OMG - gots lots to say.....
the Bus driver was just a wee bit cheeky and just a smidge on the dodgy side ( I get a suspicion that I 'started it').......

but once I explained to him that the Muggle in me is on "that side of the Family:crazy2:
that shall not be named:upsidedow,"
all was well

I rode ALL the attractions there, the individualized attention we all got while on the tour just really enhanced my overall experience there:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

just tho have to add
that our lunch at the Leaky Cauldron = MEH.....:scratchin

Ok....that is NOT a pasty.....
JUST SAYIN -

On a different note, Simpsons was fun -

**JUST DOUBLE RIGHT CLICK OVER THE ABOVE VIDEO W/YOUR MOUSE & IT WILL PLAY 4 U**

More as the days roll on by I promise -
including one incredible IMO Disney "Magical Moment" I experienced today while on a tour at Epcot.
Not one but TWO incredible Magical Moments....

So incredible I don't mind sharing as I DEF promise to be careful in how/what I say out of respect (in a few days when I get back into DFW) for Mary Anne and Laura.
Two Disney employees I will never forget.

and to them I say
YOU TWO made my day and I really wanna tell you also really made me smile.
And along with the knowledge you have given me about Epcot I will always treasure.:thanks:

UP NEXT -
My experience with La Nuba and going backstage......popcorn::

P.S.S. Yes, I do have lots more video to post on this TR and it is my intention once I get back into my home Country (Reality-land), to begin posting more of them .....

(ok, I will admit - the "Dark Side":darth: is MUCH BETTER on our side of the 'Park;):teleport:

But.......
watching "Fantasmic" for about 1/3 of it until it got canceled due to heavy rain....
Ok -
now THAT was different.

We were all supportive of everyone while watching the show in the rain-
esp Beast.

ANYWHO -
Having fun but w/me ave 4 hrs sleep a day,
(I am ave going to bed around midnight to 12:30am & getting up at 4 to 4:30am)

There is gonna be a "next time" for me in regards to WDW so no worries on the Leaky Cauldron.
and what's funny about their version of the pasty, I bought one when I went to Europe a few years ago and those were pretty dang good.

The Leaky Cauldron's version of it? MEH -

ANYWHO -
I have been pushed, pulled, bent, the only person on TWO tours, sawed in half.......
and lovin' every minute of this vacation adventure.:goodvibes
(my sense of balance I can tell is off and it takes me a few minutes to re-adjust my eyes and my mind every time I move/go from one change of scenery to another, etc.

This I can see is occurring since
I have been sooooo immersed in what can be described as a 5-D adventure.....
from the sights, smells, colors, textures, massive crowds, hot temps and the Sun, etc......

and yes, I will open up more on this once I get back n2 DFW.

Meeting Anna & Elsa today -
Elsa was just priceless as I quickly explained to her that when I first visited her 180 days ago when she was vacationing near her home in a country called "Anaheim," that I was too "FROZEN":rotfl:
in fear to ask her for her autograph and I was wondering.............
naturally, she agreed and promised me that it's ok for her to NOT have to wear gloves while she is signing my autograph book, etc.
We talked for a few minutes and then I was off to see MK.:goofy:
More on that later I promise.:goodvibes

Now, about La Nuba.
The show ROCKED!!
and
the backstage tour afterwards (I was the only one on it) was FAB!:jumping1:

Ok, more on all of this when I get back n2 the DFW area I promise. and yes, more pics and video will be posted as well.....

It's just the alarm has been set for 4:30am as I have a busy day going to Animal Kingdom for another tour.

(yes, pics & video and more details forthcoming - I promise)

So I was chillin out tdy @ Tusker House when I chanced upon Mickey, Goofy and company and relayed to them that I am due back n2 my home country of Reality-land in 180 minutes,

they huddled up in a group w/Goofy doing the index finger up in the air as if to say, "I've got it!"

next thing ya know, each stop on by my table and bless me now only with a hug but a very nice going away present of individualized landyard pins from each of them!:cloud9:

(and a pic w/each)

WAY 2 FREAKIN COOL:thanks:

I tell ya what, that has really taken the sting outta what has turned n2 one adventure I will never forget.

Yes, Iv'e got lots to say.....
am kickin it now at MCO waiting to embark on a 3 hours journey n2 recovering some much needed sleep I have lost these last few days......

and ya know, I have often remarked that Disney brings onto us the extra added bonus of Disney magic of when you board the Bus to go to the parks n the am, ya close yer eyes for a bit and get n a quick cat nap.......

then awake 20 to 30 minutes later and VIOLA!!

up in front of you
"magically' appears the Park n ? that you are visiting that day -:)

HOW COOL IS THAT?!!:rotfl:

ANYWHO -
allrightee folks, give me a few days to get my "sea legs" back up underneath me and yup, I will be back at the TR recreating and expanding on the magic I have experienced during this adventure of a lifetime.popcorn::

That is totally awesome you got pins, hugs and a pic of each of the Fab Four !!

Glad you enjoyed the Universal parks..........love RRR.......heck, love it all!!

Have to say we're not fans of the Potter food........we don't eat lamb and beef in a casserole together and definitely not with salad!!! Not a good representation of decent British food.........chicken and ribs at 3B's is good though......

Sounds like you had a lot of fun though......would love to have seen more of your Universal pics though......

Making progress -

got 16 STRAIGHT hours of sleep 36 hrs ago -
just checked out Ladybug outta her hotel -

Yes, wanna share with all of ya what I saw behind the scenes at Epcot while being very respectful of Mary Anne and Laura -

and
yes, what adventure cant be complete without Universal Studios pics and video.

Need a few more days and yes, will be back to expand out on this fun vacation........

So, without further adieu, it's time to jump into the Way Back machine and revisit some of the zaniness I encountered while on this adventure -

A little background.....
So I am on the Bus one day headin out to the Disney parks, when I hear this IMo very catchy song. I ask the driver for the name of it, did a little research on it and found out its from a kids cartoon show 'many years' ago......
SO -
Here's a little bit of the taste of it to getcha n the mood

as we jet off to

MONDAY 04-11-16:moped:
at Pop Century Hotel

via this guy -

and the interior decor at the Front Desk area really set the mood -:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
(they had decorations anywhere from the 50's to the 90's)

and -

Seeing all of this just makes me wonder.....:p

ANYWHO -
Once I got all checked in, I was off to see my room -:goodvibes

(not bad.....very nice overall but IMO, request a room VEERRRYYY close to their lobby area cuz if not, the reception for their internet connection get weaker and weaker the farther away you are from their lobby area.....I didn't know this)

ANYWHO -

Nice way to start my adventure but wait!!
I've got the case of the hungries -

So I thought it would be time to head off to Epcot for the iniital start of being immersed in all things DISney for the next 6 days -

UP NEXT -
Having fun chatting with all the different accents at Epcot's World Showcase.popcorn::

So, as I am entering Epcot -

The topiaries are out I see -

and so are the flowers -

So, it's around 2pm on my day one and I and now off to see the sights and sounds of Epcot. Very glad I got a chance to read, "Epcot: The First 30 Years" by Jeff Lange and Kevin Yee as it gave me a primer if ya will on seeing this park from a different perspective.:)

Keep in mind, I am such a RD and FP quickly each attraction so it was really such a treat to SSLLOOWWW down and see this park with a different pair of eyes if ya will.

Had an ADR at "Rose and Crown" at 3pm so my time was limited at first so I made a bee line for World Showcase & the UK and this place:

But along the way, I met some interesting characters:

The inside of the place immediately reminded me of the UK -

I already knew what I wanted -

A Fisherman's pie

Now, her is where I have a 'poligze to the very nice person who waited on me:duck:
I forgot her name!! RRRRRRR!!!!:headache:

She was very nice -
loved how she spoke

All that was missing was her to have said to me, "Halo Guv'ner!" and I would have been a goner for sure!

ANYWHO -
with a belly 1/2 full of food......

(dessert was just divine)!

I soon was off to visit France

and long the way, I stumbled into this for the very first time = pretty cool!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

**DOUBLE RIGHT CLICK OVER THE ABOVE VIDEO W/YER COMPUTER MOUSE & IT WILL PLAY 4 U**:)

and the land of CM Camile; who was very very very helpful :thanks:
in offering me some ideas of Paris hotels (Bastille, Montmarte, etc). her accent and the way she spoke was just a small part of what I encountered this day as it was such a treat to immerse myself in that particular countries culture, accent, mannerisms, etc.

Ah, but just when the fun was beginning, I was off to shall we say -
politely mess with Jasmine & Aladdin via a M&G at 5:30pm.:genie:

I set it up just beautifully with me 'on a cell phone' talking with Carpet -
who 'was lost.":magnify:

I was giving him directions as I waved off A & J but I was walking towards them where they normally take their Guests to so say hello to.

So, the conversation went something like, "NO! turn around!! you are at Magic Kingdom!! When you see the golf ball on the ground, turn LEFT and look for them!"

By now, Jasmine was curious. Aladdin couldn't figure out what was going on.
I hung up the 'call" by saying, "10 minutes? - GOOD they will be waiting for you."

So, I explained to A & J that Carpet was lost but will be here shortly to pick you up. It's just that he is asking you to sign off on a Guest agreement form.

Jasmine pipes in, "A see page two, we agree to, so on and so forth?":)

I reply, "Yes, and he wants to to......autograph it." (as I whip out my autograph book).

By now,
Jasime catches on to the gag and pulls in Aladdin along with it and the rest of the M&G was just too funny as I left Jasime with the case of the giggles as I was leaving as I reminded them that once they see Epcot from the sky, it is indeed "a whole new world."

Where was I off to next??
But before I could think,

BAM!!
I run n2 this person:

(mental note: WEAR A BASBALL CAP OF SOME KIND DURING HOT & SUNNY DAYS!!) RRRRRRRR!!! i FORGOT TO BRING IT!!

besides......I am wearing my , "Look, it's day one and I have been in an airplane for hours on end.......took a bus just to get here from MCO and this is how I "look" clothing......;)

But - I was in my element, having fun
and it was such a blast having a quick 3 minute conversation w/her about all things Scotland as she gave me such wonderful suggestions on proper foot wear when walking on cobble stone streets........
(EDITOR'S NOTE: :rolleyes1
note the hint of foreshadowing on what will occur on DAY THREE of this adventure via the topic of Cobblestone Streets....)

ANYWHO -
OMG!!

** GERMANY**

and that sweet shop
.........as I was bringing into that shop some eclairs and chocolates from France.......
turned around and had a Grey Goose to sip on while I was nibbling on these treats and taking in "Iluminations" for the very first time -:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

(yes, I just ordered this music from Amazon.com as I have truly fallen in love with Epcot)

FYI - there are actually people hunkered down inside those barges while the fireworks are going off. I learned that while on this adventure via the "Undiscovered World of Epcot" tour.

and the fireworks / show??
LUVED IT!!

Was a very nice way to bring to a semi-close what was truly a fun day.

Boogied on back home,
thumped on the internet for a bit -

ran what is always a nigthly ritual for me or
putting in H20 products in the bathtub..........

turn the handle all the way to H..............

jump in and DON'T MOVE for 30 minutes.:cloud9:

The Sandman didn't catch with me until around midnight to 12:30am.

UP NEXT:
Enjoying a little "Backstage Magic with CM's Jenessa, Natasha & Peterpopcorn::
