Our trip is now 5 days away and my husband just found out he was exposed to Covid at work yesterday. He's vaxxed and boosted but if the inevitable happens will Royal Pacific work with us? I'm hoping they would allow us to move the trip. I just don't know if I should wait it out or just call now. I'm someone who loves to jump the gun while my husband said just wait and see what happens. ughhhh

Well, you could just call up and ask them "what if"? and see what would happen IF the scenario happened, and worst case scenario you postpone/change your dates. Best case you go on your original dates and have fun!

My husband flew from Philly to Texas w/ a co-worker. Then spent 2 days in a rental car with him, and at a restaurant and in meetings, then flew home with him. Co-worker (vaxed, boosted but about 2 months out from a triple bypass )got it, my husband (vaxed & boosted,) did not. So fingers crossed your husband continues to test negative.

Thank you! I just needed someone to talk me down off the ledge! Haha

My husband said the coworker was only in his office for like 10 minutes and he was never closer than 6 feet but I like to worry about crap I can’t control.

The hospital where I work would not even consider this "an exposure". I would continue to plan the trip.
They have a specific definition of exposure: <6' away for at least 15 minutes.

This happened to us. My son was exposed, we waited to see, he tested positive when we were inside of the 6 days. I called to try to move the dates and they told me they could make a "one time exception" to allow me to move the dates without losing our deposit. I was told that normal policy is that moving the dates if you are already inside the cancellation period, it's like canceling and rebooking so you lose your deposit. I know by now you've probably gone on the trip but FYI to anyone wondering in the future!
