My Blast In Space Tips

Hey Everyone! I won the Blast In Space game and know it is difficult. Therefore, Like ElectricLime, I am sharing some of my tips:

1. When you start out a level where you have to score points, Do not move. A bunch of asteroids will come to you. Rack in some points by shooting them.

2. After all the asteroids are gone from the starting place, No more will go there again. This is a "Safe Spot", but if you dont have enough points to move on, move to the outside borders where asteroids enter and exit the field.

3. Also, when playing the scoring levels, Visit space stations and run over the object that follow you and get a special power. (Multiple Missles, Missles from Front and Back of ship, and even Regain Health) But be aware, not all the space stations will be there.

4. The radar is your best friend in the game. Always keep a close eye on it because it shows you Asteroids in your area.

5. Bigger asteroids, as you may know, Split when you hit them. Hit small ones and make them disappear, and get big points.

6. The Space stations are not scattered each time you play. They are in the same places everytime. 1,3,4, and 5 are in each of the corners. 2, is in the middle.

7. Always keep track of your ENERGY, above the time left. If the green bar is low, you might need to find a space station that gives out health.

8.If your energy is low, and have the required score, go into the "Safe Spot" where asteroids will leave you alone. Get to the next level and your ENERGY will increase slightly.

9. For more shooting power when a lot of asteroids surround you, Hold the space bar instead of pressing it. Your ship will release missle after missle, just aim with the Arrow Keys.

10. I suggest the rocket ship, other than the flying saucer. The rocket ship has excellent Firepower and Speed, Major things you will need completing the game. Also, you may get mixed up with the flying saucer, seeing as it is a circle. It might be difficult to recognize the front of the saucer.

I have also just noticed that there is now a STAR TOURS SHIP in the game. Care to try it?:

I've been playing the space game a couple of hours everyday and in the whole time have seen exactly one space station in the game. I barely made it to the second level.

Where did you find the tips on the fireworks game. I've been playing it for about 3 months and have only got to level 3.

These Blast in Space tips are really helping my game dudes! Got up to Level 10 this afternoon...and would have made it to Level 11 if I had noticed I needed 9000 points, not 6000!

great tips. I have one to add. after cleaning out the starting point of asteroids and you still need points move down by station 5. That is a place where to streams of asteroids gather. 1 stream comes from station 3 down and the other stream starts from station 5 and heads towards station 4. If you sit in there you should always be able to make your point quota. Once you meet your requirement just move diagnal left up away from that spot just a bit and your in a safe zone.

I have beaten the game several times with the saucer (didnt care for the rocket).

I have now beaten it with the star tours vehicle and think this is the one I like best. It seems to be stat wise right in the middle between the other 2 vehicles.

i was just wondering if anyone has or could post what happens on each level. i have not been able to make it past 11. the one time collecting those things on i think level 10 is really really tough! ARGH! and i am just curious as to what is ahead to get ready for... ?

This isn't a tip for winning but if you want extra time to practice the game, you can start playing just before closing. The window stays active when VMK closes. I figured you other late night people might want to take advantage of the extra practice time. I don't believe you can get a code if you win during off hours.

I totally stink at this game but have been playing after hours with the hope of improving my playing. I am seeing a small amount of improvement (got to level 7 a couple of times - LOL).

It is one of the arcade games in Tomorrowland. Go to the Tomorrowland Hub and then the pad in the center of the hub.

I don't know if anybody specified where the "safe spot" is. It is directly under a saturn type planet which is directly under the #2 space station. Once you are there you are completely safe!!!

If you are in the first level and get all the points within a few seconds (which happens once you've played for a while) then just sit your ship under that planet, and you can do something else while waiting for the time to run out.

That safe spot it really important in keeping good health throughout the game, so be sure to use it!!
