It is here! The bus comes at 12:10 so lunch is early. Today Chef Twinkie prepared a lovely ensemble of apple slices to dip in peanut butter and whole wheat goldfish. A 2007 Faucet Juice De Kansasivaugn complements the luncheon nicely.Last edited by babynurse1 : Today at 10:11 AM. Reason: Is it lunchtime yet?
Hey People! I haven't read back past this page but I saw the pictures and it looked like you all had a great time!
LY/Mi and Miss ya too!
And to BBN and anyone else- trip reports are supposed to be fun. Just read the ones you want to read.... if you feel like you "have" to read it then that isn't fun. If you read mine and like it- let me know- I love praise.... however if you don't like it or it just plain doesn't catch your fancy or you would rather eat glass well hey.... don't read it! and don't worry!
Hi to BBN, PJ, Marita, and Twinkie! Marita, hope your Monday is not too terrible now that you're back at work. (hugs)
BBN..it is just now time for lunch. I didn't get to eat lunch at school because we were having a crisis involving chicken nuggets, chocolate milk, pencils, and the fact that 3rd grade boys are just plain mean.I'll leave the rest up to your imagination.
I do love that phrase. And Figment at the old Imagination Pavillion back in the day before it was a big kodak commericial without the cool upstairs.......not a FIGMENT of my IMAGINATION....gotta love that phrase......
have a good night you all![]()
Well I didn't get anything accomplished today. Except, I did mow this afternoon and cook dinner and bake a banana sour cream cake with homemade icing. But other than that nothing.Twinkie - Did you get your ironing done?
DVC split and Year-end tomorrow and this week. I need a VACATION!

That sounds like a lot to me MP! I did get my ironing doneand one load of laundry (that is all I needed to do cause I was a laundry fiend over the weekend) and went to the Walmarts and worked on reading skills with my twins and sewed on a button and ironed on patches to uniforms AND cooked dinner AND cleaned up the kitchen afterwards. A two banana day for sure!

Very productive day, Twinkie!
You know- just having the option would make work a lot more tolerable to me.
Well, it's not really an option, as I would have to find another job, which would probably pay a fraction of what I make now. But, it's out there..... I could alway go back to being a cashier at Publix....... 3 miles max to work., save a ton on gas, no stress! Or I could go work for H&R block, but doing tax returns sounds like stress to me, I hate doing my own. Plus it would mean not paying in to 401K for 5 years.
My retirement income doubles in 5 years from what it would be now. so it's really not a very desirable option.
But your 3rd grade boy is all sweetness and nice just like his mama, I'm sure. Right? RIGHT???I have a 3rd grade boy. No imagination required. I live it every day.
sorry you're just now having lunch.![]()
Not to add commas????to add an apostrophe and an e
Glad to hear she ended up doing fine, Sandy. Goog news!DD enjoyed working on the bracelets, it helped keep her mind occupied - she did great on the plane -
Nada en el mousketeria. Por que?Went back to work today, BLECHHI could not have been Less motivated. Nothing to eat in the cafeteria (big surprise, huh!) I had a partial bag of Doritos for lunch and just had a partial can of mini-ravioli for dinner.
My best friend Eren worked at the Figment ride for 6 months and even she admitted that it sucks.I do love that phrase. And Figment at the old Imagination Pavillion back in the day before it was a big kodak commericial without the cool upstairs.

It is quiet here. I think DH just put everyone to bed. Grasshopper is stretching and kicking. My stomach hurts from the inside- but it is still lots of fun.
Well then what on earth did they go changing it for?The saddest thing is..... 25 years ago when epcot opened (and you were not yet a twinkle in your daddy's eye) that pavillion was REALLY COOL.
There was a whole upstairs with all this neat interactive stuff. They had all these green screens with CMs and you could be in a cartoon.

That's so cool, Marita!!I remember those kicks (and feet under the ribs), yes, it was lots of fun.
Today was the 25th anniversary of Epcot opening. I was there, standing in front of the big ball, on a wall, holding balloons, while speeches were being made and entertainment went on. Now, had I been any smarter back then, I could probably just have been in the audience to observe, since I was supervisor in charge of putting Epcot on the books. But NOOOO, I didn't know to ask, so I donned a costume (something spacey looking in shiny blue I think) and stood there holding balloons!

Nein, ich verstehe nicht.
But my guess is that it means the mouseketerias suck. Some worse than others (mine sucks big time).
Except the ones where the executives eat, of course!!!!!!!!
Another piece of disney history: Once upon a time, Disney operated the employee cafeterias. Life was goog! Then it was outsourced to Aramark, not so good, but tolerable. Then someone came up with this brilliant idea of "Express" or whatever it is called, I forget. So now there are no hot lunches except for grill, and the cooler and freezer, which most of the time are half empty. And to go anywhere of property would take well over an hour.
Now in the executive buildings, you get a choice of at least 3 hot meals with meat, veggies, etc, pizza, calzones, made to order Boars head sandwiches with tons of choices of bread and toppings, salad bar, grill, soup station, blah blah blah.....
OK, I better shut up, my mood is not so good tonight, sorry.
And where is Moo tonight??????
