I bought tickets for Nov 17th! I am exciting to go, last year we went twice , the 1st week of December, it was really crowded, but we had fun. I didn't know you could get in earlier either, all the years I have been going, thanks for the info! Also have been herded to one side too, so nice to know they don't do that anymore! I never saw the special stuff you could purchase either, I have been in the stores looking too, must be looking in the wrong place, have to look better,a special coffee cup sounds nice! We're going for the 1st time on 12/14 - my birthday! If you get there at 4pm do they start taking the free pics then or does that start at 7pm? I'm trying to plan our time there already!

There's a cool pluto one with a red nose that lights up at the Christmas store in Downtown Disney.

I just found Mickey Santa hats for $9.99 on disneyshopping.com. Thought I'd get those instead of paying $20+ inside the park for something similar. I'm going to surprise the kids with them.

You can monogram them too...but I think my teens would think that was corny....so I only did it for my soon to be 7yr old.

Where exactly to they sell the LE merchandise and pins for MVMCP?

how early would any of you suggest for someone to grap a spot on main st for the 2nd parade? I would just love to be able to sit there with the snow falling while watching the parade oh and btw im going on the last day which is also a friday...

For the second parade, you can get a seat anywhere on main street right up until the minute it starts, unless maybe on a weekend. Generally, though, Main Street is pretty wide open for the second parade. It's a beautiful atmosphere with the snow falling!

If i were you, i'd stake it out about 30 mins. beforehand, just to be sure. I doubt you'd need much more time than that being that late. Have fun!

It was scattered last year, to my knowledge.

The special pin that was released THAT night for THAT party was in City Hall ( I think that is the name of the building? I'm not quite the Disney Buff yet-- it's the building where you can go purchase your pictures and has Tonys Town Square).. but it was the only place to buy that pin. I had a lot of trouble trying to get it because I went in there and a CM told me he had no idea what I was talking about so I ended up leaving again and having to go back only to find out that WAS where it was.. and waiting in line to buy one.

Other pins from previous parties were in the Jewelry store on Main Street.


There were little stand alone islands that had been wheeled out for the party in several of the merchandise areas. I noticed them particularly in the POTC gift shop and the gift shop for Mickey's Philharmagic. Those are the only two I remember seeing, though.

I cant answer about the photos, but on the maps there was a symbol for the places where you can get the exclusive MVMCP items to purchase.

I just bought 6 tix to the last night (Friday, Dec. 22). The CM said that night was almost sold out.

I bought 4 tix to that night (12/22) about 2 weeks ago. It'll be our 1st Christmas at Disney, thus also our 1st MVMCP. I'm expecting it to be packed (especially since it's the last night and a Friday to boot) but such is life.

If there is no picture I think that'll be the icing on the cake for me to not go again.. (assuming I make it back to WDW another Christmas)... 50 bucks for all the other stuff is ridiculous. I loved the picture with MVMCP written across the the bottom.
