Pumba, YAY for the potential house.. But I thought you didnt want stairs anymore?

Lynt, that kitty is totally adorable! I'll trade you for my 15 yr old who is litter trained :flower3:

Sandy, yay for the marathong (not me!!) I subbed on your pre-trippie.

Hubby and DD were in South Dakota when I talk to them at about 2pm and were planning on spending the night near Mt. Rushmore, and then the final leg tomorrow. Which gives hubby a full 4 vacation days with the kids without me, GRRRRRRRRRRR!

I'm totally wiped out tonight for no good reason, so I think I will make it an early night, which is totally unlike me. I kept yawning through our new directors presentation about her life this afternoon, LOL.

Lynnt I do like my friends I've not met yet (anyone hearing The Muppets? Rainbow Connection?)

Marita hope you caught up on some sleep! Mt Rushmore! What a trip, we really should do a road trip - I just dont like sitting in the car

Thank you for subbing! I dont mind talking to myself - I like having things in one place! But its better interacting with people! :goodvibes Hope to pick up some Half Marathon Newbies from WISH board

DARN DOGS! I didnt allow my 2 boys to wrestle - I am NOT allowing the dogs to wrestle - and yes, its cute, but it gets out of hand - I have a water bottle I squirt when my YELLLING doesnt work! STOP IT! Good Grief - I took them for a 40 min walk, and they just pace - then I have these HUGE bones that are supposed to be indestructible - they only want the one the other one has! (ok that can be comical - because like children they each instigate the other one ) My Zeus tends to go for under Teddy (um OUCH!) so Teddy tends to grab Z by the scruff of the neck - or fling him by his collar! sheehs! ENOUGH!

(they do listen to the hand flat palm down - Yelling DOWN! they just dont stay down!)

On Houses with one floor like a ranch...around here the square footage isnt as much as we would like for space......so this one is a split .....but the playroom is down four steps and the upstairs is up six steps.......but then I realized that my mom and mil were both in their 90s and doing stairs......I can do it.....YES I CAN......hahaha.......fingers crossed still.....havent heard from the furnace guy ..he said it takes a few days to get all the estimate stuff in.......geesh...all we wanted was a ROUGH estimate....

I look at that photo of that dear little boy that was found dead in Maine......How could someone put his body by the side of a road and leave.....no results on the autopsy yet......breaks my heart.......

That kitten is adorable........I would love to have her up near my head and purr....it is such a comforting noise........love it..

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY......it is so depressing to not be able to go out and walk and walk and enjoy the day........

Today is my day off......so enjoying sitting in my housecoat but I guess it is time to dress myself up.

Will have some chicken livers for lunch too......YUMMY.
bye

After 3 nights with out much sleep from coughing I finally went to the doctor.

It is not a cold ....every once in awhile I would cough until I throw up phelgm. So I know it was not a cold because it was clear. It got to the point were even sitting up to sleep didn't work anymore. He gave me a cough surpressant and something for allergies. Hope this works. My chest is killing me from coughing. I know when it is coming but still bad if you are in a store gagging or in the car where I can't get out. This year it is worse then others for this so I finally went to get it checked out.

Our first baseball game was canceled last night , next one is not Thursday and if you can believe the weather man we won't play that one due to rain either.

No rain so far today but it cloudy out there. Running around getting Hannah's birthday present for tomorrow. I got her a good wire basket for her bike so she can put her doll, stuff etc in there for a ride. And when she is bigger she can go get me milk at the corner store. :lmao:

Sandy -- the dogs do sound like children.

Twinkie -- Hope your day is going better today. How is the little princess doing?

Thanks for asking NAB.

The weekend was pretty rough. She was so miserable! I was tired and watching her be miserable was :guilty: also I was pretty worried because she wasn't drinking and then she started throwing up.

This is one of the the most painful surgeries and she hates the pain meds.

Long story short, a IRL friend-nurse stopped by on Sunday and encouraged me to be a bit more aggressive with the doctor (not hers the on call surgeon) and we got a script for anti-nausea meds She doesn't like them either but I made her (I hate that part) and yesterday and today she is MUCH better. She is drinking some and keeping it down. She just looks much more like herself in spirits.

She still isn't managing the pain (either that or her pain tolerance is through the rough). I let her call the shots on that during the day and make her take one dose of the good stuff before bed. Anyway- she is tired but sleeping through the night.

Poor kid only wants to eat what she can't have (my kingdom for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich). We are trying everything to get her to drink. Orange juice works the best but she did like the cheescake milkshake I made:thumbsup2

Survived Graduation without a tear too! It was a wonderful ceremony! Also, they streamed it live so the Grandparents got to watch it from the comfort of their homes. :thumbsup2 Somehow my dad was able to take pictures from the screen...don't really know how he did that. :confused3 I am so glad they didn't come. Don't get me wrong, I wanted them there, but I wasn't sure that they would be able to sit that long, and I know they would not have been able to navigate the masses entering the arena. {Think rope drop at Disney, but in a VERY confined space} It got nasty at times too.

Anyway, I am the mother of a high school graduate, and I am SO proud of him! :goodvibes

Dang, swollowed post!
Let's try this again.

Twinkie, I feel so bad for you DD. Hope she is better soon. I wish they prescribed better drugs. (and I am thinking of myself for next week too, Advil sounds so lame), but I know her situation is far worse. :grouphug:

Hubby and DD safely arrived in Montana, YAY!. Now I can switch from worrying mode to jealous mode, LOL.

I'm so dang tired lately, I decided to take vitamins, and indescriminately picked from DH's 5 gazillion bottles. Iron, multivitamins, blah blah. I picked 4 but may pick a few more just to cover all bases.

/
Martia -- I don't blame you for being jealous, I would be too.

Twinkie-- Can't imagine what your little girl is going though. Hang in there , hope the coming days it gets better and better.

Allie-- That is cool they streamed it. I can imagine what it would be like to charge for seats. We just got the invite to Nicholas grade 8 grad mass and cermony. They said there well be no saving seats at all and that only imediate family can come do to limited space in the church.Even wrote down if coats are there to save the seat it will be removed by teachers.....
Every proud moment for you indeed.

Moo-- your sisters made in the top two spots. I hope Irene makes it the third spot. She really deserves , she was the top loser at the ranch so I do not know how she is not in the top two. Jay just seems off to me, he should have lost more.

Sorry I wasn't around last night - yet another evening work meeting.

Aw, Twink - So sorry to hear your daughter's having such a rough time :grouphug: I was wondering if that was what was going on when I saw your Vin D. post over yonder. Hope things improve daily!

w00t, Pumba! Hope the house works out for you :)

CONGRATS, Allie!

Nabbie - I was pretty happy about tonight's BL outcome! I hope Irene wins the viewers' votes :goodvibes Because it would be SO awesome to have another woman win after having guys take the last few!!!

Marita - Glad your hubby and DD made it to Montana :thumbsup2 Try to enjoy your alone time!

Well, I think I have finagled a long weekend trip to WDW in mid-June. I'm going to some training in Clearwater and am planning to rent a car to drive to WDW afterward and will use some of my DVC points to stay at Beach Club Villas and Boardwalk (hoping to get my waitlist request so I can stay the whole weekend at BCV). I haven't visited WDW on my own for a while, but am open if anyone is interested in a mini-meet, LOL!

I just spent a frigging HOUR trying to fix my internet connection. So much for going to bed early ................... At least I got it fixed. So good night, all!

I will vouch that this years allergies are the worst .......EVER....I cough when I dont want to and cant stop it......clear nose junk and throat junk......yes I know ALLERGIES.......I took zertec one year ...script type and omg I was out for the count......I really have a hard time taking meds.......Vicks 44 used to knock me out...My symptoms started in Disney and then when we got home to green stuff and yellow stuff on the grounds....YUP allergies again.

heard from our realtor and she said that the listing realtor hadnt heard from England yet....so will give them another day.......PLEASE........I am sitting here on pins and needles .....should also hear from the furnace man too.....

Owning two houses for the time being will be a major disaster probably.....two sets of bills......Hope that when we DO hear and get into the new one that we can get this one ready for the realtor to come and put this one on the mkt...

Graduations are such a great time .....and it goes so fast ...Our granddaughter would of graduated from college this year with a degree in Bio and a minor in Chemistry......but she is now a P2...that is a pharamcist two ..so two years of studies and one year of internships.......big sigh for her..

hope you all have a great day and it is AGAIN raining (what else is new) and it is chilly willy.....

Raining here again too. They cancelled his second baseball game on Thursday because the fields are a mess with puddles.

Really just want to go back to bed but have to make a giant cookie for Hannah's birthday today. We measured her this morning and she grow three inches since her last birthday. She is now 4' 8.

Moo-- lucky you to do a long week in June at WDW. I have know idea what we are going to do this summer.

I know Aug. Nicholas has to get his high school stuff sorted out and uniforms bought. Kids don't get out here unitl the end of June. Which really isn't too long now. This month is flying by.

Pumba-- hope you hear from your realtor about the house. I hated house hunting, worse I hated the waiting when selling a house.

The dogs are not settling- its raining (more like 'spitting' not real rain, just wet coming from the sky!) but I still went out there for a 25 min walk - a little over a mile!

but, I have 4 major bones - 2 Kongs and dang if these dogs arent like siblings - whatever one has, the other one wants - I'll get Z settled chewing on a bone, and Teddy saunters over, and snatches it - or vice a versa! (mostly with the 4 bones - they keep trading them - driving me crazy!)

Allie No tears! WTG Steve! WTG School for live streaming - hope things settled down for you!

Twink :grouphug: May you and your dd find peace and strength, that you overcome this pain and rise above stronger and better! One day at a time seems like a long time - I'm sure you are more one hour at a time... hugs Glad you found time to check in - we continue to come together to lift your dd in prayer - may the medications continue to help heal her -

Moo Pick ME pick me!! :donald: (Donald for the Half Marathon - doing the Donald in Jan! :rotfl:) I'm just a little bit crazy!! Its fun to plan - to think about being there- a vacation!!! BCV :woohoo: Hope the waitlist comes through :wizard: Have you eaten at the Big River Grille? we're not going to do a dining plan - so its on our list now!

Nab Those meds were supposed to be able to help you sleep! Hope the spring goes fast! I do hate the hoopla with the 8th grade graduation here! DD was disappointed she didnt get a letter from the school yesterday (they announce through mail their special awards for 8th grade award night. Sad that she isnt getting anything, she went from D's and F's - stubborn mostly, power struggling with teachers in 6, 7th grade - to this year? STRAIGHT A's - - for the WHOLE year!! :woohoo: She figured it out!

but I really dont want to fight people for seats, parking, etc - - for 8th grade!

Pumba :wizard: Hope you hear what you need for the furnace, and realtors - :scared1: 2 houses? It will all work out!

Marita Maybe you can sleep now not having to worry about them on the road! And Dream of being there? :woohoo: Girl Power you fixed your internet!!

Summer Camps anyone? DD wants to go to Ball State Bassoon camp - she downloaded the application - and filled it out, DH gave her the $50 deposit and said, "um dear, did you see how much it cost?" I'm thinking, $350 :confused3 um no - $750!! :faint:

plus I want her to go to the church Leadership Lab - each camp is one week, and they stay on a University campus - so it includes room and board... Leadership Lab is $400 - hoping I can get her a scholarship for one of those camps...

I told dh she needs to be in Boy Scouts - go to Boy Scout Camp high adventure (a week of canoeing or hiking!)

Twink: You know I am thinking and praying for you and your lil princess. Keep up the good work! Are you ready to trade in your lab coat for a nurse's uniform yet? lol. Hang in there!

Lynt: Awww. What a cutie. I am glad you clarified that the hand in the picture belonged to your friend Kevin. (Seinfeld....man hands....:rolleyes1)

Nab: Happy Birthing Day to you!!

Allie: Congrats to your graduate! I cannot believe we will be going through the same thing next year with my dd. Graduations always remind me of one of my favorite quotes..."The greatest gift we can give a child is roots. The second is wings". *sigh* So bittersweet to see the baby babynurses growing up.

Moo: I think we will miss you at WDW. We are planning for an end of June/first of July trip. Sooooooooooooooooooo excited!

Marita: We need a new computer. Ours keeps crashing. So I feel you on the internet frustration. Ugh!:badpc:

Sandy: We have several summer camps the boys are going to. They are all sports related. (football, basketball, baseball). I swear I am working just so they can play sports!!!

Pumba:
We owned two houses for about 4 months one time. It was not an easy road, but thankfully we made it. Hope everything works out for you.

Everybodee: Hope you are doing well. Have a good one!

I am just sickened about that poor little boy, Pumba! There are rumblings that the mother overmedicated him accidentally. Not sure if that's the case, but the idea of leaving him like that! The whole situation makes me sick inside. :sad1:

Thanks...Belle's a cutie, for sure! She loves to sit up on my shoulder or up under my chin. It's cute, but I don't know how much I'll like it in August. Heh.

But then again, if this cold, rainy weather keeps up, August will be 52 degrees. Ack!

Lynt: Awww. What a cutie. I am glad you clarified that the hand in the picture belonged to your friend Kevin. (Seinfeld....man hands....:rolleyes1)

Ha! That's exactly WHY I clarified! I figured someone (you) would say something about it! :rotfl:

Twink, poor little Princess! I can't imagine being in her shoes....or yours, for that matter. I know it's so frustrating and maddening to see your child in pain and not be able to fix it! I'm still praying for you both!

Not commenting on anything, cause I am near comatose.

I was so tired this morning, didnt male ito tp work till almost 11. Maybe I should stat eating fettuccino again, LOL

I was about to go to bed really early for me, at about 10:45, until I realized I didnt curl my hair after taking an shower, and we have a meeting with the new director tomorrow morning. So I fired up the pc again.

Report from Montana today: DD got beat by hills and altitude trying to run and there is nothing to do there. Good thing I planned on doing noting threre but pulling weeds and cooking when I get there, LOL.

bbn - Sorry I will be missing your family at WDW!!! I have messaged with Peej and she has warned me about the summer heat :scared: I spent a summer in Florida when I was 15, but I was much skinnier then and we stayed in the AC or in/by the pool most of the time! The hottest times I've been down there since then have been mid-May and late September, I think.

Sandy - I have eaten at Big River Grille once before, but that's about it on the Boardwalk. I was thinking I'd like to try Kouzzina this time, but I'm not sure if any reservations are available. Haven't got quite that far yet, but I did book my flight and rental car tonight :cool1: It looks like the hotel in Clearwater should be pretty nice - it's right on the beach, but we'll be in meetings all day. Hope to be able to walk along the water in the evening though, if the heat isn't TOO awful!

When is the Donald marathon? We're staying at least one night in January after the cruise, I think on the 7th.

Marita - You'll have to let me know when you'll be back from Montana!

Nabbie - I'm so excited to get a little trip in :goodvibes It is helping to motivate me to start exercising again

Lynette - Forgot to say how cute Belle is! Thanks to you and Mony for keeping up with our games over yonder :) I am trying not to watch the news lately because it just depresses me. Although, I did find our former Governor Granholm's tweet about Arnold pretty funny this week: Another guy guv admits 2 cheating on his wife. Maybe we need more women governors. Guys: keep ur pants zipped, for Pete's sake.

Geesh!

Twinkie, hope the little princess is feeling better :grouphug:

Moo, I get back 6/19, right in the middle of budgets, but maybe we can squeeze in a lunch or dinner. (plug for Le Cellier, I can't get the risotto right)
I took about 6 horsepills of vitamins the last 2 days, im so dang tired mornings and nights, very annoying!

On the Montana front, I hear there is nothing to do there (surprise, we heard that fom DS all along). SO I am waiting to see how long DD is actually going to stay there. But she does have a REf job for Lacrosse in Colorado sometime, so that may influence things.
I have to say, having only myself at home sure cuts down on doing dishes!

Marita - Lunch or dinner that day would work for me (I'm heading home the next morning), but unless you can pull some strings, I'm pretty sure it'll be difficult to get into Le Cellier!
