Got it. I am a fan of snow. I like walking in it, playing in it, sledding in it. I don't, however, like shoveling it.

:rotfl: Okay, now that's funny! Did you say Lauren or PJ?

Well now, that equals vacation time in snow, doesnt it?

I said PJ. She (elderly seating hostess) said: But I have only worked here for 2 years:rotfl:

Hi Moo,

I totally understand the sentiment about wanting to go home, and I did not even leave home, LOL (or may that is why?). It was great meeting so many wonderful people, just wish I had not missed MommyP, Nebo and Smigy. I met Sher and HaleyB last year.

I dread going back to work tomorrow..........

Oh, I saw an article in the paper today, 18,000 workers in Michigan told not to come to work Monday. Hope it won't last, Moo:hug:

It's kinda embarrassing being from here right now. Just crazy.

What is embarassingm MOny?

Oh, the Michingan thing. Yeah, I know, Moo is impacted by that. Luckilly she already had a vacation day for Monday. Hope it gets sorted out soon. Or switch to being a prison guard.

anyone feeling chat worthy?

Hi Steph, stop in more often, tell us what's happening. Going to DVC soon?

Nope, not until June.... *sigh*

I really need to sit in the Tambu lounge and suck down a Lapu Lapu. Oh well.

Still waiting for my cards and deed to show up.

I think she said P.J. and the person just said they only worked there for two years....:lmao:

I don't know if it was because we were rushed and we were going the to the Halloween party or what but Chef Mickey's wasn't my favourite, sorry. I did get a picture of Marita twilling her napkin and can remember her saying she didn't know why we were doing it.....:rotfl:
:rotfl:
So tonight we have established that my sister and me aren't actually Hollywood and PJ. Sorry to disillusion all of you so. You were twirling your napkin because it's part of a celebration that takes place every 45 minutes. Count how many times that is during an 8 hour shift.

Well now, that equals vacation time in snow, doesnt it?

I said PJ. She (elderly seating hostess) said: But I have only worked here for 2 years:rotfl:
Was her name Ellen?

'Sup, Twinkie?

I'm heading to bed. Almost time for Monday morning. :sad2:

No idea what her name was. But they were very accommodating. I showed up 5 minutes late, scanned the lines, no sign of my party, They said, can we help you? Well, yes I am looking for my party.
What is the last name? Umm, I have no idea!
What is the the party size?
About 10?
A first name?
Yes, Amber!

Oh, section such and such

If you were a party of 10 or more you were discussed at the pre meal including whether you had any birthdays, special requests or needs, where they wanted to seat you, etc. So, once you said party of 10 they should have known zackly who you were lookin for!

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

Well, I see the flag was flying last night just about the time I was hispering "If you don't sit down and finish this homework right now I'm gonna...."

Yep! Oh joy!

Here are 10 reasons I'm sorry to be home....

1. I had to make my own bed yesterday.
2. I had to actually purchase food yesterday with my own money and prepare it myself!
3. No one brought clean towels and hung them in my bathroom yesterday.
4. I will have to wait a whole year for strawberry swirls and cinnamon almonds.
5. I have to type instead of actually talking to my online friends.
6. Splash Mountain is 800 miles away.
7. I have to start eating healthy and exercising again.
8. I woke up at 5am to clean up more doggy poop this morning.
9. Work and laundry!
10. All the pools are closed!

Well....now I feel better. Back to reality....

PJ! You mean Hollywood's name isn't really Hollywood!? But does she answer to it? Can Disney tell her what to wear when she's not working? :scared:

NAB....I think I could live in Florida. It's just as darn hot and humid here as it is there! The kids had their eye on a nice home over off SR429 as we were leaving Disney property.

Moo....I can't believe Sher found Nebo and Smidgy without the use of a cell phone! She does have mad skillz! Wish I could've met her!

Lynette, Lil G, DTD...:wave2:

Where's Poly? :confused3

HAVE A GOOG DAY EVERYONE!

Goog morning, Sunshines!

gm12.jpg

Pretty much no one tells Hollywood what to do most of the time. So no, when she's not working, they're not telling her what to wear!

Have a goog Monday. :sad2:

I did get to meet MommyP at MK on Friday also. DD and I went over for just an hour-ish on Friday to ride a coupla things and I called MommyP and we set a meet spot.....but.....I didn't know that MommyP had a posse! I'm so sorry to make your whole party wait so I could come over to say hi, MommyP! It may have been the shortest meet ever but I would like to confirm that the MommyP family if just as cute, sweet, and friendly as they can be. And those lil pirate boys.....I just wanted to pinch their cheeks...so adorable!

It was so goog to meet you! Don't worry about my "posse" they were along for the ride. They knew that I had plans to meet people when they asked if they could come along. Without me they wouldn't have been able to get from the parking lot to the gates. ;) So they pretty much had to stop everytime I did. Besides we weren't waiting, we had just walked up.

Nab, Moo and Celery - I'm so glad we got to meet! I was surprised by how talkative Nab was and Celery was more quiet! I'm also surprised that I was able to feel comfortable and make conversation! Yay me! :woohoo:

Marita - I can't believe we didn't get to see eachother! You missed a great show on Saturday night!!

We had a great time at the party Friday night. We got there about 30 minutes behind schedule, but i over estimated on wait times so we caught up with it. The only thing we didn't get to ride that was on the schedule was The Jungle Cruise. We met up with Luther first. She is so sweet! Then we went to Priates, which had like a 5 minute wait. When we got off, my brother, Jeremiah, Seth, Ethan and I went to get the stroller and were pulled aside by some of the Pirate CM's out front. We got to do the whole backstage entry and guides tour of the ride treasure hunt with them. It was cool.

At the parade Ethan got tons of attention from the characters which he ate up! Barbosa came right up to him and shook his hand. I can't remember what he said though.

Saturday at Epcot we all went to Soarin and when we came off(Chad sat out with Ethan and Kaleb) Ethan was freaking out with happiness and said he was tall enough to go on. Which I am not sure how. 3 weeks ago he went to WIC and was measured and was only 37 or 38in. :confused3 So Chad and I took him back on with the child swap and I sent the rest of the group to Living with the Land. Ethan loved it, but was a little afraid at times. He doesn't seem to be a ride lover.

I got a little stressed out in WS. Leading a group is really hard. They never looked ahead and said what they would like to do, so I kept feeling really stressed because I felt like I was just making them do what I wanted to do. Plus they walk SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow! A 7 month pregnant woman should NOT be walking ahead of them by like 5-10 feet!

It got worse at MGM. First it POURED rain while we were on the Backlot tour. Which ended up not mattering too much because half our group was completely soaked from the Catastrophe Canyon part. Everyone just seemed slow and cranky, especially Chad. He got short with me one time and that was all it took to get the water works going. I hate that about being pregnant. I cannot control my emotions at all. So I sat down outside the ABC place(to eat) and he calmed me down and then told everyone else how I was feeling and they shaped up. ;) It was 6:50 by then and they were all hungry. The only place open anymore to eat was that nasty ABC place. Gross. :sad2:

After bathroom breaks and eating we didn't get to Fantasmic until 7:40. We got good seats, but since we were so late I wasn't able to meet up with anyone before the lights went out.

Wendy called me after the show, the reception was horrible, but I got parts of the conversation. I was so bummed that I wasn't going to be able to meet her. But when we came out of the theater she was waiting there. I didn't see her or here her calling my name. Thankfully someone in my family did! She is so sweet! Thanks for waiting, Wendy! Norah is so CUTE!

Then I ran into Moo and Celery again before we left.

Yesterday morning just Chad, myself and the kids(plus my brother) went to Downtown Disney. Everyone else went home. The weather was AMAZING! Nicest day yet. Of course when we got home it was no longer nice.
We left at 1 and that was that.

We had a goog time.

Our construction meeting went well on Friday. We should be closing within 2 weeks. We do have to provide our own builders insurance. The goverenment program we're getting our loan through makes you do that in case the builder drops his insurance sometime in the process. I'm not sure how much that's going to cost us. But since we didn't know about it ahead of time it's going to have to go on the CC until our tax return. Can't save up several hundred dollars in less than 2 weeks time. Plus even though we are getting 40,000 for closing costs and down payment they only alloted $4,000 for closing costs, anything over that is out of our pocket. When we closed on our house years ago our closing costs were $5,000. He swears up and down that it won't be more than $4,000. I hope he is right.

The best thing is our payment is going to be around $820 a month! (Including taxes and insurance) that's $100 less than we are paying now. Plus with work so slow and the fear of Chad's job not being there anymore we have the added bonus that if he has to go to a lesser paying job they will lower our payment accordingly. :yay: That is SO much stress off our backs. :dance3:

We will hopefully be able to get ahold of our insurance agent today and set up an appointment to get that insurance and find out how much it is. We also have to get into town and pick up some paperwork and a movie to watch for SHIP. We are required to take a first home owners class(there aren't any until Nov. 10th.) so we are being allowed to watch the movie and fill out the paperwork instead. Thank goodness!

I have lots of laundry to fold today and school. All the boys are still sleeping! That is amazing for this house.

Have a goog day everyone!

Morning.

Coming home to reality stinks. Hope the adjustment goes goog.

It's Monday. Back to work everyone!

morning everyone.

I had a bad charlie horse in my leg in the middle of the night.......I almost cried out loud ....well I did and scared megara and hubby says whats up....
Its because I have not been MOOING those legs since we got back from Disney...they sort of pooped out....
I dont think I could handle September in Disney again......the humidity was more then I could handle at times.....we would walk into and out of stores and restaurants just to take a breathe of air......pretty bad for us northerners....
Our granddaughter emailed us and told us that she played intermural soccer last night and got the only score.......but the cold air hurt her lungs........it was in the 90s last week and now it is freezing......when she comes home next weekend for fall break she will take back some winter items.......hahaha.....
See ya later gators

So I am rereading Twinkie trippie from 2006 tonight, which was actually in 2000 I think

Awww. Thanks for re-reading Marita. You are so nice. And yes- I did 'meet' a lot of you over there. What fun to remember! The funny thing is that Goldenchild was the baby while I was writing that- and now he is so big and a new baby is on the way.

'Sup, Twinkie?

Nothing much PJ. I saw all the lights were on the the s-l-o-w-ness of the internet made me think we should be chatting. Sorry you had technical difficulities. However I am laughing about how no one at Chef Mickeys knew PJ. :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Too funny Lexi! Thanks for sharing. I love your reasons. Whenever we come home, DH comes up to me at some point and says "I would like to use a snack credit about now." I know those feelings.

MP-Great recap!!!! Also exciting news on the house.

Ok Meeps- keep the meet stories coming. Some of us are trying to live vicariously through you all.

Morning all,

It is a nice fall day here, not cold or hot. Just right.

Lexi -- you are so right on the reality thing. No one wanted to get up this morning because after all we weren't catching a bus to Magic Kingdom. And your such a skinny little thing you could ease into the exercise.

Mommy P -- is just a little thing too!! With a basketball under her shirt. The boys were so cute and well behaved. They all have big beautiful eyes and brush cuts. They didn't say anything just looked at us strange people and smiled.

Off to put a load of laundry in and then I will post a picture...

These were all taken at the Tea on Wed.

I was really late and Celery called me while I was on a bus to MK. I had to go back and get their bags. My mistake was not taking them with me in the morning when I was already at MK. I was afraid the smarties would be mush and the guard checking bags makes you open each bag. That is what happened when I had Pumba's and Wendy's on Sunday.

My kids were really cute at the tea. They sat with Sandy and her dd. And Celery's mom. They had chocolate milk in their tea pot. Nicholas used the tea strainer thing to strain his chocolate milk. Too funny. They loved it and were very well behaved and didn't say they were bored once.

We just chatted like we do in chat. It was pretty easy going. I had an adr at O'Hana's and thought I would walk over from there. We got lost and ended up behind some building of the Poly. They do have dumpters back there....:lmao: . I should have stayed on the beach but we followed a path when we got to Frank's bridal building that lead us were the workers go. Oops. Some nice man helped me get back on track.

I can see why people like the Poly....just beautiful grounds.

Celery and Tammy they loved the autograph books and all the other stuff you gave them. Thanks so much.

Sandy-- the bracelets thoughtfull too and the tinkerbell diary. And I don't have to tell you how happy Nicholas was with the Pokeman cards.

Moo-- thanks so much for the Michigan stuff. The pencils went to school this morning.

 gang.

I read a bunch of your TR Twinkie. It was really goog!!!:thumbsup2 I promise to finish it soon.

Welcome back Nab. Thanks for sharing the pics. Your kids are absolutely adorable.:goodvibes

MommyP: Glad you had a nice trip to the world, even though a few tears were shed. Isn't that your right as a pregnant woman to be tearful at times? Absofrigginlutely.

Have a great day. I'll check back later.
