Will it keep the speed and G forces like that in the video?
Me too! Why can't disney just put cars land on another site, and keep this one? They have plenty of land but seem to like to build over or rebuild older attractions. Just because TSI isn't a thrill ride doesn't mean it isn't enjoyed for what it is.I loved the lack of development on Tom Sawyer Island and the peace in the middle of controlled pandemonium but oh well guess it’s time for progress to envision another look.
Agreed.. I had posted this on a previous page, but it can be done, & still get a lot of land to use for the new areas.TSI needs the "I" to be updated, not demolished.
This proposed attraction is more of an Adventureland product. When I think of Frontierland, I envision a pioneer and exploration into an unknown region associated with a time period. The time period of the current Frontierland is established by the location and feeling; I think the 3 elements are intertwined (time, location, feeling).
Glorified dune buggies racing around hills and valleys isn't very pioneering to me.
I bet you a Dole Whip it comes down to $$$$.As I have said, Tom Sawyer Island should stay, and Cars Land should be built on undeveloped land on the borders of the Magic Kingdom. I see that is exactly what they are doing with Villains Land, so baffles me why they aren't also doing that with Cars Land.
That's what I don't understand. I would think they would save money by not having to tear out the existing attraction. Construction costs for the new should be nearly identical no matter where they build it. I mean, they have owned the land for what, over 50 years?I bet you a Dole Whip it comes down to $$$$.
Love that, Im going in 2 weeks for a quick weekend trip for specifically the same reason. I just couldn’t hold my breath and hope some of it would be there in October.I took a trip to MK this past weekend for a proper farewell to TSI and the Liberty Belle.

I didn't know something was happening to the Tree of Life. I don't see how they can possibly touch that.We had no plans on going to WDW this year, but after reading of changes to some of our nostalgic favorites we booked a quick 3 night stay last night to see Muppet theatre, Tom Sawyer Island, Dinosaur & Tree of Life one more time in their current incarnation.
We leave in just under 3 weeks, making this the most last minute trip we've ever planned. Oh well! Only live once, and since we didn't have plans on going anytime soon we will at least get to see these attractions one more time.
The tree stays. They're only changing the show.I didn't know something was happening to the Tree of Life. I don't see how they can possibly touch that.
It’s not the earth we’ll miss, it’s the water, and they may have to drain it first thing before they can do much else.Chances are folks will have a lot of time to say goodbye. I doubt any earth moves on this for another year.
Yea that would crush the parks’ vibe. It’s the bugs that are going away.I didn't know something was happening to the Tree of Life. I don't see how they can possibly touch that.
