Mommy P-- You were up way to early. I am tired from last night I can imagine how you feel. I am not young anymore.

You always ask what is hot ....today is going to be really hot for here. 32 C which is closing in on 90F. Plus today we have humidity. I may turn my air conditioner on today.

Besty-- I see you have been getting ready for you picnic. I get really stressed having company over. I do love it but I worry do I have enough food, enough chairs etc. Plus I would have to get in my backyard and clean up my flowerbeds there. Makes me tired just thinking about it.

Little Blue -- How is T.J.? is he a good baby? Bet he is growing like a weed already...

Kelly-- Babynurse is gone for the weekend already I think. You didn't watch Idol last night. Everything is coming to an end.

Thanks for the nice words about the house everyone! We are excited.
Last night I packed again. All the books are packed and I started on the dishes. I just need to stick with it slow and steady.

It was raining this morning. Great weather for sleeping in but alas and alack, I, slacker mom, was out of bread and milk so off to Walmart I went.... with no kids!!!!!! See summer vacation can be good for mamas!

I bought cherry poptarts because Jack Sparrow was on the box. Twinkerbell is a huge fan. (Should I be worried? She is 5)

I did not buy the box labeled "Disney's Pirate Patties"... yes fellow moo-eeps, you can buy hamburger patties in the shape of a pirate flag. The serving suggestion was to serve it over a bed of lettuce (hmm... very low carb... maybe I, not my 5 yr old DD, am the target audience) with a ketchup and mustard sword. (How do I squirt the ketchup with such precision??????)

Gooood Morning Everybody. Sure glad to see you here Dre. Just when I thought the big news today would be the spat on The View, along comes the announcement that Joey Buttafuoco and and Amy Fisher are back together. Pure bliss. A match made in heaven? Could a shotgun wedding be in the works?

In other news, please tell me that some of you are Deadliest Catch fans. It doesn't get any better than watching Sig Hansen, Captain of the Northwestern, and the rest of the Hansen Brothers pull up a pot loaded with crab. They need to come up with new tricks to play on the other ships though. The one about pulling another ship's pots, stealing the crabs and welding the trap permanently closed is getting old. This is GREAT TV. Maybe I will be a deckhand on a crabbing ship when I grow up.

Twinkie- I confess I buy any and all Captain Jack foods. I'd buy Jack Sparrow bunion cream (I almost said "rhoid cream" No I dont need bunion or rhoid cream!!!!!!! really!) if my freebie pirate was on the box. Sigh. The snackfood industry saw me coming.

Pop tarts taste better made with a little Jack Sparrow inem! Er, um, nevermind. They taste better since he's on the box. THAT's what I meant.

Has anyone seen Shrek III? Wondering if there's enough farts, burps, and other bodily functions to entertain my boys? And enough covert adult humor to see me through a tub of popcorn?

UMA -- I did not see any Lip gloss sorry....I did see Shrek 3 and my 10 year old thought it was ok. Lots of adult references for you. I like the second one better though.

But he really want to see the latest Pirates.

Costco wasn't to bad. A lot of people buying plants, hamburgers and hotdogs. When I see carts like that all I can think is I wouldn't want that bill.

I slept in a bit too after our late night chat. I didn't even get to work until after 9.
So no lunch for me!
(But I'm cheating and checking in with the moops while I eat tuna at my desk)

Guess what? Tammy is going to be so mad.
We're going to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge this weekend, right?

I told him where we'd be so he can avoid us.
I can't decide whether or not to tell Tammy. Hmm. I think I'll leave it up to fate. If she logs on and catches up, she'll know.

I kinda like that name for him. I won't tell him though. Although he's figured out Tammy doesn't like him anymore.

Hi Celery-- I have been to Galtlinburg. We got there at night. It was pretty scary going though all those trees and curves. I have also been to Dollywood but that was like 14 years ago.

Last time we were there Hannah of course got three Dolly dresses. Love that store.

I was going to turn the air on so I was hosing down the coils before I did and found out a squirrel has been hiding peanuts in there over the winter. And there is a huge nest in there. I can't tell if it is fur or mold on it so I won't be turning it on until Hubby gets that out of there. The cover has to be unbolted to get it. We even had a cover on it so it made a cozy home over the winter I guess.

Jack actually starts today, a day early I heard on the radio. Unless they mean at midnight tonight.

Reasons why Tammy is mad at Ben -
1. He lived with us and we never asked for a dime because he was still paying his mortgage. As soon as he could stop paying the mortgage, he moved out and didn't give us anything.
2. We paid for him and one of his lady friends to go on the cruise - $1000.00. He's paid $100.00 of it back so far.
3. One of his lady friends came and stayed at our place for two or three weeks over Christmas - we became very attached to her only to find out he was dating someone else behind her back.
4. Then he dumped them both to try and work something out with his psycho wife (she's loooooooony tunes).
5. He got the tattoo that he and I were going to get together (a phoenix - since we're both changing our lives right now) WITH HIS PSYCHO WIFE!
6. When I stopped calling him, he didn't really even notice.
7. He dumped his other friends too because he found someone "better."

Reasons why I still talk to him - Umm. I'm dumb?
