Murray Hill Transportation Report

Just wanted to let everyone know we used Murray Hill and they were great. We had the sign made, grocery store stop, and the front gate picture. They were waiting when we got there and took our luggage. We were picked up in a very nice black towne car. On our return trip, our driver arrived early, and we were ready. She delivered us back to the airport, curbside, two hours before our plane left. We would use them again. We stayed at All Star Movies and the cost was $85.00 roundtrip with the coupon. By the way, we had a fantastic time!

I've been checking into Town Car companies and have been reading great things about Murray Hill.

Just wondering where you got the coupon and what grocery store they stop at?

Go to there website www.transportation2disney.com there you will find info...name of store they will stop. Perhaps a coupon. Although I don't have a coupon and they gave me a price of $80.00 round trip, mco to Pop.

They stop at Publix and I got the coupon at the bottom of their web site there is a link to the coupon. I saw that those who were going to Pop Century did get a rate of $80.00 but I'm not sure why those going to All Stars got a rate of $90.00.

How many people can fit comfortably? We have a large group and I'm trying tp figure out if we should get some type of bus, minivans, or a few cars. We are interested in the ;east expensive way. Any help would be appreciated. Our group is 20-25 people.

thedisneymom, I would only put 4 other people besides the driver in a car. You could fit 3 in the back seat and 1 in the front with the driver. We used the Towne Car. I think they have other types of vehicles, check their website to be sure. Hope this helps.

We used them in March. There were 9 of us. We booked the van and we were all comfortable in it. All of us were adults so I don't think we would have put anymore in.

Well, I finally made the decision ~ ~ to go with Murray Hill. Our flight gets in at 11 pm so I wanted a dependable company. I like what I've read especially about the grocery stop being included. Are the tolls included in the quote also? Thanks!!

The tolls are included in their quote. The only thing you will owe on top of that is tip for your driver each way.

Anyone know if the grocery store they stop at is 24 hr? Our plane arrives after 11 pm and we need to stop for snacks and adult beverages for the room

most of the Publix stores close at 11pm. What about using a service like www.wegoshop.com instead? Or asking about an alternative grocery store?

I didn't know such a service existed. I would prefer to shop myself but it is definately better than not being able to shop at all. I know that there are a few Winn Dixie's on our route when we drive but I don't know if there are any on the way from OIA. I guess that'll be one more question I'll have to ask when Murray Hill gets back to me with a quote.

Oh, it's good to read positives about this service. I've been researching and pretty much decided to go with them, so these posts just reinforce the decision for me. Yeah! It's going to be so nice to not have to fit a package of diapers in the luggage, and we can get water and wine and diapers and snacks much cheaper at the grocery store stop than on Disney property. The whole service will probably pay for itself once the savings on just water is computed (A decent size bottle of water anywhere at Disney is worth it's weight in gold it seems).

I'm glad to hear that so many people have had positive experiences with Murray Hill. I called a couple of months ago to make a reservation. We'll be staying our first night at an airport hotel. I still don't think the woman I spoke to had any idea that it was really at the airport and not on I-Drive. I'll be calling them this week again to confirm our reservation and to make sure that they'll be at the right hotel.

i used murray hill for transportation oct 1 and for my return on the 12th.

i have nothing but positive things to say about them.
they are accessible by phone at anytime.

there was not a coupon on their website but i talked to marie before i left and she said she would honor it. very nice lady to work with.

the car was prompt and incredibly clean. the driver held up a name sign that i could see as i was going down on the escalator.

i stopped at publix off of universal drive for the grocery stop. it was the cheapest of all i have been to in orlando. great deli for taking a lunch to the room with me.

request Tony V for a driver. he was wonderful. i have been goingto orlando for 11 years and this is the first time i used murray hill. i will be using them again for next years trip. the other years i used two other companies which i will never use again. too many problems. you won't find that happening with murray hill.

I called to confirm my pickup on Tuesday morning. I was right, Marie had us being picked up on International Drive instead of at our airport hotel. All has been changed and I'm far more confident now that we'll be picked up on time, at the right place tomorrow morning.

I can't wait to take off!!!
