You actually do your papers? There's an idea. Maybe I'll try that sometime. Nah, I'm close to graduation, no point in taking that up now.

Thanks for the song, Marita. Are you channeling the babynurse?

no, I am channeling myself. Actually, I would hire someone if I could find someone! I tried to get a qoute from Merry Maids twice, filling out a very lengthy questionaire, and I got back, We will have to send someone to your house?
WTH?????????? Then why did you make me fill out a 30 minute request for an estimate??

My mom had a woman come once a week since I was little. I knew cleaning from followiing them around and listening to stories. Not that MOM was lazy, we had a business, she was busy with that. I had a niece in law that came and cleaned for a while, that was loverly. But also many years ago.

Anybody want to volunteer? I'll pay goog money!!!!!!!!!!

I like cleaning. I live in Ohio though....

Hubby came home and turned on his newish 42" plasma TV. No picture
then no sound.

He asked "did you or DD turn it on today?"

NO, DH!

he fiddled around for awhile, unplugged and replugged some things and got it to work again.

Crises avoided!

pj - If you move here, I might pay you to clean. Maybe.

argh.
My meeting is done.
should I run away home?
I think I will.

Yikes. That could have gotten ugly.

Run far, stay long.

I just got a visit from my downstairs roommates that I called the police on last night. Needless to say they were not happy. Not my problem!!!

Twinkie thanks you for that useful post UtahMama.

I had a flashback to my school days and an alleged meat product by the name of "chuckwagon":scared:

Suffice it to say that it could be both chicken and steak. And veal.

That just reminded to me of the old 80's movie (old!) Meatballs about a camp for kids and over the speakers you hear Bill Murray (?) say..."And the winner of today's mystery meat contest was ____ who guessed "some kind of beef""!

UMA-- what is cola cake? Never heard of that one before. And like everyone else said you don't look like your 40!!

I was at the mall and the fire alarm went off. Funny how people still go about there business like nothing is happening. They even announced what it was, I didn't see any smoke but I didn't hang around. Beside that alarm was hard on the ears. Did see some cute fireman outside the entrance though. They didnt' seem to be rushing anywhere either.

Some one should tell Old Navy that there XXL is more like a large if that.... I bought a black t-shirt with a cat on it, I really wanted the orange one with the pumpkins but it was long sleeve. Too hot for Florida Marita would say. Even asked if they made men's Halloween shirts or just an orange one , nope just sweaters. :sad2:

It's a very good chocolate cake that uses coca cola as an ingredient. I've gone all the way to Cracker Barrel just to have 2 bites of this. Two bites is all I can take of this little gem! I swear it's better than any grandmother's chocolate cake!

Firemen!!!!

And Old Navy's XXL is a Juniors size. Their small is the equivalent to a 3T. I tend to look "busty" in Old Navy. :rolleyes1 and have a hard time actually breathing. Hmmmm? Busty vs. Able to Breathe...

Shopping at Old Navy makes me feel fat. I think their clothing runs small in general. I am also not fond of fire alarms but do not have a problem with firemen....

We had a fire drill at school the other day. But no firemen came. Isn't that kind of one of the points? To see how fast they can get there and to make sure we all get out quickly? I dunno.

Again...Firemen! If you look in Salt Lake as a fire truck goes by, they grow 'em very cute here. Feel free to move to Utah!

I'm having severe mood swings. I think I need a dose of disney.
argh.
I'm ok for a minute, then I get all grouchy.

I keep changing my mind about whether or not to go to the vestry meeting tonight.
The church didn't tell me about it until this morning.
I think I'lll wait and see what kind of mood I'm in.
You best not be all pissy in WDW, missy ;) . Ack, I totally understand. Not easy to "snap out of it" is it?

I know a fun joke you can play on him involving the removal of the remotes batteries...what for the big game though.

Gosh, everyone just seems to want me to move out by them! I must just be so sweet and nice. :cutie:

The lady at Old Navy said they were U.S sizes. You guys must be really tiny there.

P.J. -- I will not make you move near me. It is to darn cold here in the winter and I know you don't like cold.

Hannah is crying because she got invited to a birthday party when we will be away. Actually it is the day we get back and it is at Build a Bear. I wish the plane could drop us off at the mall. We will only make it home when the party is ending and that is if all goes on schedule. I told her she is going to Disney that is better then Build a Bear, it didn't work.

Celery-- are you home yet?

Marita -- sure you didn't do anything to the tv.....didn't you say you were going to watch the View.:lmao:

Back from the zoo.

So cool too. They have a viewing platform they recently built by the Giraffes and you can feed them. I let Mal do it. So cute. Did you know that giraffes have 20 inch tongues? And they are black?

I'll post downstairs later with pictures.

Steaks for dinner. Brocolli and rice with wild mushrooms and crescent rolls.

Celery -- who does homework on a Friday night.

It is really blowing up a storm out there right now. Hope my power stays on.

Hubby just took Nicholas to his first youth dance at the church. That should be interesting to see if he liked it. I never went to a dance until I was in grade 7 now they can go in grade 5.

Mony-- I did know that giraffes had black tongues. Not sure why I know this. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Hannah's wants to do smiles:

princess: :flower3:  :tinker: :donald: :mickeybar :tink: :mickeyjum :butterfly pooh: :earboy2: :dogdance: :sunny:

Cool! I like the Giraffe exhibit at the Hogle Zoo here in Salt Lake. 20 inches, eh? I think it's to reach far off leaves? How handy! God made giraffes so cool, except for the 6 foot drop at birth!

My dinner choices are the same as last night's posted choices. Maybe I'll be a "Dollar Menu-naire" tonight! Or Eggo waffles? :guilty:

nabbers - people about to leave for WDW for almost two weeks and don't wanna do too much homework while there do homework on friday nights!!!

and I got my paper done!

woo!

mony - I'd like to see a giraffe tongue as long as it wasn't close enough to touch me! :scared:
