most over rated ride?

I love soarin' but we are rotten on that ride and to 'spruce' it up pretend to interact with the screen - like stepping on the people on the screen. We are feet wigglers.

I don't like the nemo show. It's such a long wait and the people part of the puppets freaks me out. It really disconnects me from the story. I don't understand why people like it.

I'll take the nemo ride at WDW over DL any day. Cramed in a tiny sub with screaming babies and really smelly people is nasty.

And Turtle Talk with Crush. It was really cute the first time we did it, but the second and third time...DL has a 'meet stitch' thing that is very similar only it's one family at a time and is really charming. It's never the same.

For me it is RnR. I think this has the least Disney magic of any ride and it feels like you could find it be found at any other park on the planet. Dont get me wrong, I think it is a decent ride, just not what I am looking for when I go to WDW.

The Nemo ride was a big disappointment and we weren't expecting much to begin with! Basically it was watching a cartoon with pretty much the same thing over and over. By the time we got off I thought if I heard "NEMO, where are you NEMO?" (and then the giggle) one more time I was going to scream. :-(

For myself it would be Soarin.I remember being at the rope drop(as people & tour guides said was a must)or the Fast passes might be gone.It is not that I would never go on the ride again, but I would not wait to long in either line.:thumbsup2

I don't like... (gasp) Haunted Mansion. I know everybody is obsessed w/ that ride, but I personally don't enjoy it and have skipped it several times.

Okay, I love that one, but never really appreciated it as much until I had the chance to ride it at midnight on a dreary drizzly evening - THAT kind of just made it right. The Haunted Mansion on a bright, sunny Florida day just doesn't have the same creepy factor.

But HM isn't (I don't think) a ride that gets the same "hype" as one's like Soarin', Test Track, Everest, etc. It's given a special status because it is (again, I think) regarded as one of the classics. That, to me, is a little different from hype.

However, I know you aren't alone in not liking it - my wife could easily take it or leave it, and on our last trip she didn't get a chance to go on the ride and she didn't care either.

My choice (and I don't know if this one counts as a ride that gets enough hype) is Pooh in MK. I can only fathom that because little kids MUST go on the ride that it is a FastPass attraction. Even though it is technically far more advanced of a dark ride than the one it replaced (Toad), I don't think it has the same heart and character that Toad did.

The only ride that I think is overrated is Nemo

I love TT, Soarin', ToT, TSM, and everything else people have called overrated on this thread!

Right now, it would have to be Toy Story, but that's new and will die down.

My vote is for BTMRR. It isn't a great coaster and has a pretty crappy theme, IMO. But I'm thrilled there is a ride I don't have any interest in that draws people away from other stuff. :)

I'm with everyone who says Nemo is pretty crappy, but I never hear anyone rave about it and it is easy to get on without a wait, so I don't think it is really over-rated.

Even though it's not an actual ride, I always thought Lights Motors Action was way over-hyped. While I was happy to see it once, I don't feel the need to see it again.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.. It's the roller coaster that tries, but IMO fails..

I'd agree with this. I'd skip it on this upcoming trip if I could... but my son is way too much of a cars/motorcycles - anything with wheels - fanatic to be able to get away with doing so.

Soarin', dont get me wrong, I actually enjoy the ride quite a bit. But I thin it is overrated by many. As for just flat out worst ride/attraction, no question Stitch wins hands down :rolleyes1
