Mousekeeping and 2 Continuing Reservations (1 With DVC Points and 1 With Cash)

Hi Disfriends!

DH and I are scheduled to check in to a 1 bedroom at BWV; we'll stay from October 27-November 3. October 27-November 1 is booked on our DVC points, and November 1-3 is booked on a cash reservation. Both reservations are the same category-garden/pool view and both reservations have been noted as continuing reservations. Member services has indicated there is a high probability that we can stay in the same villa for the duration of our trip and that we just need to double check that we can when we check in.

So, how would housekeeping work for this scenario, assuming we are able to stay in the same villa for the whole trip? When can we expect mousekeeping to come, and what kind of service would be provided on which days?

Any info on this would be awesome! Thanks so much!

Since you are staying under 8 nights, you would get trash and towel on day 4.

Yes, you should get daily mousekeeping on your cash days - however, the one time I stayed on a cash booking for 10 days at Jambo the daily mousekeeping was hit or miss & didn’t happen every day, closer to every other day, I didn’t care, so I didn’t contact anyone about it.

Did you book cash via MS or direct with Disney? I think housekeeping is every other day now with cash booking with Disney.

@Sandisw I booked our cash reservation with MS at the same time I booked using our DVC points. So, both bookings were done with DVC MS.

Then it will be treated as a complete DVC reservation and there will be no extra housekeeping.
