Pumba, my TV is HUGE too, wouldnt be so bad if it were not also 21/2 feet or more deep!

OK, gotta go eat

OK, my son told me how to transfer the pics to the pc. And I got them there. But then I tried for an hour to upload them to photobucket, it would not open, transfer to disc, disc full, IE told me it might be a counterfit copy (:confused3 ), almost logged into work to try to upload, but then I gave up. We have Mozilla on the desktop, I hate it, mostly cause I get lost. ANd do I use Mozilla or Mozilla firefox? I attempted to ask DD who answered with "I dont have time" and now is gone somewhere........ SIGH!

Thanks for all the well wishes, everyone, it must have worked! My evaluation went really, really well! I called my aunt tonight and I was like "OMGosh, I just have to tell you everything she (my evaluator) said!" and my aunt said "tell it to me in a way you would normally only tell a mom, I want to hear all the bragging about you!" hee hee hee. Gotta love her! The woman who evaluated me was very nice and not scary at all and she gave me a lot of helpful feedback. It was actually a very positive experience.

Glad to hear the tea went well. That sounds so nice. Fancy! Do you have to drink tea with one little finger up? Isn't that the rule? Hope to see some pictures if you ever get past your computer woes, Marita.

WOOHOO, congrats, PJ!

I dont think a single pinkie was raised though! I might try again tomorrow.

I mean the pics, not the pinkie raising.

GOOG MORNING, SUNSHINES!!!! Wake up, sleepyheads! Here, have an elephant sitting down to breakfast. Because that makes perfect sense. :confused3

Marita: why not try both again today?

Happy Thursday, all!

Moovers!

..noooooo, some things require good old
fashioned....one on one, introjections not injections...meds, can
only support..a recovery....they are never a "recovery" by
themsleves...sorry, there is no pill, that can cure problems,
* without corrective measures..& resolving ineffective coping...

LilG: If that's not a powerful statement, I don't know what is. Some of my coworkers and I were just discussing antidepressants yesterday at work. We all agreed that we are cut out to be babynurses and not psych nurses. However, as you know, we have to wear our psych nurse hat from time to time. You have definitely found your niche in life.:thumbsup2

Thank goodness it's raining here. We definitely needed it. One of the farmers down the road has a little pond that ducks were always swimming around in. When I drove by a few days ago, it had dried up, and the ducks were just gathered around the side of it with a "What do we do now?" look on their little ducky faces. Maybe after all this rain, there will be enough water for a shallow pond.

Parent teacher conferences for the little boys today. They did really well on their report cards, 'cept the redhead had a few things marked like: needs to keep hands to his self, color neatly (b/c that is a life skill you can't live without), and there may or may not have been the words "full of energy" written somewhere:rolleyes1

When I talked to him about keeping his hands to himself, he replied "But mom, my hands are stuck to my arms. I can't take them off, so they ARE to myself"
Sounds logical to me.:rotfl: Apparently, he likes to see what the other kids are working on, so he will pick up their paper and compare notes. I told him that is not keeping his hands to himself. And his reply was "But I'm just curious about things, and kids like me, so they share." Sounds logical to me.:rotfl:

We shall see what the teacher says today. I really like both of their teachers, and the school has such a great family feel to it, and it helps that we know the principal on a social level. Ya know just in case the coloring outside of the lines, full of energy, paper grabbing redhead causes anymore "problems";)

I forgot to add before I left that Homer the other Beta died before we left.....I was kinda glad that it expired before I brought the little tank next door for them to watch him...hahha......it would of been to much for little Jacob to babysit my fish when he was on his last leg.......I mean last fin...
Sorry your fishie died, Pumba but I agree - much better to do it before a little one is given the responsibility.

Okay. What is give kids the world? I had no idea you were going on vacation and going to be doing other things.
It's a resort for kids with life threatening illnesses and their families. it's completely free for them and they get a week at the resort, airfare, free park tickets, food, etc plus a lot of other stuff. Most of the work is done by volunteers. one of the wish families (a lot come from make a wish) wrote a trip report about their week - I'll see if I can find the link later.

Me: so can you do it for me?

She: NO, I have to write a paper!!!!!

So, ya'll have to wait!!!!
I was going to upload my mom's, but the connector I have doesn't work with her camera! sorry!

Just a quick "drive by" to say I am glad the Moovers had a delightful tea.
Glad things are good with work, even if it is only temporary. Are you just working on a contract basis?

I have not clue, Marita - I don't know what mozilla is. when I use photobucket, I just make sure the pics are somewhere I can find them, like on the desktop. :confused3

Does this quote make anyone else envision this child as a redheaded, male version of his mom? Anyone? :rolleyes1

Cel, those pics are adorable! Hope you guys are living it up down there!
