2. p.s. Last night at the silent action I went to there was a raffle. There were a few prizes, some of which I would have thoroughly enjoyed. Guess what I won? Tickets to a Bengals game. Could they have gone to a less deserving person?

*yawn,,, someone say "nap" <warning the next paragraph makes little sense...> (thought I should warn you, I tried to fix it, I'm just not sure how!!! LOL Melinda didnt follow us until after we left Dinosaur area!

Dh didnt really have a meltdown, it was DD, dh thought I should stay with the girls and he would do whatever DD wanted to do - I just didnt believe that for a second, so I followed dh, then Melinda followed us - then my foot hurt so bad, I just wanted to go back to Pop - so after an awesome Safari ride (we didnt quite make the 2 week tour) we learned about the birds - no bees at flights of wonder... it could make it interesting... dd wanted to shop so dh and I could ride EE together... alone... awwwww... Man that ride goes fast. Well, I was spent, beyond spent, I didnt take the knee brace and forgot about the hills and dents in the roadway of AK - good thing I can lean on dh!! Melinda called "where are you" In a shop - we'll head back to pop "Sandy, you have to come over to Flame tree, Marita Moo and Nab want to meet you" dh, "I told you to go with your friends - come on, lean on me, we'll find them" so we wandered around... where are they? "here dd listen for a phone to ring' I call Melinda, and tada - we found them - gave Marita a quick hug, tried to hug Moo, was afraid if I bent over to far, I wouldnt get up again...

so we left.. go to the bus stop and BAM one black rain cloud opened up!! The bus came, and only 2 other familes got on... halfway to pop I noticed the riviting conversation I was having was pretty one sided - so I grabbed a camera and moved across the way to capture the most beautiful picture - and I made the strangers in the back of the bus NOT to tell!! (DH and DD were leaning on each other fast asleep - hey, how does slow asleep look?)

Got to Pop grabbed a fast lunch, barely made it thru 1/2 sandwich, and *snore, my turn... one hour later the alarms went off and we woke freezing - there was still rain, but it was COLD - and we were embarrassed, coming from the cold frozen almost north, not quite as fur as Nab - we should be able to handle it.. nope... I wore pants... and a lime green shirt...

and on to Ohana. Uma said they did indeed make it to Nemo and somehow ditched the Moos, not sure tho, maybe the Moos made a quick speedy get away while the getting was good... they did turn up at the Ohana dinner, so we must've been ok then!!

Aries and her dh and dd were the bestest Hosts of the Party - Mr Major Aries surprised Uma for her 40th bday with a cake - the fancy scmancy hula lady kept saying it was Uma's 21st bday, at the end of the party she came to reassure Uma she would never embarrass a woman like that - she didnt look a day over 40! It must've been the flirtin the Mr Major was doing.

Lots of food was eaten, all the salad bowls were empyt - seriously... surprised us too - of course Norah helped tremendously... so precious. I think she has a crush on my dh tho - I may have to fight her for him!! He taught her to thumb wrestle - we all know what that means - no peace for the Uma family now! Norah will crush those boys!! I brought old Pokeman cards to entertain the Uma boys, apparently they are worthless (probably why my boys left them behind! ) oh well, I hope Nab's son doesnt mind if I give him a stack of worthless Pokeman cards... but that story isnt until Tuesday.

After dinner, I hit the monorail to MK - dh took dd on BTRR (how many times can you ride that ride?) and I got on the pop bus. I took a nap, dh called to let me know he's stuck on Small World - he wanted to share... "It's a world of hope, and a world of fear...there's so much that we share that its time we're aware... its a small world after all" ITS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL - its stuck, definately ... or is that indefinately...

Well, celery its not just you, Nab also declared I'm nothing like I am online. I truly apolgize - I hope to have my game face on by Tuesday - there'll be no stopping me!!

I can't talk in person either, I am more of a listerner, strike that I am a listener, unless it comes to posting online, where I post stupid things.

Your DD is so precious, I am sorry I disappoiinted her with the pin thing, I could have brought her some if I had known. I actually do have a lanyard from about 3 years ago stuffed in a drawer, but since I dont ever work with the public, I never wear it, plus it's the old color lanyard that is now out of style (against the rules)
How many ways are there to waste money? You have to change lanyard colors for thousands of people for a new marketing campaing? Who would never notice or care?

I am sooo sad that I missed my big phone call- I didn't even hear my phone ring!

Everyone sounded so happy-I really wish I was there!

GOOD MORNING SUNSHINES!! Wake up sleepy heads - now why did you move that ole jangly clock so far away from the bed? (I'm hearing a song in my head!!)

Today we dine with the Princesses!! From the looks of things - everybody will be in EPCOT this morning!! Look out crowds, we wont do rope drop or hit any of the attractions right due to breakfast of Princesses - goog thing we're in Disney or I might be getting upset!!
Uma family may be trying to have lunch with the fishes, - strike that - I checked she's the smart one today heading to MGM - she'll have bragging rights on the low crowds (no oone is going to mgm - no little one concert like they planned! No rnr) I think the Garden Grill lunch got cancelled, cant confirm that tho... word is Nab may try and hit Epcot..Not sure if the whispering canyon is an am or pm thing - by the looks of it, its going to be a long night!!

Goog thing, still have internet access thanks to dh's work - he has to get a conference call in sometime today tho!

Marita, I had no idea she was going to ask that - duh me huh? I thought she wanted to know where you worked, she thought it was cool you were on vacation - and picked DISNEYWORLD - I thought she was going to ask you that!! Be careful around Wendy if you're bringing pins!! lol

Sorry I missed saying,"goog bye" to everyone!! It's always hit or miss for me on the weekends.

Thanks for all the updates! I am so sad I can't be there. Yesterday on the way home from church I said to Chad, "Everyone is meeting at AK for lunch right now". I think he grunted.

So no vacation for me. It's on to laundry and school. Hopefully it will be sunny for a couple hours this morning so I can get outside and get some more tan before this weekend. All summer we haven't had a drop of rain and NOW it's pouring all the time. I'm glad to hear the weather has been more normal in Orlando. It has been a rainy mess here for like a week and calling for it all this week too.

We meet with our builder and the mortgage people on Friday morning before we head north. Can't wait to get that step out of the way and move on to closing.

I need to get the boys change all counted and put in those little money sleeves and get their costumes made this week too. But today hopefully I can get outside before the clouds!

well, anthony had like the best birthday ever! he's at disney world, he keeps getting gifts tossed at him, he got to ride dinosaur and everest on his birthday, he got to go swimming twice.
he had fun.

today it's off to mgm. eventually. when everyone else wakes up.
I had to check and see if the little ones concert was today - cuz Jeanie has to wear her special train outfit to go see choo choo soul. I guess it'll be saturday instead.


sandy - glad your husband wasn't upset - I could see worry lines in his eyes, so I guess it was about dd, not you!

and I completely expected marita to be quiet - she had said in the past that she was -

I just expected nab to be quiet too, and sandy to be talkative -
but it's like they switch personalities when they're online -
sandy's kinda quiet and nab is VERY talkative.
so is nicholas.
hannah is quiet though.
and utah's kids are exactly like you would expect - pretty much the way she describes them, although Jordan is something of a charmer.
she didn't mention that.

good morning!

I had a rough night last night. Goldenchild woke up crying a couple of times

and then I woke up at midnight thrity having contractions

of course my mind goes to worst case scenarios
of course DH is out of town and I don't know who I could call at midnight anyways
and logically I know they will go away soon but I was still scared


I decide to go downstairs and get some ice water to try to see if that will help

and lights are on that I rememeber turning off. So I have to search the house for bad guys and discover I didn't lock one door and the garage door is open but I am pretty sure that while I turned off that light some other switch must also turn it on from another room. We are still figuring out stuff about our house- lots of half hot switches.

So I had a hard time getting back to sleep. The ice water did work however.

Ok- time to start my exciting day of taking kids to sports, laundry, and ironing. Whohoo.

We had a nice weekend. My husband was actually off for a change and we got some stuff done around here. Yesterday was football and my team, the Eagles ,crushed the Tigers. Might have been those ugly throwback uniforms.

My husband's union has called for a strike at 11 AM today if things don't get ironed out with the contract.

Well...my husband's union officially declared a strike today. He's still sleeping,so hopefully the contract can get squared away and he'll never knew what happened.

I'm supposed to get my stitches out in the morning,so I'd better call the office later and see if we're covered or not.

keep your fingers crossed that this mess gets settled soon.
