Im thinking a cruise Nab!

I haven't been on a real vacation in over 15 years. One 2 week trip to visit my mom, one week trip to visit my mom, but TRUST me, those are NOT vacations!!!!!!!!

You should do a cruise Marita. Because you can do as little or as much as you want. Do you get discounts off for Disney Cruises? Mind you these cruises have thousands of kids on them.....Not sure that is a vacation to you .

I tell the kids all the time. Not all kids get to do all the things they do, or go places they have been. I too know my life would have been different if I didn't marry the second time.

For one , I am sure I wouldn't have found all of you great friends!!! Don't know what I do with out you all....

Yes, Nab, I do get a discount on Disney cruises. Not sure how much, I think it depends on time of year and availability.

Nabbie, glad you and the kids had so much fun! Not that I doubted that you would.

We didn't end up going to the movie. After dinner, I asked hubby to stop at the Lazy Boy store because I have been thinking about getting a recliner because using the ottoman that goes with my chair puts my knee in a bad position. Well, he thought he might like to replace his recliner too. So we had a really great saleswoman who was showing us various options and time got away from us. I think we decided on some chairs we like, but I am going back Tuesday with the arm cover from the sofa to check colors. I'm pretty sure we are getting a fairly dark brown leather, similar to hubby's recliner that has seen better days.

My main criterion was to find one where the arm is high enough to still type on my laptop. Not an easy task But I think I found one that'll work.

We also went shopping for a new kitchen faucet and a bathroom faucet for hubby.

So we ended up renting a movie instead.

Pumba and Lynette - Sorry to hear about your sow. We got a tad here, but not too bad so far. For some reason we lost our power for a couple hours this morning. Hope you don't get ice or anything too nasty.

I'd like to try a Disney cruise, kids and all, Marita. I know there are adults only things to do on them. I think I would enjoy the Disney theming and visiting Castaway Cay. Of course I'd have to team a cruise with a WDW visit.

I'm baaaaack!!! Got in last night and immediately had to go to a movie with my friends. Ha! They missed me. Okay, fine, I missed them too.

Today was crazy with trying to unpack and repack everything I wanted to have at school, grocery, laundry, stuff like that. Then, my dad called me at one point to tell me my grandma is very sick and they wanted to admit her to the hospital. She was at the ER. She refused. She's very stubborn. So, she needs to be in the hospital but instead she's at home with my grandpa who doesn't know how to care for her.

In good news, I got a printer for Christmas so now there will be no more 2am trips to the library to print papers. I know that seemed random, but I just hooked it up. Tomorrow is my first day at my new school so I'm a little nervous, but not really.

How was everyone's weekend?

I am watching Jon and Kate plus 8 on TLC and they are WDW. They were just at Chef Mickey's and are staying at WL.

I think this is a repeat....but never saw it before.

Marita...yes, I almost completed my college career printer-less. It wasn't so bad at first but it started getting really old walking to the library when it was cold out or really late at night. Seriously sometimes I would have to print something at 2am and it probably wasn't safe for me to be walking through the ghetto at that hour either. But yes, the situation has been remedied.

Nab...someone was just telling me about how the John and Kate plus eight people had been at Chef Mickey's. Was that someone on this thread? More likely it was someone at work, I guess.

It seems weird to be back in this apartment and back to my old routine. Even though I was working over 40 hours a week when I was in Orlando I wasn't half as stressed out as I am when I'm back home. Wassup with that?

But I was working the whole time. When I worked doubles I worked 14 hours straight. I never teach 14 hours straight! Yet I wasn't stressed like I am at home. Maybe it was the removal of much of my family that removed the stress.

Marita- I can just see you surfing the web for airforce sites. Check out the Space A vacation pages.... those are my favorite. My sister used to work for the navy so she was eligible but she quit this year before I had a chance to try Shades of Green.

BBN- Sorry about your Colts. We watched the game and looked for you in the crowd but everyone was wearing their blue jersey today.
