broken wrist.
He fell on his swing on Thursday and I thought he just sprained it.
He broke his radius.
We have to wait until next week to put a cast on it though. He's got a splint on it. Evidentally those dr's don't know 6 yo little boys too well. That temporary thing isn't gonna last 10 days.
My SO got so upset at the medical establishment in general. He took him to the dr (first time he's ever done that for either of the kids
). The dr told him to take him to the hospital for xrays. They stopped by work to get me to go with them. All in all with the dr, the hospital, etc. it was a little over 5 hours for them to put a temporary thing on. No telling how long it'll take at the ortho next week. My SO muttered over and over again "They should xray it at the dr, put the cast on at the dr's, but no! They want you to spread your money out to everyone and waste everyone's time." Luckily our 6 yo has more patience than we do at the hospital or we'd both been stir crazy. Dakota gave us some comic relief.
