And poof it's gone. All my comments. Gone, just like that.

Twinkie - I have to drink mine in 5 minutes. Don't you just love the listed side effects. Including, but not limited to, bodily fluids from both ends and fainting. Sounds like goog times.

Celery - Is she stalking you here too?

Sandy - Last night they were talking about by Monday it would turn back into a TD because it's so unorganized. That could have changed by now, but I only watch the 10pm news so I have to wait until tonight to find out what's new. In any case if it stays on track it will hit either the east coast of FL(not so good for Orlando) or the GA/Carolinas. Either way we're safe(r) over here. They are always so horrible when they come into the gulf and make that turn towards the west coast.

My brownies are cleaned, yes, I just typed that not thinking. LOL! My brownies are made and my bathroom is cleaned. Not the boys yet. And Jeremiah is folding my first load of laundry. I have one in the dryer, one in the washer and one still in the dirty clothes basket.

Marita - I love all styles of music. :P
And think he was really cute when he was younger.
not so much when he got older.

I was listening to the jazz station on the way to work this morning - but some chick was doing a crappy version of "Love is here to stay" so I changed it.

Mommyp - no, she doesn't know about this one yet.

Oh! I was working on my notebook for the car yesterday at lunch - and my work buddies let me tell them what everything was (I love it when they humor me)-

they saw the tab labeled "Meeps"
and were like "What's that?"

heh.
and I said.
You know, like a homie, only marshmellowy.

:rotfl:

Yes, I'm really like this in real life.
Are y'all gonna be able to handle my weird sense of humor?

My brownies are cleaned.

WHEW, thank Googness!!!! I was worried there for a while..........

Oh TAGFAIRY, WHERE ART THOUGH???????

I still have not moved. But I will now! Unless I really have to watch Whoopie on THE VIEW, if I can't get it on the office TV - no cable there .......

My old recipe for avoiding housework: Just sit tight till the urge passes...

I hate people who wait until the last few minutes to outbid you on E-bay. I am trying to get some gently used history curriculum for super cheap.

Yay. I got it for $29.00 including my shipping charges. It is normally 43.00 plus shipping on my homeschool website. The first book has been written in, but I can erase it and the second on was only written in to page 19. All the others are empty. I can handle that. Curriculum is much more expensive this year. Jeremiah's phonics is going to be $100. Thankfully he won't be needing it for a while yet. He's behind in his book, but ahead in his skillz. So I'm not worried about being behind in the book.

MommyP- How's your tummy? ACK! The thought of the glucose test sends me curled up on the couch (i have bad sugar issues that's how I got out of the test with Norah...but I've done it 4 other times with my 4 other pregnancies-KILLER!)

You did get me wanting a diet Orange soda though. :yay:

I have a lot of hot air - so I hope that "blows up the Atlantic"!!

goog cleaned brownies!!

MommyP DH knows how to "snipe" So I send him links and say "bid ont his no more than this amount tho"

Frank Siniatra :rotfl2: I have the Barry Manilow CD that he sings Frank songs!!

Love Jazz too.... oh is Barry White Jazz???

Marita - did you lose your cool tags? or am I remembering something else?

Uma - I cant remember if you post here or there, or I'm imagining your posts... but you got your mug money!! I just shipped my Poly mug!! :rotfl2:

I chose the Chicken Fried Steak with sawmill gravy.
I actually think I've asked this question before. But not here. So I'm going to ask it again. How can chicken be chicken AND steak? I don't get it. Is this like that turducken stuff?

P.J.-- How are you this morning. Not sure what happened but you can have another hug anyway.
I'm sleepy! I got sent to the teacher's lounge. That made me laugh because when I was a kid I was sent to sit in the hallway approximately every 5 minutes. I had behavior issues. So today my teacher said something to me like "you need to go sit in the teacher's lounge and take a moment for yourself" and that's all I could think of. I was like oh man, no matter what I do I'm always being asked to leave the class! I did need a moment though, so it was goog.

I'm sure if you were going to google it for PJ, she wouldn't know who he was anyway.
 HEY! I know some things!!!!! I know who Frank Sinatra is, for the record. :snooty:

I'm going to try to sleep right now. I think I may have slept 1 hour last night. I was up on and off the whole night.

Have a goog afternoon.

:grouphug:

Just eating my lunch at home.

Got a call from the middle school this morning at 10:30. DD fell down the stairs! :scared1:

She could hardly walk...said her back hurt.

Two hours at the UTC and the verdict is....no verdict. They think her shoulder is NOT broken but we have to take the films to the ortho on Monday morning anyway...just to double check.

She's in a sling for the weekend. :headache:

OH! And I did go to Sam's club this morning but the optometrist doesn't come in til 10. Double :headache: :headache:

I need those glasses fixed!

Over and out.....

The term "Chicken Fried" Is NOT necessarily for chicken. It's the act of putting batter on meat and frying it. It's the same thing as "Country Fried" which is less confusing. When served with that flour based white "sawmill" gravy, it's SO good and very VERY fattening.

Twinkie thanks you for that useful post UtahMama.

I had a flashback to my school days and an alleged meat product by the name of "chuckwagon":scared:

Suffice it to say that it could be both chicken and steak. And veal.

I'm going to go with "country fried." That makes a LOT more sense. PJ also thanks you for this useful post.

Lexi -- Hope your DD heals fast and isn't in too much pain. I wear glasses and I never think of a back up pair when I go away. Maybe I should be packing some.

UMA-- what is cola cake? Never heard of that one before. And like everyone else said you don't look like your 40!!

I was at the mall and the fire alarm went off. Funny how people still go about there business like nothing is happening. They even announced what it was, I didn't see any smoke but I didn't hang around. Beside that alarm was hard on the ears. Did see some cute fireman outside the entrance though. They didnt' seem to be rushing anywhere either.

Some one should tell Old Navy that there XXL is more like a large if that.... I bought a black t-shirt with a cat on it, I really wanted the orange one with the pumpkins but it was long sleeve. Too hot for Florida Marita would say. Even asked if they made men's Halloween shirts or just an orange one , nope just sweaters. :sad2:

Shopping at Old Navy makes me feel fat. I think their clothing runs small in general. I am also not fond of fire alarms but do not have a problem with firemen....

We had a fire drill at school the other day. But no firemen came. Isn't that kind of one of the points? To see how fast they can get there and to make sure we all get out quickly? I dunno.

 Lexi! poor kid! And glasses!

 to me too on my poor LOST 3 months old glasses, LOL

You know, I am going to have trouble calling a lot of you by your proper names in, oh, about 9 DAYS

Went to Publix and got my 12" sub that is my current kick, which will last me for 4 meals. It's heating on the oven right now (well, 1/4 of it)

If I get another burst of energy later, I might even mop the floor  :scared: :faint:

Everybody ought to have a maid,
Everybody ought to have a working girl,
Everybody ought to have a lurking girl
To putter around the house.
Everybody ought to have a maid,
Everybody ought to have a menial
Consistantly congenial
And quieter than a mouse.
Oh, oh, wouldn't she be delicious,
Tidying up the dishes,
Neat as a pin.
Oh, oh, wouldn't she be delightful,
Sweeping out,
Sleeping in.

Everybody ought to have a maid,
Someone who you hire when you're short of help
To offer you the sort of help
You never get from a spouse:
Fluttering up the stairway,
Shuttering up the windows,
Cluttering up the bedroom,
Buttering up the master,
Puttering all around the house!
Oh, oh, wouldn't she be delicious,
Tidying up the dishes,
Neat as a pin.
Oh, oh, wouldn't she be delightful,
Sweeping out,
Sleeping in.

Everybody ought to have a maid,
Someone who in fetching you your slipper will
Be winsome as a whipporwill
And graceful as a grouse:
Skittering down the hallway,
Flittering through the parlor,
Tittering in the pantry,
Littering up the bedroom--

[SENEX & PSEUDOLUS]
Twittering all around the house!

[HYSTERIUM]
A maid?

[SENEX]
A maid.

[PSEUDOLUS]
A maid.

[ALL]
A maid!
Everybody ought to have a maid,
Everybody ought to have a serving-girl,
A loyal and unswerving girl,
To putter around the house.
Oh, oh,

[HYSTERIUM]
Think of her at the dustbin,
'Specially when she's just been
Traipsing about.

[ALL]
Oh, oh, wouldn't she be delightful,

[HYSTERIUM]
Living in,

[SENEX]
Giving out.

[ALL]
Everybody ought to have a maid,
Daintily collecting bits of paper n' strings,
Appealing in her apron strings
And graceful as a grouse.

[HYSTERIUM]
Pattering through the attic,

[SENEX]
Chattering in the cellar,

[PSEUDOLUS]
Clattering in the kitchen,

[SENEX]
Flattering in the bedroom,

[ALL]
Puttering all around the house!
The house!
The house!

[LYCUS]
A maid?

[HYSTERIUM]
A maid.

[PSEUDOLUS]
A maid.

[SENEX]
A maid!

[ALL]
Everybody ought to have a maid,
Someone who's efficient and reliable,
Obedient and pliable,
And quieter than a mouse!
Oh, oh, wouldn't she be so nimble,
Fiddling with her thimble,
Mending her gown.
Oh, oh, wouldn't she be delightful,

[LYCUS]
Cleaning up,

[SENEX]
Leaning down.

[ALL]
Everybody ought to have a maid,
Someone who'll be busy as a bumblebee
And even if you grumble, be
As graceful as a grouse.

[LYCUS]
Wriggling in the anteroom,

[HYSTERIUM]
Jiggling in the dining room,

[PSEUDOLUS]
Giggling in the living room,

[SENEX]
Wiggling in the other rooms,

[ALL]
Puttering all around the house!
The house!
The house!
The house!

I'm having severe mood swings. I think I need a dose of disney.
argh.
I'm ok for a minute, then I get all grouchy.

I keep changing my mind about whether or not to go to the vestry meeting tonight.
The church didn't tell me about it until this morning.
I think I'lll wait and see what kind of mood I'm in.

Thanks for the song, Marita. Are you channeling the babynurse?

 Cel. I know the feeling. I think that's why my mom calls me emotionally unstable!
