My DD will take of hubby as much as she can, but she has to work too. DS works lots of hours.

Just so everyone knows for their husbands and kids sakes -
we don't do public displays of affection. most people have no clue I swing that way. Tammy looks a bit more like your stereotypical lesbian, but she's not gonna do anything that will offend you guys -
other than be a dork.

Cel, it was because he had dated her. Just so you know in advance, if my DH doesn't participate in some of the meet events, it is most likely because he doesn't always feel like being sociable. And he will probably spend a lot less time in the parks than I like to go. I was able to sell him on getting more days worth of tickets because they were so cheap to add with the price structure. But in reality, he may not go every day or just go for a little while some days.

I think I may end up renting a car so he can do some stuff off-site if he feels like he needs a break. He is often happiest to be able to go back to the room, order pizza delivery, and watch TV in the evening!

Big TV night!!! American Idol and Lost.... We've been pretty busy today. Cleaned the deck off for our picnic this weekend, took the dog to get groomed and a visit to WalMart...I know, so much fun

Twinkie, I LOVE the new house Lot's of space for the Twinkie family!!

So DH who sprained his ankle day before last couldn't even walk on it yesterday, and went to the doctor this morning (DD took him). Turns out it has 2 fractures in his foot He can't walk on it at all for 10 days, and then they will give him a "soft boot", whatever that is. It's his right foot too, so he can't drive at all, not sure after the soft boot thing. And his job involves LOTS of walking, since he is a Landscaping manager.

Don't know yet if it falls under worker's comp since it happened at work, or sicktime, or he has to take vaction time. I don't know the circumstances (some wife I am, huh?)

If you weren't in FL, I'd come mow your yard...as long as I don't have to weed gardens!

Sis, Maybe you could get your DH one of those walkers with wheels. Getting around on one foot has got to be rough.

MommyP- I am still tired. But I am a lot older than you so maybe that is it. Actually my problem is that on Monday I felt great and stayed busy ALL day and I just now feel "recovered" from the exhaustion that followed.

Congrats on being done with school Haley! Today was our last day of school and gymnastics and everything. Kind of sad. I celebrated by dissing for too much and eating potato chips for lunch.

I love all MEATLOAF ...okey here is my story about Paradise by the Dashboard Light.......I was taking care of my best friends two girls while she went to Nursing school......our two kids were about the same ages of hers....so anywhoooooooo.....when hubby was in Sicily in the Navy he bought a big reel to reel tape player.....SONY and top of the players......it hadnt even got into the US yet.......so anywhooooooooo......the kids would play music that we had recorded off our RECORDs and they would sing with the microphones......this was the song they sang......three girls and my dear son.......they would take turns singing this song......and then Shanti, my friends oldest would sing the part with the heavy breathing.......NEVER EVER in my wildest dreams did I think that the song was a wee bit Risque.....never ever.......UNTIL a few years ago when Linda and I were talking and I said.......OMG LINDA......I let the girls and young brian sing this dirty song and I never knew it.......we still laugh about this......and how many peoples kids have I nutured here in this house........

Tonight we went for another 40 mile ride and got rid of MILS cedar chest and one of her bureaus.....the other bureau is going to our sons house....but the other stuff went to my BILs so his daughter takes all of it to Nova Scotia when she goes to college.......oh well....my home is coming back to normal....to much stuff still to get rid of.....

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD Morning everyone! I so don't feel like that though.

I actually slept from the time I went to bed until the alarm went off! No potty breaks! Of course, that's not saying much since I went to bed after 12. But now I am up and can't go back to sleep. And of course since I'm up early, the kids are waking up early.
