Uma - Yes, she does homeschool. I WANT her laundry room! If I EVER have a big enough laundry room I am doing what she does! Keeping everyone's clothes in the laundry room makes a Mama's job much easier! PLUS it allows for more room in the bedrooms!

I am in the process of buying a house RIGHT now. Like on the cell with DH who keeps getting stuck in meetings and the realtor and dealing with buying a house in a place where I am NOT and DH forgot the checkbook. Would it look wierd to pay the earnest money in cash? or subway coupons??????


We decided on a house. Warmed up to it. Of course they got another offer so we are making one speedy quick as they haven't accepted the first. If we don't get it we will be back to square one and have to go house hunting again this weekend.


In other news I did read THAT thread. Almost pmed a link to MommyP.... just to watch her open a can of whup-bum. I am soooooooo tempted to go over and respond even though I am a strict conflict avoider....

Maybe Ritz will handle it for me

I was going to use the "idiocracy" argument.... which is that I need to have lots of kids for the good of the planet earth, you know, help the population with more intelligence genes

but actually I am glad they feel that way.... people who don't want kids SHOULDN'T have them.

Twinkie--I am glad you warmed up to that house. I should be de cluttering but I have no where to put it. I seem to be just moving things around.

Hubby looked in to storage places but wow they are expensive and very few. Everyone else has there junk in them. Maybe I will try to make a space in the corner of the basement and start stacking. Hubby hasn't finished painting either. And now he is back on his course which will take all but maybe a few hours of the day for us. I am stressing again.

Mommy P -- that was so cute with the reading. I checked out that thread. Sad.Maybe they want it like China were everyone can only have one chid.

8 loads of laundry, washed, dried, folded and waiting for owners to put away!

ds is still suffering. I jump all over it, ready to head down there (3 1/2 hours south!) but if he can sit in his room on the computer so can I... kids! (He says he's waiting to hear from a professor, I'm thinkin he wants to put a hold on all his classes and come home to have surgery! I got him a walk in appt for a ct scan to assess the pain/size of stone!) You cant tell a kid anything!! they have to do things their way!!

Nab - We live within 1 hours drive to the Gulf Coast. It's about 2 hours to the East Coast which is where we like to vacation on the beach. Chad and I are going for 2 nights for my Birthday in May.
