PJ, welcome to life as an adult. We all go through this. Nobody to kiss the ****oos and make them go away.

But friends and virtual hugs and prayers and pixie dust sure help a lot!

So, another round of :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: and pixiedust:

Before you know it, you will be:drive: again and life will be a :beach:

but I dont remember enough about it to even google it

That man had 12 gazillion songs!

Anyway, it's all about life being up and down. And I can attest to that.

So you will be up again! :)

Can I give y ou a call? Send a pic???

DH finally was released from work - we're down to one car - so at 9 pm we visited super target - and we bought that frozen barilla pasta - YUMMM (it was featured on Top chef, so I had to try it!! :thumbsup2 )

also - dont get me started on Big Brother - I've been a huge fan since BB1 - this season has been so scripted the FCC or whatever claimed it was NOT a game show!! yes, there were (on the internet feeds) claims of predetermined outcomes of HOH etc!! I give up! (that's why Dick was allowed no encouraged to dump tea on Jen, why Eric was not booted when he first went up = produced = scripted) arrrg!

:welcome: mony!

 to the rest of the gang.

Catch up with y'all soon.

Yeah, we are collecting phone numbers of anyone who wants to participate in the meet by phone :sunny:

I think Celery is the main holder of phone numbers. But I'm sure they will be pooled.

If anyone has a certain provider where they get free member to member calls, we can probably coordinate so a person with the right service does the calling.

GOOG MORING AND TGIF PEOPLE!

ONE MORE WEEK! Yeah, Baby! :cool1: And I have not done one thing or lifting even a pinky to start getting ready for this trip! I KNOW! Sandy's already shipped a 30 pound box! I hope there's enough stuff for me in there too Sandy!

I ran out of time before I could post here yesterdee. Cuz you guys broke the DIS while I was asleep. But I tried to catch up a little bit.

PJ....It'll be OK...

Sandy....Can DD officially talk about the trip to your DD? Not sure what she can say?

Marita....I need some Ginko something too and a pad of post-it notes set up like a wrist watch with an attached ink pen. Are you really taking off the whole week to spend with your meeps? Do you have an itinerary or sumpn?

Twinkie...I love Malcomb in the Middle. The very first episode is possibly one of the funniest things I've ever seen where the mom is saving the dad's back hair in the opening scene! BTW...I LOVE brown! It's the new black ya know. Tell the lil Twinkies they're missing out. OH...and our school colors are red/black too!

NAB
....Teal, brown, black? Srsly?

Wendy....Your dinner choices sounds.....delicious! Yeah, that's it....delicious...and strangely familiar. Anyway...you just wear that birthday button every day at Disney and order WHATEVER you want on the menu!

Moo....Men in Skirts! 8 day jig! :yay: (OK I don't have the cute dancer!)

Monica....Are you new here?! Heh. :flower3: Welcome!

Celery.... :wave2: I promise to get back over and catch up on your trip report first thing in the morning!

MommyP....Chad sounds like the most wonderful husband ever. If my husband ever peeled a potato, I'd be suspicious of sumpn.

Pumba....You da best grandma evah!

Lil G.....What's up in the big OH?

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!

Morning. I'm taking the girls to the Detroit Zoo today. One son on the bus, one to go.

We had Parents Night last night. Both schools at the same time=one crazy mom. They had a scheduling goof. Or should I right goog?

UM: How was your birthday?

Can I give y ou a call? Send a pic???

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!

Well, it's my good friend Lexy. Hello, my name is monica and I'm new to moovin' along. This is my 5th post I think.

Actually there's a lot of familiar "faces" here.

Twinkie - I'm not cool with the non carbonated fruit punch glucola. It can't be goog. I like orange. It was just like super sweet orange soda, which I LOVE. (minus the super sweet.) It doesn't help to have to guzzle it down while I'm on the WAY to my appointment since we live so far out.

PJ - :grouphug: I hope things are looking better today. Sometimes life as a grown up can stink.

Marita - I think getting a anniversary button would be cool since you've been with WDW for 35 years!

Luthor - He IS the best husband ever. I had told him on the phone that we needed to go grocery shopping last night and he didn't sound too thrilled. He was like, "Can't you go tomorrow morning?" (I do not shop by myself in this heat while pregnant.) So when I did the shopping with my Mom on the way home from my appointment he was SOOOO happy. He peeled potatoes, helped cook and clean dinner(which he does most nights), gave me a bath AND a back rub and put the kids to bed while I was told to just lay down.

Today I have a ton of laundry, school, bathrooms to clean and brownies to make. We were invited to someones house for dinner. A family from church that we could do without getting to know better. HOPEFULLY it goes well. At least we'll have the brownies to look forward to.

What does everyone have planned for their weekends?

Chad's helping get the rest of my sister's furniture tomorrow. That's the extent of our plans.

I just read this - it makes little sense unless you can read my mind - sorry - I'm trying! I just talk too much

Gooog Mornin indeed!!!

Monica :thumbsup2 You've got it!!

Lexi I read your post aloud, dh said "yes and no" :rotfl: he spent 15 min talking to dd last night around 11 pm  DD popped up and said, "yes, let her tell me all!" :rotfl2: like what:rotfl2: :rotfl2: dh said 'how about generally talk about meeting etc - not dates - and then he asked if she knew about our surprises? (grand tea is a surprise, CP is ... and behind the scenes tours...) Ohana and Kona she doesnt know about, but I told her.. "you see this lovely precious - all these people I talk about are real, and they will be on the other side of the plane to cheer you, high five you!!"

(and it was 2 15# boxes :rotfl2: - the one I'm nervous getting there has all the glow sticks - over 100 - those necklace things are tall, wont fit in my luggage - and may not work - but I hated to throw them away!)

INGRID everyone collective pray and blow ingrid away from Florida please

dh needs to get on the bus (ie the mini van to school!)

MP- the fact that you don't have to fast for 18 hours trumps the flat fruit punch. They told me I had 10 min to drink it... so I didn't need to guzzle. I did feel kind of sick and woozy- mainly because they also had to take blood for another reason. No food + high on dextrose - blood = not goog! I have low blood pressure so I like to keep all my blood in my veins. Chad does sound marvelous.

Lexi- I thought fuschia was the new black?:confused3 As a ninja I think I will be sticking with the old black. I am not against brown... in fact I own a lovely pair of mushroom brown maternity capri pants. The little twinkies just happen not to own any brown right now. They had a growth spurt over the summer so everything that fits is summer colors: pink, purple, aqua, lemon-yellow etc. Of course we own black! I even bought a black t-shirt for grasshopper the other day.

Mony- goog = good not goof. In keeping with the thread title, spelling be darned, you will see lots of wIerd stuff like that. Mostly to make fun of me. :goodvibes

I still need milk after the megashopping yesterday. Turns out yet a different grocery store was having a special on milk and oj and I went to the one that was having the same special but only on oj. I don't really want to go. I have just minor amounts of laundry and I vacuumed yesterday. Surely this doesn't mean I have "free time"????

Marita....I need some Ginko something too and a pad of post-it notes set up like a wrist watch with an attached ink pen. Are you really taking off the whole week to spend with your meeps? Do you have an itinerary or sumpn?

HI, Lexi,

Yes, I have the whole week off, but I only have plans for parts of Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The rest of the time I will be vegging at home. (Hi Celery!)

Everyone, have a great Friday. I have today off, need to do some serious cleaning at home......

Gooooog Morning! Do I look any older to you guys?

We ended up having a very nice dinner at Cracker Barrel. Which we could barely afford since we had to put gas in the Suburban. Money from disney (in 8 days!). And it really was a nice day. No tangible gifts (except for Misty's sewing gift with diet Pepsi) but my kids were total angels pretty much the whole time...that's one gift I can appreciate. Oh, and the ladies at church delivered a totally scentless bag of pot pourri at the beginning ogf the month that I got a kick out of! I have a feeling all the ladies from church with September birthdays got scentless pot pourri that day

I chose Cracker Barrel because I wanted comfort food. Weird huh? Maybe I was missing my mama who lives in California? I chose the Chicken Fried Steak with sawmill gravy. Heavy and delicious! But I feel sooooo bloated on this "weigh-day" and will wait till later to weigh. ;) I got sugar free apple pie for desert since they didn't have coca cola cake (the one good use for coca cola). I told my family I'd wait to be sung to and have cake for when we're in wdw. The wait-staff at Cracker Barrel didn't seem like they'd deliver the Happy Birthday song as I enjoy most. :rolleyes1

Monica! I'm really glad to see you here! Welcome! It's against the rules to use spell check, but other than that, it's "home"!

Morning All,

It is going to be warm today ...:cool1:

I have been wearing my running shoes for the last few days and now I have a blister. I have only been wearing crocs all summer. Good thing it is now and not when I was gone. Thought I might need them for back up there, now I don't know what to do. Hannah told me it must be because my shoes are getting to small....:rotfl:

Martia-- you will not veg on the couch you will be here on the boards I'm sure...

Lexi-- Don't feel so bad I have not started packing yet either. Have in mind what I have to take though does that count. Hannah told me she is taking noodle straps on her shirt. Had no idea what she was talking about. Then it came to me she was talking about spaghetti strap tank tops. :lmao:

Twinkie-- I hear you on the milk. I had to run to the corner store last night so we had some for breakfast.

P.J.-- How are you this morning. Not sure what happened but you can have another hug anyway.

Mommy P-- I'm with Lexi if my hubby was doing anything in the kitchen, especially doing the dishes I would think something was up too....

Well I am off to the mall. Have to get a birthday card for my nephew who is turning 18 on Tues. He is also my Godchild and is in for a huge birthday surprise from us.

Uma, you don't look a day older than 25!

I'm off to clean the office. Computer man is coming tomorrow......

dh is packing - going camping with the adult Scout Leaders - training new adults to take care of the kids!! Drivin me crazy "honey, have you seen..."

:rotfl2:

Uma - you look very young!! BTW lasst night dh says his (mean,) sister's birthday is today... and I say, oh its Wendy's birthday today - she turned a milestone, a new... "dh says... who?" :rotfl2:

Ok y'all. My mom has been stalking my trip report! I was talking to her yesterday and she said "You're going to be gone 12 hours on your volunteer day?" I was like "No. 14. Wait a minute!" heh.
Then she asked if the lady from Utah was going to be there -
I said of course!
and she said "Does she have 5 kids and is pregnant?"
No, mom! She's only got 4.
MommyP and Twinks are the pregnant ones.
So anyway, she's getting to know you guys a bit.
She's also been stalking the sewing thread.

oh gosh now I rememberng a Frank Sinatra song, I think
about having been up and down
but I dont remember enough about it to even google it

That man had 12 gazillion songs!

I'm sure if you were going to google it for PJ, she wouldn't know who he was anyway.

Yeah, we are collecting phone numbers of anyone who wants to participate in the meet by phone :sunny:

No one not at the meet has given me a number. I think the reason they aren't coming is they are afraid of us.

Hi everyone!
