rumor has it it will be open by next summer.no offical date has been given to it to open yet.all signs say comming in 2006 and it looks almost like it is done.i've heard feb 2006 and then may 2006.hopefully it will be open soon.
hi,
the pic you see was it entering the tunnel it looked to be doing around 40 mph give or take.i also think that was backwards.the test ride looked smooth.i just happened to start to take some pics of the mountain and a train came out of no way and was going on the tracks.that was a neat little surprise for me and i got the pic.looks like it will be a great ride.
hmm, can't wait for this...hope it isn't another "non thriller" like ms( like ms but imo it's not scary) would like a little more goosebump factor on this one. even with delays it should be open by the time we get there
Great pics, I also can't wait to go on this ride. I'm debating on whether I should tell my fiancee that the ride goes backwards. however, we won't be going to WDW until our honeymoon, and rather than risk annullment, I'll probably tell her.
Off subject and I don't want to take over mrFDNY's thread, but I think I may have spotted a HIDDEN MICKEY in his photo. Take a look over the 6th tan spot (from the light post) on the mountain and tell me what you see.
Look at the 2nd or 3rd picture, right above the 6th tan spot there is a large circle with two smaller circles offset above it. They are the same color as the mountain itself. Or maybe I'm just really tired or crazy one. Anyone else see it??????
