite.....green beans!!!!

I think it is so funny....if you are eating any of them....she will just sit right in front of you and wait for some!!! They don't even have to be buttered or anything either!! Weird dog!!!

My cat loves corn on the cob and any vegetable but she LOVES corn on the cob. It is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen.

My dogs...not so much.

my dog goes absolutly BONKERS over cucumbers. whenever she sees me whip out the peeler and one of them, she doesn't leave my side.

I dont' give her broccoli anymore though...I couldn't take the stench coming out of her bum. heheh

Mosmom!!....I totally forgot corn on the cob!!! Babe goes absolutely nuts for it!!! We have to be VERY careful when disposing of the cobs too........she will literally eat the cobs.....and I know it could be quite dangerous....because I have picked up in the yard after her before.....and there were actually big pieces of the cob in her you know what!!! Sorry, gross I know!

Our dog used to love fruit and vegetables. The vet told us anything but onions. Apparently raw onions are bad for dogs. He loved cherry tomatoes and would drool like a leaky faucet for oranges...you had to hide from him to eat them!

He also loved strawberries, grapes etc. I would toss him the apple core when I made apple pie. We used to give him carrots instead of treats all the time....better for them in the long run!

Funniest thing was mushrooms. Everything else he would devour, but "shrooms" he would savour....toss around a bit and then lay and hold them between his paws and gently nibble at them. WIERDO!

Our vet even recommended green beans when he was having a little trouble keeping things moving along, if you know what I mean!

Just dont over-do it....too much fiber has the same effect on them as us!

We had a Golden Retreiver, "Bill" who ate anything.....7-layer salad (lettuce, peppers, onion, celery, bacon, cheese and a sweet sour dressing) , corn ON the cob--you could hold it out for him and he used his front teeth to bite it off the cob!!!
I sure miss him......he was really cool!!! Like some of the other posts...I wish my kids ate that good!!!

Poohbear....When you mentioned mushrooms....it reminded me of my cat Romeo (RIP)......he LOVED mushrooms. When we had pizza with them on it Romeo wouldn't leave you alone!!!!


Babe doesn't like mushrooms. But we do give him carrots for treats too (the first one you have to dip in ranch and she will eat the rest fine).

Our dogs love, get this - PICKLES! The little dill pickle chips, can you believe it!

Our labs love no salt green beans, pumpkin, apples, frozen carrots (bursts the cell wall so they can actually digest them)... the list goes on.

I did read that grapes/raisins are bad for dogs as are the salted canned veggies. But then lots of people refuse to give rawhides, and our two LOVE those!!
