We will be there next week and have a group of 7. We wanted pre-park opening reservations at BOG. The only way we were able to get it was to make 3 separate reservations (party of 4, 2 and 1) on separate MDE accounts. Can we do the pre-order for everyone on just one or two reservations? Will we get charged the $10 per person no-show fee if one of the reservations doesn't order anything?

If the single does not show up, they would most likely be charged. As long as at least one person shows up for any reservation, that's not a no-show.

I think you would need to preorder separately fir each reservation.

You need to order at least 1 thing per reservation so you don't run into no show fees. Also keep in mind that you will not be able to split the bill once you're there, so if you have 2/3 different parties - order theres on their own reservation so you dont have to deal with paying ppl back dealing with dining plan credits going to other ppl. etc. - You can order as much or as little on each reservation- doesn't matter if it's a reservation for 1 or for 10, but keep the same parties on the same bill//order.

Unless something has changed in the past few years, we had 3 reservations for 6 of us for lunch a few years ago and we only put the preorder on one reservation and it was no issue. Those 2 single reservations still checked in at the kiosk so they weren't marked a no show.

Every reservation needs to check in to avoid the noshow fee. How you order is up to you. You can preorder all on one reservation. It will all come off of one room's credits.

Be sure everyone checks in and you will be fine.

Just a question: Did you try to book at 180 or at 180+ for a resort reservation? Our booking window for our party of 8 opens up next Sunday. We will be booking at 180+2 and was hoping to book for all 8 in our party. AnY help would be appreciated.

You should be fine for a breakfast or lunch reservation for 8 at 180 days out. We changed our plans around and are going to MK on a different day than originally planned. We booked all of these within the past month by stalking. That’s why we had to get 3 separate reservations.
