I just took a nap cloud9: ) and Jordan took Norah and his girlfriend to Red Lobster for dinner. When they get back later tonight we're playing "Apples to Apples".

awesome...I want a kitchen makeover too...but I must win the lottery first...all that remolding gets in the way of my trips to someplace disney... I have my priotities...lol

Yes I would say that is a lot of trips in that kitchen. Hubby even teased me that my vacation spot will be the couch looking at the kitchen.

New kitchen was cheaper then a new house. Only problem is now the other two rooms on the main floor look old.

I have been saying for years I love to travel more then fixing the house. At least this is an investment.

Back to normal tomorrow. The kids go to school and I have know idea when the kitchen guy is coming back to do the odd jobs. They are waiting on some parts.

I need to get ready for the community yard sale, they have it the first weekend of June. Lots of country themed stuff....and a ton of out grown toys, like a huge Barbie house for outside but was in my dining room, sand box, swing set, power wheels car thing.

BigL...I can't believe your kids don't get out until June 12! WOW! Do they go back really late or sumpthin?

Actually, it's pretty early for around here, since most Massachusetts schools don't get out until after the 18th. My town goes back pretty early too, compared to other towns in the state. Last year, school started the Wednesday before Labor Day. Everyone else around here generally starts their school year the day after Labor Day.

Both of my kids are gone now.

I made an effort to call my mom this weekend, expecially since my brother and SIL are away on a much needed vacation. She was very appreciative too, so I am glad I did. But I am getting an awful feeling she is getting hard of hearing now....... I had to yelll or repeat things

No, she is still around, she won't leave till June 23. And believe it or not, calling oversees is just like calling next door, so Mom's hearing problems are not related to that.

I had the same same thing on Friday, when DH wasnt home.

I called both DH and DD twice. VOICEMAIL! Then fnally they called back, they went to a movie, which they never do on a Friday. GRRRRRRRRRR

Marita! Google it! It's a REALLY fun card/family game. Jordan wanted to play it and since he's "The boss of everyone" we had to. And we ate cake (yum!)

Sorry I wasn't around earlier - had to do some grocery shopping tonight, then we were watching our Monday night shows I managed to make it through the day at work, but got pretty tired mid-afternoon. Still hacking. Grrrr!

Once I finally got the photobucket bulk uploader to work tonight, it took forever to upload my photos. So here are the pics of Cel on the Segway!

He looks like a terrific young man that makes his parents very proud...I just hope he can live up to your expectations... weve been having a very rough time with an out of control teenager DD17 with ADHD that refuses to take her meds.
