My daughter is turning 3 right in the middle of our stay. I know about the birthday button but is there anything else special we should do?

Make sure to note her birthday if you have a dinner reservation (or lunch or breakfast) that day. What a magical way to celebrate her birthday!

yes! tell the front desk and they will ask who her fav. character is. That character will send a b-day card to her with a signed 5x7 photo....we have done this for each of our kids:thumbsup2

My dd will turn 3 too when we are there. I managed to get her into BBB at the castle (to be made into a princess) and then have lunch at CRT with a special cake made for her. I cant wait! Its going to be sooooo hard to keep quiet about it until July!

Enjoy the last time not having to pay for a ticket or buffets. ;)

We have had several birthdays at Disney and the best have been at Chef Mickeys. In addition to a little extra attention, my children also got autographed birthday place mats to take home. :thumbsup2:

I am buying her a ticket for part of our stay because she turns 3 right in the middle so she will need a ticket for the last 3 days.

I am of the understanding that the age of the child at the start of your stay determines the age. If she turns 3 during your stay (at any point after the 1st day), the child will be considered under 3 for the duration of the stay.

I hope that is true. My DS will also turn 3 during our trip. We are hoping to take him to MVMCP.

My baby will turn 3 on our 3rd day there.:)
I scheduled CRT for a late lunch.
The CM who did my original booking was soooo helpful and told me Disney's policy stated that the age for a ticket only mattered the first day we are there, so no ticket needed for the rest of the stay.
I was very clear with her that I did not mind buying a ticket for the remainder of the time, if needed. She said absolutely "No".
I know some do not mind "fudging" a little on dates, but I could not enjoy myself if I felt as if I was getting away with something. JMHO.

Enjoy your baby's birthday, time does fly doesn't it?;)
