I had a public school education. Some of it in the great state of Tenessee.... where square dancing is taught AND "the Elvis years" are considered a valid historical era. So I can do a mean Virginia Reel AND sing Blue Suede Shoes.

My late mother in law was a diehard Elvis fan. When asked if there was anything special she'd like for her birthday, etc. ,she'd always say: " Elvis tapes". And by tapes she meant 8 tracks! So we bought her a nice cassette player and some cassettes. After that,I'd spend quality shopping time searching through the $2.99 cassettes for anything the King ever recorded.

I love country music, just uploaded some Alabama (Dixieland Delight) and Elvis to my ipod (Hound dog, now there's a song!! ) needed something more jumpy to run to!

DS last night said he would take the ketorolac, but he was having problems with the upset stomach - that kid! I'm going to try and track down his first urologist and see if I can get advice on how and where to proceed. He is in contact with his professors (week before finals! Timing is everything!)

The sun is shining Angel. No hang over either.

One summer we on our adventures to no where in particular we ended up at Graceland. Now if you want to see die hard fans. There were some great looking impersonators there, and some not.... And of course Elvis everything.

Anyway his house is in a 70's time warp that is for sure. Lot's of shag rug in his animal family room. It was neat to go into his two airplanes he had and see all his old cars.

Eeyore -- The poor kid. Hope he can work something out with his professors.

My brother tried to teach me the two step, not good at it. But I do love country music new and old. Hubby hates it. He is a AC/DC kind of guy. No one believes me when I tell them that he likes heavy metal kind of stuff.

I already made my dinner! I feel as if I've accomplished so much already. It's Crock Pot Sloppy Joes tonight! I've also washed 2 loads of laundry and dried 1. Jeremiah read to me while I was putting dinner together. And now he's writing a story about Jesus. It's so sweet!

I love God sent Jesus on the cross for ar sins then poot a big stone over the toom. Jesus rose from the toom and rose from the dead and rose up to God.

That is so sweet MommyP. I have saved quite a few of the stories and notes our daughters have written. Matter of fact, I found an "I love you mommy" note the other day from the youngest.
I have a storage box for each of our girls and place memorable items in them ( their very own time capsules). Hopefully they will enjoy looking at them when they are older.

I did a crock pot meal yesterday and half of us didn't like it and ended up eating cereal (the boys).
