I'm definitely not an expert on mnsshp as we've only been once but I can share my experience.

1. No, you do not have to dress up. But the people who did sure looked like they were having a blast!! My dd's dressed up but I didn't (I wish I had!)

2. I think all of the rides were open. I know we went on everything we wanted to!!

3. I think you could do either but we had a 4:30 ps at The Crystal Palace and we were able to stay in the park until the party started. It was fun for the girls to be at a character meal in costume!!

This was the highlight of our trip and was definitely worth doing. I'm not sure I'd be happy visiting at any other time of the year after attending this event!! Have fun!

We've been to MNSSHP on Halloween in both 2000 and 2003 and really enjoyed it both times.

Both years our kids wore costumes and DW and I did not. The vast majority of the children, and I would guess about half the adults were wearing costumes.

As far as I know, all the rides were open.

We ate supper in the cafeteria at ASMo and arrived at MK around 5pm. We were admitted with our MNSSHP tickets and rode A LOT of rides as most guests were headed toward the exits. At 6pm all the MNSSHP ticketholders were directed to Tomorrowland until the party officially started at 7pm.

The atmosphere is great and we have ridden as many rides during the party as we would on an entire normal day in MK.

I would highly recommend it!
