Hey babycow - I tried to post this on facebook last night, but it logged me out.
Did you know you can turn the settings to Pirate English?!!?!?!?

There's a little button at the bottom that says "English (US)"
Click on it and change it to English (Pirate)


Some examples:
Friend suggestion = 1 matey proposed for ye
Help = Mayday!
Logout = Abandon ship
You may need to update your browser = Ye may need t' pillage yerself a better vessel, matey.

* remember?......this was the trip....where the lil'girl "just had"
to sit next to her, going back....to the wildness lodge.

oh,...it was dark, & we made the mistake...of letting jordan walked
in front.....[ wooden planks] ....& a pretty gator.....was "laying"
right in front of her. luckily, he "jump" back into the lake,



...i didn't kno...moo, wow!....it would very exciting if we were
neighbors,



sometimes, it is the little things..that makes the magic. case in point,
....@ our last.....mk day....."we".....got the last spot......in the
parking row. saved a half mile of walking, . that! made my
day!!!!

speaking of fairies....they need better mouskeeping..., i was covered

Hello.

How are we all doing? My classroom is pretty much finished. I personally think it looks great. All I have left to do is planning! We have a few more professional development days and then the kids come next Thursday!!!! It's so good to be back at school...makes me very excited for the arrival of the kids!

p.s. I got my class list yesterday. I would love to post some names for y'all, but I probably shouldn't. There's some good ones though!

Celery...here's what I'm thinking. Every 2-3 days you post one of those summaries. It's your special talent and it saves me time, so what's to lose?

Nabbie - Any more camping trips planned? I'm going to try to get to the beach Saturday or Sunday if the weather cooperates.

Lil G - That would be a hoot to be "neighbors" at BLT! I was surprised to read that entry to the building is by key card only, so that will really keep the foot traffic down. They really seem to be limiting who can get into the Top of the World lounge and the fireworks viewing area.

I had it on for awhile right before school got out but then it started driving me up the wall. Who would have thought???!!!

This was definitely a short summer! We lost 2 weeks of it due to make up days. Fingers crossed that we'll only get 1 (maybe 2?) snow days this winter.
p.s. my list is at school. I'll let ya know tomorrow.

Welcome back, LilG. Sorry about your experience with the Brazilians. We kept running into them last summer during our trip to WDW. Even my uber-mellow DH was getting ticked off at them. They kept chanting the song that I hear played at soccer games...over and over and OVER, all over every park, in every restaurant. There were several times when they would smash into my kids or even push one of them aside. Unbelievably ill-mannered! And doubly irritating because everyone always says how poorly behaved Americans travelers are. Harumph!

Lynette - Hope you get to work in some more pool time and frozen coffee goodness before school starts!

We sure will fit in both the coffee AND the pool time! That drink looks delish!

I really wanted to name DS Michael, but since that is DH's name, we didnt. Didn't want a Jr or litltle Mikey or some such thing.

DS called today, he had a tough time on a test and was afraid of failing it. Went back to second guess some questions, etc. He wound up with 100%, WOOHOO! He was shocked!
Tomorrow he turns 30!!!!!!!!!! Where the heck does the time go??? This day 30 days ago I was singing a German Christmas song going something like "tomorrow, children, we will get something, tomorrow we will be excited" (he was being induced)

No new development on the Montana leg of my trip, still probably out


Re: Brazilian tour groups, I know at least All Star adds labor in the summer to help with them (can't say control). Don't know what they do, really but extra labor non-the-less.

Hey, bbn, member when that one kid of yours had a brilliant idea??? He proposed that a Disney World be built in Brazil. That way we have 2 options. They could either just go to that park and leave us alone OR we could go there in groups of 3935 and be as obnoxious as possible. It's BRILLIANT! Those bbn kids are smart. Must take after their dad.

You still have a lot of summer left! Stop lamenting!

You snuck in on me!!! In backstage Contemporary there were all these posters encouraging us to go to some thing at Disney University to help us to better deal with "large, energetic tour groups." I failed to attend.

You missed something. What if they built you your own WDW and they transferred cast members over from the current WDW and I was still a hostess at Chef Mickey's? Because that's what would happen. And then I still wouldn't let you into the restaurant. Should have thought that one through a little better there, lawyer.

Ha! A friend of mine in high school was one of 8 kids. They had 6 boys and then twin girls. Hmmmmm......

Today is student orientation from 4-7. I'm going to go to the gym and wal mart (since everyone was wondering) and then head into school. Happy Friday, everyone!

I'm exhausted.....

But I have a clean house. Well as clean as it could be with all the stuff in the rooms. I will never let the kitchen floor get that bad again. I had to scrub it on hands and knees the mop didn't cut it. Hubby thinks I am crazy for cleaning so much. But my Mom comes back with us on Sunday.

We leave tonight to go to her place. We have a Christening tomorrow and I have to give my sister her birthday gift. Found out Nicholas suit pants are getting short and his shoes are getting small. We only got this suit for Christmas last year.

Hannah got her nails and toes done, but I have been to busy to do mine.
