I am curious how much the hats are the park too. Anyone have a price range of how much they have been in the past?

Don't quote me but I believe the regular santa hats with mickey ears were around $15 last year. Then all the special ones go up in price. I bought a princess one thats pink with a tiara on the front lol! That was $25 and I believe the christmas trees are around $35. I may be wrong, disney prices seem to blurr after a while. lol! I'm hoping this year they'll have something pirate themed Though I'd be totally out of character as a pirate The headbands they sell have a tiny santa hat and character ears and are considerably cheaper but I couldn't say how much. Its amnesia you get in that moment of weakness you have when the kids put on the hat just to take a picture and then somehow your credit card just leaps across the counter I have no self control lol!!

My party night is 11/27. Can't wait!!! Just 6 more days til we leave

I ordered them last week for $7 with discounts. Can't wait to get them plus alot cheaper than buying ones in the park. Anybody know what the green thing is stitched on them after your name? I am thinking it might be a xmas tree but the pictures aren't very clear even when you zoom in.

Yes, everything will be there! It's the best place to get everything and they have an entire hat section!

Got ours in the mail this week. Were your Mickey pom pom's ears a little off? In the picture it looks like the ears are sewed on the top of the pom pom but the ones I got the ears were stiched on the side, and it looks more like a bear head rather than Mickey.

For those attending on Dec.7th, be sure to look to the Northeast at 9:38pm to see the (scheduled) launch of the space shuttle Discovery. (This is the first night launch since 2002.) I'm hoping we can see her in the night sky! (If not, maybe the launch will be delayed until the 9th and we can see it from Port Canaveral aboard the Magic! WISHful thinking!)

I don't remember exactly, but don't parades usually end there??

I think parades that run twice start at one end during the 1st show and start at the other end for the 2nd.

I thought the same...but, the schedule explicitly states both parades kick off in Frontierland...we saw the 2nd one on Nov 13, and it definitely started there.

This year, if it is no longer free and is now part of Photopass (like MNSSHP photos were), then there will be a few Photopass opportunities. My 'guess' is there'll be character photopass locations, Cinderella's carriage again just past IASW, and various other photo opportunities.

The photos will be put on a special MVMCP Photopass card (with the 50% discount info on the back) and you can buy it at the Photo shop before you leave the park (it will be very crowded) OR you can do what I did and buy them when you get home. I was even able to add the MNSSHP 2006 special border to my photos so I'm sure they'll have special borders for MVMCP as well.

First question, yes, i believe you can take your own pictures with your own camera if you want to.
Second, to start a photopass card/account is free. You are not obligated to buy any of the pictures taken. It's good for all pictures swiped with that card for the rest of your trip, not just ones taken that night.
