My Coke Rewards Universal Orlando Tickets

Hi! New to the UO board. But I just wanted to post that MCR has 1 day tickets for 1,000 points......I got 2 and my DW got 2 with her account. Has anyone used these tickets before?

I have not received the tickets but can answer the upgrade question for you. Unfortunately, they cannot be upgraded as they are considered promo tickets. The promo tickets hold no $$ value. Hope this helps. Thanks.

It certainly wouldn't hurt you to ask. I know that comp tickets can be upgraded to a 2 park. They just charge the difference between what a one park and a 2 park ticket costs. Th official poilicy may be that they can't be upgraded but I would still check at Guest Services inside the park once you get there. They may be able to help you.

Ok I wanted to update here - my daughter and husband are there now - they are at Islands of Adventure now and went to guest services to see if they could upgrade to go over to Universal now. They reported to me that the employee looked at their ticket and told them that the tickets hold no value but for these tickets only they could upgrade for 20.00 each. I know that makes no real sense but that is what they were told so they jumped at it. They were also told if they just went over to Universal it would have cost them 75.00 for the day.

They weren't sure if that meant you should upgrade before you leave the one park or what but it worked out well for them!

The tickets have no value such as a complimentary ticket (comp) has no value. You can't get money back for it. But usually they will let you upgrade and just charge the difference between what the ticket would be worth if it wasn't a free tickets. It is worth what a one day/one park ticket is worth. So they just charge the difference between a one park and a two park tickets thus the $20. By "no value," it just means that if you had a lousy day, you can't get a refund.

Sorry to bring back an old thread.....When you get the tickets through coke I would guess they mail them to you? Just asking, I am leaving for Orlando Sunday morning and if they are emailed that would be cool but if not its cool.

It says they will mail them to you. In the past I have received item quickly via FedEx (or maybe it was UPS) but I don't think you would get them in time.
