BH- I thank you for your your non-frilly posts. I am not a sports fan but the DH is and occassionally I read up on stuff to make intelligent conversation/freak him out. Ha.

Hi twinkiemama thats for your suport of the Non Frilly post....its greatly appreciated...if you go to DL your husband will probably love this place.

Monica!!! Malory is PRECIOUS! She is the best one!

Droopy balloons? Huh...there's a symbol in there somewhere! ;)

WT, we'd like to see you in THIS Goofy hat during your July trip . . . k?!! :lmao:

dave-goofy-hat.jpg
We have that SAME hat! Is it a club or what? :bitelip:

Does this mean we're back on for Saturday the 25th? Will you be at DLR or off elsewhere?
Ok. I'll have to sort this all out with you soon! Cuz, I've lost me "records" and forgot what we were planning. :confused3

We ARE doing the Costco passes. 6 days. 3 day DL/CA hoppers, 1 Sea World, 1 Universal, and 1 zoo or Wild Animal Park. I'll have to talk to you before we make any ressies. AL I'm saying is IF I don't get into Ariel's Ghetto THIS time (after attempting it valiantly for the last 4 trips!) YOU are putting on a fish skirt and "shells" for my kids!!! ;) Pluto can be a different princess of his choosing.

I don't think we can do the Halloween party, but THATS ok! We just have to be careful not to schedule a CA day on the party day so we don't get booted out early.

Oh yes, I am officially 40 now...

A new Cougar, Melinda, Moo, and Marita!!!! Purrrrrrfect!

morning......tomorrow is C day for the other eye.....I have been doing the three day prior eye drops for surgery. I am not as nervous but TOLD that doctor last week to do exactly the same stuff for this eye and he promised....in other words enough drugs to make me a happy camper.

The other night hubby booked us a vacation in September. Guess where??????????? YUP Disney.....we couldn't get into french quarter with AP rates and could not get into Movies so we ended up (at that time booking) at Caribbean Beach cause they had a hot tub too......so I got to looking and found that the place has a major renovation on the pool and hot tub area.....so we are NOW booked for Pop Century WITHOUT a hot tub....but preferred bld too.....I also booked Crystal Palace for his birthday dinner..the other food choices will be spur of the moment.......if we cant get into ts restaurants then we wont......we need some down time and just to walk around slowly........and being its September .....the heat will make us walk around slowly.....hahaha.

Hope you are all fine and will see you either tonight or sometime after my surgery.....

Good luck on your eye ball surgery!!!
AND have a nice trip (loopy meds!)

Thats great, you should go to the site and look at the arcade...its very high tech... Wendy dosnt think the site is Frilly enough...I bet her DH would like it though.....but then maybe she is a power freack and keeps a tight leash on him....:lmao:

I can squash you like a bug, mister. ;)

Great idea, dump off my family at ESPN and me and Norah will go to Libby Lu.
I'll make you a bath fizzie!

ME? BULL-HEADED? Nevah evah. I can be persuaded to do stuff, you just have to know which cards to play and when. I like to ponder on things.

I repeat: BULLHEADED!

I am at work, but with my nifty summer schedule, which means that I have Fridays off and only work a half day on Thursdays, I am finding it easier to tolerate working in the ninth circle of He!!. Now if only I could send CBM out on some long, drawn-out errand. Any ideas?

Monica - She is the BEST and the CUTEST!!! :cutie:

Ok, I survived the first night of VBS and was home by 9:30! :yay: (it ended at 8:30, so not bad) WE had 274 kiddos there last night. With workers, adults, teen workers, and kids we had 477. Successful night I think. ::yes::

The Sea of Galilee was a HUGE success, and nobody fell in the water. :thumbsup2 I didn't get to see it last night since I looked like this -> :surfweb: except that I was furiously typing in all the kids that walked in last night. Then had to assign each child to a class, then take roll, then print out roll sheets for tonight. :faint:

Oh, and funny story. Our VBS starts at 6:30 and goes until 8:30. Well, about 7:15 one of our elders walks into the office, where I was furiously working, and says, I think there is someone out here signing up. HUH?? It's half over. Well, I walk out and it is this mom from our preschool. Well, I just had to laugh because this woman hardly ever got her kids to school before lunch. :rotfl2: Lunch is at 11:30, school is over at 1:00, and we start at 9:15. So, it was appropriate, I suppose, that she was late for VBS too. :rotfl2:

My freakin' genius children even recognized the background.

Since Camden and Hayden are almost 6 and 9, I am not up on 3 - 5 pop culture -
what is the background?
What's the song from?

All I know is zoey 101, icarly, spongebob, etc.
YUCK!
I keep trying to ban nickelodeon at breadman's, but no luck so far.
I actually like icarly though.
And sometimes we watch Hannah Montana and suite life.
the rule is if *I've* seen the episode, I *KNOW* they have so they have to change it.
"You have TOO seen it, Hayden! I watched it with you! Trust me, I don't watch this when you're not here. This is the one where Carly's grandfather comes into town. You even told me last time you don't like this episode, so CHANGE IT!"
"Oh. Spongebob. Again. YAY!"
:faint:

Note to windy - I do not like spongebob. I think Misty has issues.

Celery- You don't like SpongeBob?

I can take him or leave him, but, Misty does so I "do" too!

I do like his squirrel friend, Sandy. I am JUST like her when you (as in anyone) wakes me up (as per the waking from hibernation episode).

Hi Celery, I cant stand Spongebob either...along with the most of the cartoon network...I would rather watch Animal Planet or TV Land...I do enjoy all the clasic cartoons from 60's and 70's....even my dad still likes the classic Bugs Bunny ... he is 76

It isn't 3-5 pop culture. You know this. And if you don't then you have bigger problems than Spongebob. ;) LOOK at the background. THINK about the costumes/lyrics.

To be fair: When Twinkerbell said "look it is from ******" I said she was wrong but she was right. Now I am thinking DUH. ;)

Allie- that is a huge VBS! I am laughing at your chronically late mom.

Hound and Cel, I'm with yous guys. SpongeBob has waaaay too much whining and yelling for my tastes. My brother's cherubs (aka the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse) live and breathe for it. (Although I must say that I am amused by Gary the Snail (why DOES he "meow"?). Lately, my kids are into classic cartoons on Boomerang. Flintstones, Jetsons, Wally Gator, and - get this ! - Hong Kong Phooey. :rotfl: All are preferable over Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Bakugan and their ilk. Blech!

I sent CBM on a mission to Staples (aaaaah! such a welcome respite!), so I just got the chance to watch the vid clip you posted, Mony...your DD is darling! Such a cutie!

Goog Afternoon!

I got my highspeed hooked up yesterday, so I've been addicted today.

To everyone who I sent a friend request to: It was from me. Please accept it. ;)

Can't read back today.

I'll start fresh tomorrow.

twinks - I'm in bookkeeping/accounting mode today. (I posted over 200 payments and takebacks! and balanced a clinic's two year old remit issue! woo hoo!)

all of this to say, I really don't get what mal's group is doing. :confused3
please splain.

bloodhound - I used to like cartoon network when they had powerpuff girls, but no more.

Allie- that is a huge VBS! I am laughing at your chronically late mom.

I have to admit that I :rotfl: behind closed doors. :ssst: Oh, and she stayed with the littlest one in class. Which is a goog thing because her youngest doesn't like to be away from her.

I've been in the church all my life and I have never been apart of such amazing VBS's that this church puts on. I think it's because we have a lot of men who help construct amazing things (i.e. Sea of Galilee, Submarines, spaceships, Paul's boat that actually shipwrecked, etc.) Hence why we do VBS at night so the men can participate. We also use all of our youth, as Learning Guides (taking the kids around to their different stations) Learning Center workers and skit performers.

Mony-- so cute and a natural, she must be a great listener to get all the moves right.

Lil'g -- you do have a hat like that I believe....but your dress is a little longer.:lmao:

Pumba-- I am sure they will give you some good drugs again. It must be hard with one good eye, two is much better. Yay on your up coming trip.

Not a Sponge Bob fan either. My kids have now moved to Hannah Montana and Suite Life.

The zoo went well today. Only had two girls and Hannah. One girl was so tiny we had to lift her up to see some of the animals. Also had to walk slower because she has pretty little legs. Mind you I think I did something to my foot. We were playing in the play ground and they have a spinning ride thing there so I was giving them a ride and went over on my foot. Thought I walked it off but it is all puffed up and hurts like....now.

Didn't lose anyone but did lose one of the girls water bottles. Plus we may or may not have grass stains all over our shorts and shirts from rolling down a giant hill.:rolleyes1

And a question for you , why would a grade one student need a cell phone. The mother came along on the trip and this child was on the phone the whole way back and did say it was his.:confused3 Cell phones are not allowed at school either.

Pumba, good luck tomorrow! You are going to be my role model!

Mony, Mal was definitely the best and so cute!
