Fine with me. We love Epcot and staying at the Epcot resorts, so that just makes it less crowded for us

No one is saying crowds will lose crowds but they likely just won't increase as much. So it really won't be less crowded.

If people are choosing to spend their park time at HS or AK instead of Epcot, wouldn't that make it less crowded?

But overall attendance just keeps increasing. Let's says in theory AK and DHS attendance increases to 12-13 million a year after their expansions open, But Epcot stays at 11 million. Attendance didn't decrease at Epcot but is stagnant and it is then the least visited park. These new expansions are only going to bring more people to Orlando. Therefore attendance is only going to go up and not down.
