You've got some awesome pictures! I love the photo shoot. That's another on our list for "someday" when we have more time.

I think your HP plan sounds great. I hope you guys love it! They say that the express pass you get by staying at an on-site resort is the only way you can get front-of-the-line for HP. They sell Express passes for the rest of the park, but they apparently won't be usable on Harry Potter stuff. You should be in good shape!

Thanks for the info on the Express passes. I haven't kept up with all of the rumors very well, but that will be great if we can use them on the HP rides!

We are getting close! I actually leave a month from today, but I don't arrive at Disney until a month from tomorrow so I'm doing my 1 month dance tomorrow. Did you notice I got myself a Disney Box? (inspired by you.)

It's that time. Time for the 1 month dance so let's get busy!


Now that that is out of the way here are the plans for Day 10:

We don't really have real plans This is our Islands of Adventure Day and no one knows what Harry Potter is going to be like. I really thought by now they would be having soft openings, but I still haven't heard about any. So the lack of information makes planning a bit difficult. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the rumors are true and they will allow people staying in the Universal hotels into the Harry Potter section 1 hour before park opening. If that is the case we will be there. If that is not the case we will be with the thousands of other people racing to the area at park opening. We'll spend the first part of the day exploring Harry Potter. Then we'll head to the rest of Islands of Adventure where I know those Express passes will come in handy. I have no other concrete plans. No meal plans or anything. Maybe we'll take an afternoon break at the hotel pool. (I've heard it's real nice.) Then we'll head back to the park in the evening. All a bit vague, but that will make it more of an adventure! I'd welcome any tips or information from Islands of Adventure veterans

The pictures I've seen are awesome too! I think they have done a terrific job with theming. Though I don't think I'll believe that is real snow on the buildings in the June heat

From what I can figure out it seems they had a preview for travel agents and such but all cameras were banned. And no one rode the Forbidden Journey though they were allowed into see the que area. Reports indicate the theming is amazing with lots of crazy details and sounds like they will have some great exclusive merchandise. Hopefully we don't drop too much money there I hope they have soft opening for the public soon.

Less than a month AND Harry Potter! I can hardly contain my jealousy!
