MommyP - You weren't skimming! I mentioned DVC a couple weeks ago during our chat but not here because I was waiting for it to be official. Of course, BLT doesn't open until next fall, so it's not as if I can use it yet I probably won't be renting out points anytime soon!

I got the "window of opportunity" mailing from DVC too. I understand what they are trying to do, but don't be surprised if they reverse the whole thing within a couple of years, IMHO.

Thanks, Steph! Reading over on the DVC boards, there are quite a few people who are grumbling about the whole thing. I think they should award the developer points to anyone who finds out about them and asks.

I notice that they didn't send that mailing out to the brand new-bies

I can see why they decided that an additional incentive might help in this economy though. Especially since people are having to pay for their points well ahead of being able to use them.

that reminds me, the last time I wore a dress was 6 years ago, for my 50th BD. It was a lovely shirt dress with a belt in a lovely bright green color. My mom told me I couldn't pull it off anymore. Do that was the end of dresses for me. I still have the dress, I love it, but I dont dare to wear it anymore. Not that I want to wear pantyhose anyway.... Funny how mothers still have so much power even when you are older... I dont really know why she said that, I didnt get heavier But still, I don't wear it.

On a bright side, I got 20% off shoes from shoebuy.com. Code is "Shop". My favorite shoes i wear almost daily need new heels, so I need substitutes while they get fixed. Got a 5 out of 5 rating for comfort.

Moo, you might want to check it out, they seem to have a lot of size choices.

then there's love?...someone wondering about the timeline?

..i jus think..love..is the reflection of death & dying,

..in living color, no less. reality?..is always sneaking ..in my
ways..of thinking, mostly for fun [when off~duty].

* when we spend...so much time..on creating "bad vibrations',
even killing..is it nice to find comfort..in something producing
good feelings? & it is..indestructable,

..anyhoo.."love~ is defined ..by our desires for something we
want to keep near? but, it's the loving ....learning & discovering
..all the things....we kno, or don't kno...that makes us
feel ..important , in our own lil'corky lifestyle~

& that why...i think...alot of people...loses the value of sex,
*** they forget the differnce...to be love,...is the same...
..driving force..behind.....repsect..one must give it, to
recieve it? soooo- those afraid?, or unwilling to share...is self
limiting....as far as it comes..go, the seekers.

...love begins..with self realization and expand from there?
...growth & development, lays the foundation...for all that come
..in time, united..., isn't jus cermony..but a process?

..so if i was going to address that person? , ..love & time lines...

...it's all depends how you come together..and how much one is
ready...with...the insights,..to feel & share their ideas for love and
respond by loving ... the journey a couple wil travel.

college football, i am going to express what alot of crock! these
experts talk...* as long as b. bowden/joe pat...we should
enjoy...& the notre dame's coach?..if one really knew..the
upper levels..one hopes to find..in a coach..to lead/represent

good morning everyone...

about your niece and niece in law......Dont ya just wish they would realize that life is so dang short and to get over their problems ........makes me sad. My brother in laws .......one married to my older sister and one to my younger sister are still having a tiff.......this has been going on for over two years. My eldest sisters husband extended the hand of forgiveness at moms funeral last December and the other brother in law took it but still doesnt want him in his house......I feel bad for my two sisters cause they would like to spend time together....so they have to do it at either my house or my brothers house. sad..

hubby made breakfast this morning.....usually he makes on Sunday.....turkey bacon, eggs and toast and coffee.......he does a good job.......then our Megara licks the plates clean.....ROFL......its okey the dishwasher temp is up to 180. so any licking germs are gone...

Yesterday was a very very wet day.......the rain came down in torrential downpours......even Megara didnt want to go out and go potty....(wish we had trained her to the toilet) so she got up early this morning and asked her papa to let her out .......

We are looking at APril for our next Disney fix......it will be the last one on that AP and DDE.(I dont like ToW). We asked hubby's brother and his wife to come with us again......we shared a room the last time ...I think this time they have enough time to get their own ......we asked them about a month and a half before our vacation that year....

I had a thrilling day of filling out report cards yesterday. They need to let us do those on the computer. If I could type them it would be sooooo much faster. Let me just say I had a very nice time meeting Moo and her sister. She is just one of the sweetest people ever!

It was nice getting out and getting a break from my crazy life and just stopping for a bit.

We met at a very cutsy store and had a nice Brunch followed by some wonderful adult conversation.

She had the working camera and I just smiled.

She have to post the pictures.

I'm very happy to report that I got to see Mony and her VERY adorable daughters in person today!!! Owing to it being a winter wonderland mid-Mitten today, I just got home My sister and I made a brief stop at the outlet mall on the way home and while there I stopped at the gas station to put some extra air in my tires because it was pretty slippery on the freeways. Two of my tires were way low (like 10 pounds under the recommended pressure) so it wasn't as slippy/slidey driving home after I did that.

So, I'm in charge of the church Christmas party again this year. I was voted in based on last year's veritable Winter Wonderland I transformed the church multi purpose room into. YAY! I'm sooooo excited. THIS year's theme (not in any way picked by me) is Christmas in Nauvoo (Illinois) circa 1844. So... simple decor is in order! Pine bows tied in gingham ribbon and hand dipped taper candles and old fashioned candy canes to bedeck each of the 20 round tables (for 200 ish people). I'm the "hostess" of this event and will be renting (or sewing if renting is too much on the activity budget) a period costume all the way up to my throat. Luckily I get to pick this out myself so I won't show up looking like Ma Ingals or Holly Hobbie. The activities committee is all dressing up as well as the cast of characters depicting early LDS church leaders. It's right up my alley so I'm crazy excited.

Here are a few pics from the Mid-Mitten Girls Day Meet!

Our meeting place, Catching Fireflies (check out their Web site), was filed with all kinds of whimsical things to buy. I did some shopping for Christmas gifts for my work girlfriends and found a couple stocking stuffers for my DD (they're all wrapped or I'd show what I found)

Parked at restaurant #1, an Irish pub. Zzzzzt! Way too smoky for me, so we went down the road a little ways and found a smoke-free place (NOMarita). Ahhhhhhh! Maybe someday Michigan will clear the air. The snow was coming down in HUGE flakes!

Mal's loot for the shop and Maddie is SUCH a cutie patootie!

Breakfast for lunch for Mony, Mal, and my sis (not interested in being part of the freaky food photo-taking)!

Except I had a gyro and Greek salad. Yum.

After lunch -My hair was all sticky-uppy due to being snowed on, but Mony and the girls are looki' good!!!

Still snowing . . . all the way home.

It was a really fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon

We had snow at my mom's place but not when we got home. Enough snow for the kids to make a snowman there. They loved it.
