Murray Hill Transportation Report

We were with John at 4:30 this morning. He was right on time to pick us up for the airport. He was a wonderful conversationalist, even if it was still the middle of the night.

I'd definitely use Murray Hill again!

Do they charge you in advance or do you pay when they pick you up at the airport? Do they take credit cards? Do you tip each driver separately or at the end of your return trip?

you pay the full round trip fare once you are dropped off at your hotel. you do not pay in advance except for the fact you do pay for the round trip all at once.

they take credit cards. i paid with a cc and if there was any problem, i could have disputed it with my cc company. that was not the case though. murray hill was wonderful company to work with. i have no complaints and will be using them again in the future.
and, i will request tony v. as the driver. he was the greatest.

We also had Tony when we were there a couple of weeks ago. I would absolutely request Tony again and book with Murray Hill.

Every thing went smooth as silk. Tony picked us up at the airport and again on the return.

Paid with cc also and tipped Tony w/cash both ways.

We are planning to use Murray Hill for our next trip in January. It's good to hear such great things about them.

We used MH in June and also had a wonderful experience. I look forward to using them again next June.

You can pay in advance if you prefer. I did because I wanted to prepay as much as I could so those expenses didn't cut into my spending money while I was there. I called Marie and she took my credit card info over the phone and sent me a receipt via e-mail. I paid the tip in cash. $10 both ways for two people.

Just Booked Murray Hill for our December trip.

We are using them next week (!!!!!!!!!!) so I will be sure to post and let you all know how it goes. So far they have been very accomodating and addressed every need we've had.

I loved Murry Hill. I wish I could remember the drivers name it started with a M I think. He was waiting for us at the bottom of the escalator with a name sign. He helped us get the luggage out to the curb so he could go get the van.(5 of us) He had the cartoons playing on a laptop right in between the driver and passenger seat. He drove straight to Publix (great prices) for the grocery stop( 20+ minutes) without a reminder. I left the kids and DH in van to expedite the stop they watched the cartoons the whole time. Didnt even know I took that long.

The next thing I knew he stated as it was raining would I mind doing the photo stop on the way back to the airport? He made a note of this on his paper. Yes he did stop for it on the way back. I was the one who forgot. LOL

They had me for a 4 pm pickup for a 7 pm plane to leave on. He told me 4:30 would be better as that would mean we wouldnt have to wait as long at the airport, but he would be there at 4 if I wanted to have a bite at MCO before boarding the plane. Also told me there was a Krispy Kreme in the airport food court. LOL How did he know I wanted them so bad.

I had such great service, I splurged for them in Oct for my 4 day MNSSHP trip with my DS. I arrived at the POP in style. Car cost more than the room. $49 per night.

Do they just do trips to WDW? The reason I ask is we plan to fly in, somehow get to port canaveral for a cruise, then go to WDW, and then back to airport. So, would they do all the legs of this trip?

yes, they do trips other than wdw.
they have many fares that go to tampa and sanford airports.
i was told by my first driver that they will provide for the people that take cruises.
not sure what that cost will be though.

be sure to see if the coupon is on their website. if it is not, call marie and let her know. she will honor the discount if you bring it to her attention.

i used them for october this year and am very satisfied with their service.
i will use them again.

i always do a three leg trip. do disney and universal. MH will provide transportation for all three legs.

If you choose Murray Hill, and I guess with any company, I would call to confirm your pick up time to return to the airport. We used this company in September, and they forgot us on the return. We had confirmed our pick-up time upon arrival at the hotel but 7 days later they did not show. So just confirm the day before and make sure you confirm the towncar or van as requested.
