Looking like a beautiful morning here! VBSs are over so football camp today.

Good/bad news: DSIL got the job she applied for so now our trip in Sept. is very iffy. I'm working on a friend and her daughter just in case. I booked the airline tickets so does anyone know how hard it is to change the names?

In other news....My trip to the beach turns out NOT to be the week of July 4th ie the week I asked off for at work. Turns out DSIL couldn't get the house the week she wanted and forgot to tell me. I'm not sure we'll be going now after all.

Deadliest Catch Star goes to Epcot
The Norway pavilion at Epcot will host Sig Hansen. He is one of the stars on the reality series on The Discovery Channel, "The Deadliest Catch." He will appear in-park July 10-13, 2008. Hansen will be inside The Puffin's Roost, the pavilion's merchandise location, each day. He will be joined by his brothers, Edgar and Norman Hansen, who also appear on the show.

Well I am off to run errands. Last week to do it without the kids. And I have a field trip to the zoo tomorrow with the grade 2's again...and last day is Thursday so I really only got three days.....

WT tells us that he and his brothers get into all sorts of trouble

Melinda- Double drats on having the wrong beach week and changes to your September trip. I have the bad feeling that changing names on airfare is big dot deal involving lots of money. I hope everything works out

Speaking of EX's, I was mortified when we went to the Star Wars Event Friday night and I look over to see Tim speaking to mine. Only because I went in my sweats, and didn't care what I looked like attitude cause we'd be watching a movie in the dark.

It wasn't dark yet! I don't think he ever saw me without makeup, before.

I also have this rule about meeting up with ex'es only after I've lost the baby weight, which I haven't done yet, so I made sure the topic of conversation was all about Tim.

OHHHH, I hear you on the "seeing your ex" thing!!! I once had the BEST experience with this very thing ('sept not at Star Wars event). AFTER I lost a ton of weight and was feeling goooood about myself, I encountered my ex. Prolly the most satisfying "HA-HA" moment of my whole life

It has been confirmed.

Names on plane tickets cannot be changed.

You must cancel and rebook at the going rate. Which is 125% more than the original tickets. Which were SUPER cheap. Less than $190 each....round trip and non-stop both ways.

Sounds like a racket to me.

So DD is at Miracle Camp - last year you could go to miraclecamp.com and send her an email - easy peasy!! THIS year, I have to register anyone who wants to email her, AND then I have to make sure to check the free spot - or else if I want to spend $14 and $10 for "BUNK1 bucs" I then can add "special" things like borders, and puzzles.... May I just say this is SOoooo STUPID!

also at miraclecamp.com when I went to register her - they have video of the news when the week before camps started high winds hit and knocked down over 10 trees, and blew the roof off of one cabin!! So they got a trial run of severe weather - serious! I actually feel MUCH better for that!!

Seamus and Mattie are doing great - if you count the "surprise" package Mattie left for dh!! at 6am WELL, it is his BIRTHDAY!!

If you have your picture taken with him please do post. I doubt he would sign your Goofy hat since we know the hat is just a ruse and you don't actually wear it to Epcot. Maybe you could get a different goofy hat for him to sign?
