You can get plenty of patterns online for free though.

I love your pumpkins! We always end up waiting too long to carve our so it only gets to be lit up for like 2 days. I am determined to scoop out the pumpkins on Wednesday and hopefully carve them that night so that we can show them off for a few days this year! It's just been too warm, I am afraid they would rot if we did them too early.

That's always been my problem too. When to carve. If it is something with alot of detail, you have to wait, otherwise it wilts and doesn't look good. I am usually doing mine the day before or the day of Halloween.

Trying to do some with the fake pumpkins, but they are a pita themselves. I poked out the pattern, took off the paper, and I can hardly see the holes I made.

I get upset everytime another group comes to the house. I bought this candy (sorry, 'sweets') for me. Then you get the grabby kids who take more than they should. Just makes me want to slap them.

You know... you could HAND them the candy so they don't get 'more than they should!' Although, last year, I left a bowl of candy on my porch with the light on thinking it would be completely gone and you know I don't think one person touched it... I would have been really disappointed if I had been at home. We had gone to a party that night with some friends...

Your pumpkins are amazing! We didn't carve ours... they are just sitting on the porch!

If I was a kid in your neighborhood you would have had an empty bowl because I would have put dumped it in my bag. Unless you are giving out crappy candy that nobody wants.

Halloween is fast approaching and I only have one of the fake pumpkins done. Still have 4 more to go, plus 3 real ones.

Why do I do this to myself?

Friday is Party day for the kids. I get to be in Ally's class to help out with the party. We will be making some pumpkin wreathes, hopefully they look like the picture below. After that, it is off to Olivia's day-care for her party. Saturday afternoon the Kiwanis Club has their thingamajig at an old theater, they will have a parade, and will be showing It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

On top of all that, I still have those tie-dye shirts to do.

I had a somewhat successful Halloween. I did get to finish two of the fake pumpkins, and carved 4 real pumpkins. I couldn't do a Disney theme on the real pumpkins because the stencils I printed were too big (I don't have a printer at home, printed the stuff at work). I was able to create some interesting pumpkins though, even Olivias Littlest Pumpkin was made into a jack o'lantern. Man those small ones are hard to cut. Not sure if it is the smaller knife or the pumpkins are harder when they are small.

They are cuties! I think the "artist" looks just like the picture you posted of yourself.

Those pumkins look great! Maybe I will try the fake pumpkins next year! Come to think of it, I bet they are on sale now...
