It is here! The bus comes at 12:10 so lunch is early. Today Chef Twinkie prepared a lovely ensemble of apple slices to dip in peanut butter and whole wheat goldfish. A 2007 Faucet Juice De Kansasivaugn complements the luncheon nicely.

And to BBN and anyone else- trip reports are supposed to be fun. Just read the ones you want to read.... if you feel like you "have" to read it then that isn't fun. If you read mine and like it- let me know- I love praise.... however if you don't like it or it just plain doesn't catch your fancy or you would rather eat glass well hey.... don't read it! and don't worry!

I love the trip pictures!!!! Everyone is as cute as a button and it looks like so much fun.

Great pics!!!!! You guys are ALL adorable!!!!!

Hi Lex, MommyP, NAB, and Moo! Nice to have you back.

Hi to BBN, PJ, Marita, and Twinkie! Marita, hope your Monday is not too terrible now that you're back at work. (hugs)

Twinkie....I hear that 2007 is a fine year for Faucet Juice. Bottoms up!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So the wash is done, groceries bought. The stuff I remembered to buy that is. Have to go out and get a few things I forgot later.

My day flew by hope the kids don't come home with a lot of homework. They have a short week because there is PD day on Friday and our Thanksgiving is on Monday....:woohoo:

Twinkie-- I didn't even know they made whole wheat gold fish...

I think I forgot to have lunch today but I do have BQ spare ribs in the oven for supper tonight. The kids won't notice the difference but I will when I am doing the dishes...

Hi to all. :wave2:

Thanks for sharing all the pictures. Too cute! It looks like a wonderful time.

BBN..it is just now time for lunch. I didn't get to eat lunch at school because we were having a crisis involving chicken nuggets, chocolate milk, pencils, and the fact that 3rd grade boys are just plain mean. :sad2: I'll leave the rest up to your imagination.

I wanted to read it. I enjoyed it immensely. I want to finish it, but my computer is extra slow. I will finish it though. You crack me up.

I have a 3rd grade boy. No imagination required. I live it every day.

sorry you're just now having lunch. :guilty:

I cant get my pictures up yet!!

My feet are still swollen, but other than that - what Melinda says!! Where are my fresh towels? Oh and an ice machine would help - dh every night would fill bags with ice to put on my swollen feetsies - last night he said "wow, what will I do w/o an ice machine?" I said, "use the ice paks in the freezer!" :rotfl2:

ah well!!

I also much appreciated the tea - dd and I had done BBB earlier - so my "hair" is still in a BBB updo!! DD enjoyed working on the bracelets, it helped keep her mind occupied - she did great on the plane -

gotta run... dinner, dh, dd... all overwhelming! interuptions...

Well I didn't get anything accomplished today. Except, I did mow this afternoon and cook dinner and bake a banana sour cream cake with homemade icing. But other than that nothing. Chad came home from work early. He was supposed to have a rough in to do today, it wasn't ready so he had to go back out to the Indian reservation to work. Which he didn't feel like doing. So he just took a day. We ran some errands and took the boys to the park. Now tomorrow I have even MORE laundry to do plus I should double up on some school. Oh well. It was nice having him home.

Twinkie - Did you get your ironing done?

Welcome home to everyone wandering in.

Went back to work today, BLECHH:sick: I could not have been Less motivated. Nothing to eat in the cafeteria (big surprise, huh!) I had a partial bag of Doritos for lunch and just had a partial can of mini-ravioli for dinner.

I told hubby I don't won't to work anymore. He said, well, if you want to you can quit. But what would you do with your time. I said I don't know, I have given it a lot of thought, but haven't come up with anything yet. (Other than moving to the Villages, but that is a ways away, and I don;t want to move while the kids are still around. Plus I dont have enough time in to get any decent retirement yet. So we agreed to hang in for 5 more years.

DVC split and Year-end tomorrow and this week. I need a VACATION!

evening you all.......I stayed home today and made an apple pie, did three loads of laundry, and then made brownies for the afternoon rug rats so I would not have to share my apple pie......hey it was for hubby....I used that George Grill again today and it works really good.......Didnt want to go out and freeze while I grilled the chicken.......I really like that thing....Megara tried to steal the food off hubbies plate and I yelled at her to get her feet off my kitchen table....she knew what I meant.....and her feet were down....
Kaitlynn emailed me and she got a score last night in dorm against dorm soccer..she was very excited...but her lungs hurt because it was freezing out.....she also got her big exam back in chemistry....she got a 96.5 SO she is happy tonight.....she will be home this weekend for three days......but will go to work at the vets...

I love to see you all in those photos.....they are the ultimate cause i saw some of you in the flesh and I know you now......not a FIGMENT of my IMAGINATION....gotta love that phrase......
have a good night you all:grouphug:

I do love that phrase. And Figment at the old Imagination Pavillion back in the day before it was a big kodak commericial without the cool upstairs.

That sounds like a lot to me MP! I did get my ironing done:banana: and one load of laundry (that is all I needed to do cause I was a laundry fiend over the weekend) and went to the Walmarts and worked on reading skills with my twins and sewed on a button and ironed on patches to uniforms AND cooked dinner AND cleaned up the kitchen afterwards. A two banana day for sure!

I hear ya! :goodvibes

You know- just having the option would make work a lot more tolerable to me. :thumbsup2

The dis tells me I need to use at least one character???????

Very productive day, Twinkie!

Well, it's not really an option, as I would have to find another job, which would probably pay a fraction of what I make now. But, it's out there..... I could alway go back to being a cashier at Publix....... 3 miles max to work., save a ton on gas, no stress! Or I could go work for H&R block, but doing tax returns sounds like stress to me, I hate doing my own. Plus it would mean not paying in to 401K for 5 years.
My retirement income doubles in 5 years from what it would be now. so it's really not a very desirable option.

But your 3rd grade boy is all sweetness and nice just like his mama, I'm sure. Right? RIGHT??? :rolleyes1

p.s. Shocking that somthing dealing with food would catch your attention and get me some sympathy. :rotfl:

to add an apostrophe and an e
Not to add commas????

Glad to hear she ended up doing fine, Sandy. Goog news! :cheer2:

Nada en el mousketeria. Por que?

My best friend Eren worked at the Figment ride for 6 months and even she admitted that it sucks.

How is everyone tonight? I'm multitasking by writing observations I never really did and DISing at the same time.

The saddest thing is..... 25 years ago when epcot opened (and you were not yet a twinkle in your daddy's eye) that pavillion was REALLY COOL.
There was a whole upstairs with all this neat interactive stuff. They had all these green screens with CMs and you could be in a cartoon.

It is quiet here. I think DH just put everyone to bed. Grasshopper is stretching and kicking. My stomach hurts from the inside- but it is still lots of fun.

I remember those kicks (and feet under the ribs), yes, it was lots of fun.

Today was the 25th anniversary of Epcot opening. I was there, standing in front of the big ball, on a wall, holding balloons, while speeches were being made and entertainment went on. Now, had I been any smarter back then, I could probably just have been in the audience to observe, since I was supervisor in charge of putting Epcot on the books. But NOOOO, I didn't know to ask, so I donned a costume (something spacey looking in shiny blue I think) and stood there holding balloons!

I assume the balloons got released, but I dont remember that part. I do remember getting smashed at the preopening party for management with unlimited alcohol (those were the days!) around everywhere, and food of course and entertainment. It was raining that night, we had a big red umbrella, and I got SMASHED! Goog thing hubby was sober.

Well then what on earth did they go changing it for?
p.s. I think that should be my signature smiley.
p.p.s. say hi to Grasshopper for me.

Nein, ich verstehe nicht.

But my guess is that it means the mouseketerias suck. Some worse than others (mine sucks big time).
Except the ones where the executives eat, of course!!!!!!!!

Another piece of disney history: Once upon a time, Disney operated the employee cafeterias. Life was goog! Then it was outsourced to Aramark, not so good, but tolerable. Then someone came up with this brilliant idea of "Express" or whatever it is called, I forget. So now there are no hot lunches except for grill, and the cooler and freezer, which most of the time are half empty. And to go anywhere of property would take well over an hour.

Now in the executive buildings, you get a choice of at least 3 hot meals with meat, veggies, etc, pizza, calzones, made to order Boars head sandwiches with tons of choices of bread and toppings, salad bar, grill, soup station, blah blah blah.....

OK, I better shut up, my mood is not so good tonight, sorry.

And where is Moo tonight??????

I don't mind your talking. Nope nope nope, not a bit!!! Our Mouseketeria at the Contemporary wasn't all bad but it wasn't so great either. They would give us certificates to eat there from time to time so that's when I would go. I never spent my own money there. They had pizza. You can't really mess up pizza too bad.

Contermp is one of the better of the bad ones, LOL. We have pizza once in a while, if you are lucky enough to get there when they are fresh and havent been sitting under a heat lamp for 30 minutes, and they have the toppings you want.

I should shut up for tonight........ DVC split tomorrow, I love my work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree about the food under the heat lamps. They'd always try to trick us into eating the carp that had been sitting under heat lamps on the buffet all night. No thanks. It's really time for me to be productive. Night, Marita. Enjoy your work that you love!
