Quiet day here today!
Well, it seems my DD is recovering somewhat from the BF breakup. Not that she showed it. But she went out last night with friends and wasn't home yet when I went to bed at 1 am.
I called DS tonight, he made it to Oklahoma to visit his AF buddy, and has 9 hours of driving ahead of him tomorrow to Colorado. I asked him to call so I wouldn't worry about him dying in a ditch on the side of a road. He said ssomething along the lines, I can't call you everyday, I might die in an airplane too!
OK, Fine! I am much less conerned about airplanes than roads. But WHATEVAH! KIDS!!!!!! (well, young adults) They don't know how mothers worry.

Happy Birthday Wendy

I know that is very hard to deal with.
I'll pray for you and for the Brielle's family. Y'all need them right now.
Where did you stay? And do you mean it was hotter then last Sept !! I will stick to winter months and no hurricanes watches.
They get us all worked up and then nothing.
I had to stop watching the news.

My mom always used that "ditch" expression too.
I promise I won't take your Scrabble score....
It is like cake for breakfast.
