Hi Nab!

At work, I let my computer do the work, and no even when I attempt to do something in my head (which is rare, I can barely add 2+2 in my head (dont tell the boss!) I guess its a different envireonment.

I dont ever wear shorts to any social outings , so expect to see me in my black slacks I wear almost daily, LOL. But they are very comfortortable. and I live in this hellhole all year anyway.

Oh, yesterday I wore an outfit with red shoes, and one of them started losing a sole. And nobody had any glue that would actually open. So I have to take them in for repair. Chances of me going out shopping for new shoes are slim to none.......

Although, I still have to find goog shoes for Disney. This is a big dilemma!!

Oooohhhh...you're a goog stalker!! Either that or you just know babycow verrrry well.

If your hand holding and protecting are anything like hers I'm not interested.

1. I am a phenomenal stalker. The type "A" Martha Stewart voice in my head insists that I excel at anything I attempt. Even at my own peril.
2. Nurse Ratched and I employ very different methods of hand-holding. My method involves reassuring glances and occasional soothing gestures. Her method is more of a cross between arm-wrestling and jujitsu.

GOOG MORNING!

Lalijack? Is that you Lynette? I didn't recognize you without your coffee cup! You must know the BNCG personally! Or maybe you just stalk her relentessly

Heya, Lex! It's really me! Look, here's proof:

Please note that the coffee cup matches the Crocs. Just sayin. :rotfl: :rotfl:

AND the only reason she knows all of the above, is b/c she has carved out a place right beneath my kitchen window, and my bedroom window, and my living room window, and the game room window, and in the barn, and under the trampoline, and on the playset, and in the garage, and in the horse trailer, the big pick up, the little pick up, the mini van, the mailbox, the garden, the front porch, the back porch, and the bushes. Or was that last one Marita? no, wrong stalkee. We don't have a dumpster, but if we did, I'm sure Marita would be here too.

Yes, it's Lynette, these people won't quit following me around.:sad2:

HEY! I saw her first, and I knew her when. Y'all are just lucky I decided to share her with you.:snooty:

Do you guys see that? She just pirated my patented snark/hug posting style. First she squawked about my stalking her, then she went all Single White Female on us! Sheesh!

Marita, you do need to at least shop long enough to get some comfy shoes! And you should really try some capris.

You too, Nab - maybe you can find some on clearance before the trip.

That is what I wear most of the summer, even to work.

Oh, I forgot to tell poly that I also had a DVC e-mail yesterday. I saw it after we chatted last night and actually read it. It included a $1600 offer for Saratoga Springs! I had never noticed any discounts before. So, Marita, are they trying to finish selling Saratoga Springs so they can start offering other DVC properties?

Times are a changing Marita. I even wear my shorts to church. I would never do this when I was growing up.

That is the norm at my church though except for the little old ladies that look all dressed up and not a hair out of place.

I wish this wasn't the norm because Sunday's these days have really changed. From dressing for church to family Sunday dinners. Plus everything was closed unlike today all stores are open like any other day.

I am debating about with myself about Crocs, DD has some, but those little thing in the soles dont thrill me. I may have to go out, sigh!!!!!!!
WhY Capris, it's a difference of may 3 inches? I was thinking about athletic shoes, but I cannot stand having my feet encased in closed shoes with socks anymore. So maybe I will go croc shopping this weekend.

Marita, I know shoebuy.com is having a decent sale right now (20% off everything). I've gotten several pairs of Crocs for me and the kids there.

It might be worth checking out.....

Thanks, Lynette, I will! Although I am not sure about the whole Croc thing, I thing I will try one.

So if I show up or the meet with purple crocs and red pants, dont blame me. blame it on my fiscally conservative nature!

I fought the whole Croc thing at first too. My DD had 3 pairs by the time I bought my first pair. And now I have 4 pairs of my own. Once you wear them for a day, you get sucked in. :rotfl:

Marita that sure sound like something the red hat ladies would wear. Purple and red....

I love my cros. I have been wearing my disney ones all summer. They are the pearl ones with the pink strap so they go with almost everything.

Well better go to bed, Hannah's has the neighbour over for a sleepover so I am sure I won't be sleeping in.

Night all.

Marita, I just find that the capris are cooler, maybe because most of mine are loose around the knee and a few inches below the knee. Maybe you're thinking of "flood" length pants :rotfl2:

I thought the bumps in the Crocs would bother me, but they don't. One of my coworkers has narrow feet and she bought the Mary Jane style after seeing my regular Crocs and asking about them. She loves them.

OK, OK, I will go Croc shopping this weekend. I think I want t at least to try some on before I order online. I am still learry..........

They had a whole big artictl about Croc Imitators in the local paper last week, ALAS without any actual INFORMATION! So it said, they are popular, and their are lots of imitators, well, thanks for THAT information!!!

I have 4 days, so hopefully I can extracate myslef for of those days.

But I am tired now, so good night friends!! See you tomorrow

GOOG MORNING!

I made breakfast today!

GET UP, PJ!!!

Marita....I bought DS Holey Soles and they are wonderful. They were actually made before Crocs so of course Crocs is trying to sue them to cease and desist production. They may also be cheaper. RE: German...when I was growing up my best friend's mom was German and she taught us all to count in German. I still can but couldn't type it out since she never taught us how to spell the words. Her name was Hannelore and she was from Darmstadt.

Celery...Ruby Falls made me think of Rock City too. I meant to post the picture of the lil bird house I usta have. If you grew up around Nashville, you are used to this sight...

Lynette?...You changed clothes! No camo!? Still big honkin coffee cup!

Wendy
...I've never seen that commercial?! And I was a big kid in the 70's. Maybe it was only shown in CA. Too sophisticated for KY.

NAB...I wear shorts and jeans everywhere. I have a pair of khakies from Target for dress up!

BNCG....Are you expecting company this weekend?

Twinkie, MommyP, everybody else... :wave2:

Just tell them that they will get good drugs after they have a C-section, they really don't want to know the rest.;)

That basically summed up my whole class, except I did add "Don't feel guilty if you send the baby to the nursery at night. Believe me, you'll have TONS of other opportunities to feel mommy guilt for the rest of your parenting life." Including going to WDW without them.:rolleyes1

I said, why wasn't it IN the base?????
She said, 'cause it didn't make it there when I threw it.............

I employ this method of hanging up the phone as well. Is that frowned upon here?

If someone besides me wants to try posting it as a test to make sure it isn't protected, I'd appreciate it.[/B]

Further proof that I did indeed read all of your post, AND did zackly as you requested.

p.s. I'm not in chat. Talking to myself. I wouldn't do something like that. That's just creepy. And I'm not creepy. wIerd? check crazy? check creepy? negative

It's not so much the class as it is the holding still and being quiet. For 2 1/2 hours. My capacity on holding still is 30 minutes.

Since everyone was wondering I decided to take my half personal day on Friday afternoons so I'll be done at noon tomorrow. Then I'm driving out to the crazynurse ranch to jump on the trampoline for the weekend.

This is for you:
avatar104029_0.gif

p.s. 30 minutes? Try 3!!!!!!

p.s.s. Fine, but we will be gone most of the weekend. Jump away, just watch the yellow lab, he likes to jump too. for reals. Well, he likes to jump up there and then lay down. He wants you to rub his belly, b/c he thinks he's a lap dog.

The last time we took him to the vet, the vet said "He is a 5 lb toy poodle in a 90 lb. Lab's body."

He wasn't on a horse either but he did have the big honking truck does that count. :lmao:

It only counts if it emits a sinfully large amount of toxic fumes into the atmosphere, and if small children are occasionally THROWN into the bed.

I ate cool whip. Does that count?

only if there's peanut butter involved.;)

Do you guys see that? She just pirated my patented snark/hug posting style. First she squawked about my stalking her, then she went all Single White Female on us! Sheesh!

B/C I'm a pirate. Twink said so. Hence, I "pirate" things, and stalk, and pillage, and plunder, and occasionally ravish....but believe me, you and PJ have nothing to worry about in that dept. promise.

YUMMMMMMMY. Thanks Lexi.

No, I'm not. But company will probably show up anyway.:sad2: These people, aka PJ, can't get enough of me. And she's met me, so I think that speaks highly of me, don't you? I'm addictive....just sayin'

Good morning!!

Wow, I can't believe I am here before MP and Nab!!!!!!

Yummy breakfast, Lexi!

Day 1 of 4 days off

I am going to attempt to actually do some housework today or tomorrow

Which reminds me of what my mom used to quote:
"Morgen, morgen, nur nicht heute, sagen alle faule leute!"

Translation: Tomorrow, tomorrow, just not today, say all lazy people.

I resemble that remark..........

I wish you had taught my childbirth class.

 Thanks for that Marita! I am going to try it out on my grandfather... (My dad's family spent 2 years in Germany in the late 50s) and he always quotes something to us which I will not attempt to spell in a foreign language I don't actually know but it translates

If you don't work, you don't eat.
:rotfl2: Procrastinators unite....tomorrow!

Or better yet, next Tuesday!:goodvibes

It is a big day here: Princess Twink is Happy Helper at Kindergarten. That means we get to bring a snack AND show and tell AND she is line leader, errand runner, and calendar girl.

We have been counting down the days till this momentous occasion. They only have 16 kids in the class so everyone should get plenty of chances to be Happy Helper but I think it will remain a Really Big Deal.

Good Morning!

Well I didn't get up until 9 this morning. But that's because Chad was home. Even Kaleb stayed asleep until then! In bed with us of course.

We're off to the grocery store this morning.

MOO HOOTY to Princess Twink for being the IMPORTANT HELPER and to MommyP for sleeping till 9!!:yay:

Come over to the CROCS side Marita! You KNOW you want happy feet :cool1: Try them on first. I see you in a Black Mary Jane or Alice (only one hole) in brown or black.

There's another company called Nothingz that I LOVE! They aren't the cheap Payless or Walmart version. They're even squishier. I wear them around the house all the time like slippers. Since I'm a Lady of Leisure, and all.

Morning All,

It is still morning.

Marita-- I couldn't get on this morning. Got that server busy thing....It must have been you and I couldn't get on.:lmao: Get shoe shopping!

I too slept until 9:00 and then two little girls came in and asked if they could go on the computer. I thought they would ask for breakfast but no...

Lexi-- It looks yummy. Can't say as I ever had that though. Not big here like the south I guess.

Twinkie-- Lucky for princesss twink. When does Twinkerbell get her chance. It was star of the day in Kindergarden and apple of the day in grade one. They get to sit in a special chair beside the teacher. That was Hannah's favourite thing too.

Babynurse-- No the kids are always strapped down in there sits. We actually like it that way. And it is legal....:lmao:
