Picking your brains - rental resort

I am actively house shopping to purchase another vacation rental

For those of you who stay in short term rentals in the Disney area - or even better, anyone who owns one, can I pick your brains?

When it comes to community name recognition, which of these resorts have you heard of:

Emerald Island
Paradise Palms
Windsor Palms

If you have stayed in one or more, which one(s)? And can you comment on your experience?

I've heard of Windsor Palms and Emerald Island. I stayed at Windsor Palms in a 2 bedroom condo in 2016. The resort was very nice and the condo we stayed in was beautiful. We booked it because we usually booked Windsor Hills but could not find an affordable rental that year.

I would think long and hard about buying a rental in the Disney area. The area is saturated with rental properties.

Insurance is high in Florida. The property tax situation could get worse for rental owners due to the state wanting to get rid of property tax for resident homeowners.

I have heard of all 3. We have stayed at Windsor Palms. It was ok. I found the community pool to be small and cramped feeling. We stayed at a 'themed' house. I don't really care about themed homes. Actually we try to avoid them. I feel that the beds, quality of housekeeping, and kitchen essentials are more important. Also if you are thinking of families, I would mention to think about baby/toddler safety. A lot of rentals don't consider those things. Outlet covers, handle locks, and gates are low cost items that help parents out a lot.
