yes! tell the front desk and they will ask who her fav. character is. That character will send a b-day card to her with a signed 5x7 photo....we have done this for each of our kids
My dd will turn 3 too when we are there. I managed to get her into BBB at the castle (to be made into a princess) and then have lunch at CRT with a special cake made for her. I cant wait! Its going to be sooooo hard to keep quiet about it until July!
We have had several birthdays at Disney and the best have been at Chef Mickeys. In addition to a little extra attention, my children also got autographed birthday place mats to take home. :
I am of the understanding that the age of the child at the start of your stay determines the age. If she turns 3 during your stay (at any point after the 1st day), the child will be considered under 3 for the duration of the stay.

My baby will turn 3 on our 3rd day there.
I scheduled CRT for a late lunch.
The CM who did my original booking was soooo helpful and told me Disney's policy stated that the age for a ticket only mattered the first day we are there, so no ticket needed for the rest of the stay.
I was very clear with her that I did not mind buying a ticket for the remainder of the time, if needed. She said absolutely "No".
I know some do not mind "fudging" a little on dates, but I could not enjoy myself if I felt as if I was getting away with something. JMHO.
Enjoy your baby's birthday, time does fly doesn't it?
