Steak, and summer squash and zucchini all grilled with salad.
Another reason I love summer…. I barely cook bc DH does the grilling.

We had seabass and scup I caught today while fishing with my parents off the coast of Martha's Vineyard. I breaded and lightly fried it. I served it with instant pot green beans and leftover eggplant rounds.

I had never heard of scup, so I looked it up. Sounds good. We'll have to look for it on a menu the next time were up north.

It's also sometimes called porgy. It's just a mild white fish. You definitely don't see it on menus even up here.

breakfast for dinner-dh pressure cooked corned beef last night for ruebens so we will hydrate some hash browns and make hash, fry some eggs and I put out some huckleberry bread to dry overnight for french toast.

Well you're most welcome to stop by but considering this is the fourth time I've gone fishing this summer and the first time we actually caught anything large enough to keep (and only 4 total fish at that), I wouldn't go booking a trip quite yet. Haha!

DH isn't feeling well, so it was another day of freezer & pantry diving. (He's the grocery shopper.)

Air fryer boneless pork chops, cheesy polenta & steamed mixed vegetables.
