GOOD MORNING! :sunny:

It's primary day here in the commonwealth so all public schools are closed. Yay! Emily has play practice nearly all day today as Seussical is coming up this weekend.

Wendee....Belated birthday greetings to your grown up son! I love his senior picture. And he DOES act just like you! Sweet and funny!

Steph....I SO feel your pain on the teenager who won't answer the phone. The iPhone never leaves her hand when she's inside the house but once she's out the door, she never answers. :sad2: She also graduates in a coupla weeks.

Lynette....Our kids get out May 30th which is a week later than scheduled due to snow days. They start back in mid August. Do your kids go to Catholic school?

Moo! Great pictures! Can't wait to see the rest! Photobucket has been working much faster for me lately. I think they've made some improvements to their site.

Cel....How was the Segway demo? Worth doing?

Celmama.....:wave2: Your so cute!

Hound
....Thanks for the Dole Whip!

Monica, Twink, Sandy, PJ, BNCG, Rob, Newman, et al.....:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Actually, it's pretty early for around here, since most Massachusetts schools don't get out until after the 18th. My town goes back pretty early too, compared to other towns in the state. Last year, school started the Wednesday before Labor Day. Everyone else around here generally starts their school year the day after Labor Day.

Our kids last day is June 10th. They started the day after Labor Day. And this has been the norm ever since I was in school. Just when I graduated we got out a week early.

New daycare cuttie pa-tuttie starts today. I love referrals!

I need some GOOD reasons to make this mini jaunt to WDW for August.
I'm running out!

lex - it's worth doing! the video is short then you get to play for a second on the seqway.
It was stressful for me cuz I have a hard time balancing, but it was fun and I'm glad I did it.
Plus it's free.
Can't beat that!

Off to a meeting! I actually have work to do today! :scared1: :woohoo:
Should be done in an hour and a half.
:sad2:

Hi everyone! It is easy to read while "multitasking" but hard to post :)

Congrats to you and your son Steph! Graguawhashion is a big dot deal.

Mony- Pick a rationaliziation. Don't worry I have plenty ;) They are only young once. The future is uncertain. They are the perfect ages. Family time is important. You work hard for the money. For a large family, WDW is actually a more affordable vacation. For a family with spread out ages, WDW has things that everyone enjoys. Of course I really think you stink since you got the uber code and now you are thinking of another trip :snooty:

Off to get a sweater (TM Cel) and then to gymnastics, then the bus stop, then a meeting.....

Last day of kindergarten. I think I have something in my eye. *sniff*

Celery -- I probably wouldn't have the balance for that either and would run down all those little cones.

The tonga toast looks really good. Never tried it before but heard a lot about them. Same with the Dole whip. I am always to full or forget to get one.

Steph-- when did you son finally come home? Is he grounded for life...:lmao:

Mony-- how is the new daycare child working out. Is it another baby?

Just trying to catch up on all the :laundy: around here. All the guest bedding and piles I didn't get caught up on before hand. It never ends.

Hey, all! Just checking in to say a quick hello! I'm at work, but only for a short time, since Boris has soccer practice and then Scouts immediately after. I'm not a big fan of Tuesdays...so much sprinting around town!

Natasha's diorama came out really cute! We turned it in this morning (a day early), and got rave reviews as I carried it to her classroom. She's sooo proud of it!

Boris' class is going on a field trip to a Butterfly Habitat this morning. I volunteered, but wasn't chosen because I already chaperoned a trip earlier this school year. That's kinda okay with me, since I'm not really fond of the idea of butterflies landing on me and/or fluttering around me. Ick! :scared:

Nope, Melinda. Public school. But our town is trying to extend both the school year and the school day. The school system is one of the best in the state, which is part of the reason why we decided to move to our town initially. This school year, they expanded the Kindergarten program to full day, and added 10 minutes to the school day for grades 1-12.

Yuck. You are really strange. Give that girl some Pepto Bismal and QUIT talking about it. Already.

Perhaps you should venture outside your guard shack today and try to interact with some real people? Just a thought.................

Norah 's all graduated from OPP (Over Priced Pre-School)
I forgot my camera and took crummy pics with my cell phone.

Blah!

I just send them to my e-mail. They suck but sum up this year's preschool experience. For the money I spent, she should be speaking fluent French and be a pianist by now. All I got was: she knows how far the words please and thank you will get her. She knows the difference between teal and turquoise . She can spell but not write her full name. Unless "NnNNnnn" would pass for Norah Lastname. She's become a foodie with a preference for cinnamon graham crackers vs. plain generic ones (that I buy). The Wheels on the bus go round and round. And we sit on our bumper pads. :teacher:

Pooh girl (my now favorite daycare buddy) has a spider (?) bite on her calf. It's a reddish hot 2 inch circle that her nurse/mom traced around with a sharpee and gave her Benedryl. Now I have one tired Pooh Girl. :cool1:

Yes Yes and Yes! He did this morning kinda hint that going would be cool, but he's not looking forward to driving. It takes 24 hourish to get there for us.

They growed up mom! Good job!

She's WONDERFUL. She is such a cutie. Dark hair and big blue eyes. She's almost 2.

Yuck. You are really strange. Give that girl some Pepto Bismal and QUIT talking about it. Already.
