I like the clocks going back in the Fall. Extra sleep and it is actually light out now in the morning to send Nicholas off to school.

Unfortunetly it will be dark earlier so that is not nice. But can't have it both ways.

Yesterday was so nice weather wise. Everyone was outside, raking leaves so the grass could be cut, Nicholas was out playing street hockey all day. From after church to supper time. That is a long time.

Marita-- so your behind the mystery doors , where the check in person goes to get a question anwered if she doesn't know.

Back to Monday ....swimming , youth group and sending hubby to work tonight. What an exciting life I lead.

morning..

My wardrobe always consisted of at least one pair of black pants and a black skirt......good basis for flowery tops or good colored tops...then the interchangeable dull red skirt with the tops that go with the basic black ones too...I love change..I have some great jeans too..

today the sun was greeting us as I opened the blinds and 23 degrees....so a little chilly but the sun makes up for it...

Started to look at air fare for our May jaunt to the house of the mouse....we are almost to the 180 date (HMMM wonder what that means)...hahaha...daughter in law wants princess breakfast at Noway...we loved it when we went two years ago with them...well worth the time and money spent with great interaction and FOOD...

Granddaughter called and is coming this weekend with her beau......I am so happy...love to have them come and visit....

I guess time is here to pay the bills on line and get those out of the way..
Have a great day my friends..

Pumba - Could it be LeCellier ressies??! Or do you have other preferred places to eat? ;)

Nabbie - Today was easier for me even though I didn't fall asleep until quite late! My body just prefers getting up "later".

My sister is waffling a bit on joining me in Frankenmuth :( She is going to be working retail as holiday help and has training until 2:00 that day, but I told her that we could probably arrange to have a later dinner so she could still make it. I'll keep you posted and we can PM closer to the day about a meeting time.

I finally had an ingrown toenail taken care of this afternoon. They did a great job of numbing it so I haven't had any pain so far, thank goodness. Hope it stays that way!

YES we love Le Cellier.....love the soup and the pretzel bread and most of all the prime rib...it was always good when we had it...but who knows..

and then Tutto Italia had the best strip steak....it melted in our mouths ...we enjoyed eating there and NOPE we didnt do the Italian stuff.......

BUT we love Biergarten and Crystal Palace and Earl of Sandwich......OH I CAN HARDLY WAIT NOW...have you ever gone to the restaurant board and looked at the food porn......it is something else...I can drool looking at it..

I have the next two days off.........wonder what I can do...all the way out here in the outskirts and I dont drive......did I forget to tell you all that before...

OH WELL...have a good night peeps

Moo, depending on how forecast goes, I can join you all for lunch. After the disaster with the new labor forecasting system this last month, I just dont know yet, I to wait and see. I imagine I can probably make lunch though.'

Pumba, I were black pants all the time to work (only ones that fit anymore ), but no black tops.
Can you get a bike to ride somewhere (with a shopping basket and 3 wheels maybe?), or are you really way out in the boonies?

Nab, you could get to my office that way, throught the back office, but there is a door to the right near the restrooms, short hallway and then door to the Admin offices. Nothing fancy by any means

Khaki and I took the boat to EOS today for lunch and I tried the Holiday turkey sandwich that gets so much hype. I am not a turkey lover at all, but that is one great sandwich Only offered during the holiday season (till Jan 8, I think) Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy and special mayo and their yummy bread. Having the second half for dinner tonight, yumm!

oh Marita..you made me laugh out loud...I really can ride a two wheeler....and I had visions of me looking like this elderly lady that rides the three wheeler......she is like in her 80s ...oh no.....I am not quite there but getting older...I got a two wheeler for my 40th birthday...it was a 20 inch bmx huffy and the kids in the neighborhood wanted me to go riding with them....and on my 45th birthday I got a remote control car...I just gave it to my son and his son...it was like 300 bucks back in the old days...hahaha.....I did get a grown up gift when I hit the big 50...Emerald earrings...my birthstone...I do need another bike now though......one that is age appropriate......

I love Earl ...my favorite is THE FULL MONTAGU...but wish I had tried the holiday one when we were there a few years back during December.....

Yummm, Pumba! I love the cheese soup and pretzel rolls too!!!!!!! I'm so looking forward to our lunch there. That may be about all I can eat there any more, LOL.

I wandered over to the dining board tonight and saw a really scathing report about Crystal Palace. We loved it when we went a few years ago :goodvibes Guess different people have different tastes and every place has their off days.

Marita - We have our lunch ressie at LeCellier that day and I don't think I'll be willing to give it up, so it may need to be an afternoon snack or early dinner that we get together for if you can get away!!! Should I see if I can get a larger table? Might be pretty difficult at this point.

Yay for getting over to EOS for lunch. I have also been reading about that holiday turkey sandwich. Sounds delish :thumbsup2

Well, the numbness has worn off and my toe is starting to hurt a bit tonight. Guess it's time to take some Tylenol.

/
Moo, sorry about your toe, ouch!
Don't worry about a larger table now, I'm sure they will be able to squeeze an extra 1 chair in if need be Keep your ressie by all means.

Pumba, glad I made you laugh, LOL. I was just thinking about riding to a store somewhere and having a place to put bags.

Pumba--You don't drive....I have an aunt that doesn't drive either. Didn't get my licence until I was 27 before that I was too scared but so glad I did. My other aunt got her license when she was in her 40's.

We live out in a small town and with all the driving around I do with the kids I would have a totally different life without my license.

These last couple of days I wish I lived in a city. The farmers are spraying their field and the smell is awful out there.

Not much happening around here, Nicholas football team lost yesterday so that is the end of the season for them. This was there semi play off game. I am doing a silent happy dance because I won't have to wash muddy uniforms and he won't miss anymore classes. He was falling behind in Science really bad. Don't know why they don't do the games after school. :confused3

Should start Christmas shopping and decorating soon. I teased Hannah I wasn't going to put a tree up this year because we were going away right after Christmas and don't want to come home to a tree and stuff and have all the work it takes to put it all away.

Nab, I hate down christmas decoration too, shudder

My only news of the day is one that will make some of you jealous, I fear.

We had an event today for all of the WDW Finance organization, several hundred people. Food & Wine festival, and they gave us all $15 gift cards:thumbsup2

After hanging at the meetng place for about an hour (where they served up snacks and soft drinks) and seeing a lot of old faces from the past, we went from Canada around the World. Well, 1/2 the world in my case I got a Grey Goose slushy I read about a lot in France ($10 :scared1:) , then a beer and goulash soup in Germany. This is where I said so long to my group, sat on a bench and finised my beer, then looked around the shops a little. Saw some cute snowman ornaments for xmas I considered getting with my 40% holiday discount, but they were $19.95 each!! No thanks! The took the boat over to the front where I got another small beer Had a funny guy on the tram that kept making jokes on the ride. Back to regular work tomorrow, and then I am taking Friday off again. Ended up paying about $8 OOP, which isn't bad at all, considering the one drink set me back 10 bucks. Oh, and it was a perfect day too, 80 and sunny, but my shoes were killing me!

My toe is feeling better today - no pain, thank goodness!

Pumba - My grandma never drove due to being blind in one eye since she was a child, but I really think that helped her stay fit when she was older because she would frequently walk to the store to pick up a few groceries.

Nabbie - Hope Nicholas can crack down on his schoolwork now that football is over! We are also debating about how much Christmas decorating we're going to do this year. Just talked with my hubby about that earlier tonight. We are definitely not putting up the big tree this year.

Now my sister thinks she can come with me to Frankenmuth if we're able to meet for supper instead of at lunch time. I think we could be up there by 5:00ish. Please let me know if that will work for your family. I can call ahead for a reservation this time so we won't have to wait in line so long!!!

Marita - Good for you for enjoying the World today!!! Aren't those slushies yummy??! I just plunk down my credit card when I buy those expensive bevvies and such because I'm on VACATION ;) I would have splurged and got the snowman ornaments, but maybe you have your eye on something else. A 40% discount would be great! Surprised that you didn't get Canadian cheese soup, LOL!

WE got our AIR last night......and talked our daughter into going with us too...SO DISNEY has me excited again..

I would like to try a slushie some time there too...
BUT I am a cheap drinker....one drink and I could
be under someones table...but I do enjoy a beer
in Epcot when it is hot...
ONE time I had a rainbow margarita and it was 90 degrees
out and we walked by the China acrobats and we were
on our way to Morocco for dinner.....so add those up..
DRINK, hot, and empty stomach..I was slightly tipsy..

I am so excited now to be able to have our daughter
with us in Disney...the last time she went with us was
2002 with the whole family...this will be awesome..
our son, dil, and two munchkins are going with us too.
SO we are ready...

Moo, great your toe is feeling better!

Pumba, so exciting for you that your family will be there too, that's great.

I got an email today at work for 20-25% off at Disney Stores or Disney Stores online to forward to friends and family. I tried to email it, but Moo, I don't have your email for some reason, and Pumba, your's came back. So if you pm me your email addies, I will forward it. I think Nab's went through.

My "excitement" today was getting totally lost in Celebration, trying to get to a meeting. I put the address in the navigator, but it only had Ave, not Blvd. So I said ok, let's try it. Well, it put me in the middle of a residential area with no signs, not a single person on the streets to ask. I kept driving around in circles, I think. Finally I landed behind a Fedex truck. The driver helped me get out of the maze and gave me enough directions to get there about a minute after I needed to be. Luckily, people were still milling arond the hallway, so I made it on time, Whew!!

getting lost is not on our plan...

Thanks Marita...I am going to go and look over the Disney store Site and see whats up..

IT is pouring like it would be in Disney in September.......you know the cloud opens up and drops a bucket of water on us...

Today was one of those days...Ava was a stinker this morning and then commenced to taking a two hour nap....end of the uglies....she was so good after...I love her ugly or not but GOOD GOLLY she has an attitude for three years old..She came at 8 and said she wanted pancakes for breakfast......so I said ...how about an eggie sandwich (one of her favorites that I make) and she said NOOOOOOOOOO I want pancakes...so I made pancakes and we are having them tomorrow too.....put them in saran wrap and in the fridge...

Tomorrow grandaughter and beau are coming......I am anxious...then shopping on Saturday in North COnway NH....going to have a good time I can tell...
MY dear niece in upstate NY hit a deer the other night coming home at eleven pm from the polls...she was running the local one in her district...she hurt her knee and chest but other then that she is very lucky.....the county vehicle is a mess..But dear Shannon is okey..

HOpe you all have a good night

11-11-11

I will be showing my respect at this time 11:00 to all ther soldiers that gave up there lives and to the peace keepers still out there. Thank you so much for your service so we can live free.

Suppose to be a lucky day too. Lots of weddings today I bet.

Yesterday it was so cold I finally brought out the winter coat. It was -2 . Some places west and north of us got snow. We even got a small snow shower at lunch but it just melted by the time it hit the ground.

Now today it is beautiful and back to sweater weather. I'm glad because my niece is getting married today. She is having a small affair with immediate family , grandparents , god parents. She never wanted to get married but her parents pushed the two since they have two little girls that are barely 1 and almost 2. Two babies really.

I am just doing some cleaning and some of this :laundy: Changed all the beds. Everyone now has clean flannel sheets on. Hannah is bugging me to get the Christmas stuff up too. Need to clean first and I am running out of steam. Got my room and bathroom done and 4 loads of wash.

Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday!

Nabbie - I had a nice, relaxing Saturday after going to some craft shows with a couple friends yesterday since we had Veterans Day off work! I'm looking forward to our mini-meet next weekend, but found out on Thursday that it may coincide with my friend's daughter's hockey game that I had wanted to go to since their game schedule got changed. I'll have to see whether she will be goaltending at the Saturday game or the Sunday game. Hopefully, it will be Sunday so I can do both things!!!

Pumba - Yay for getting your air settled :) It's always wonderful to have our next WDW visit planned, isn't it? :cloud9:

Marita - I decided to save my spending money until my trip, but thanks for the great offer!

I have been enjoying reading some more cruise/trip reports this weekend :goodvibes

yesterday was a fantastic day..

Half of Maine, NH, and Mass and a few huge busses of Canadians were there...We went into almost every store outlet in this area...it is called Settlers something or other......I got a pair of sneakers at one store and they had stickers on every pair for 20.00...Asiscs or something like that....like walking in bedroom slippers...I tried them on at the beginning of our day and didnt buy them until we walked back at the end of the day...they still felt great..so I bought them..

every store had sales from 20 percent off to 50 percent off plus another 20 or thirty off....even the coach store had purses for 30 percent off......nothing that got me excited but my granddaughter was...she has a small one that she got last March that she loves........ALOT OF MONEY to hold what is left of your money in...I love this area too...we could see the White Mts region with snow on the top...LOVE IT..

The dang woodpecker must of visited yesterday as now we have four holes and two more started....Today we heard it and hubby went out and said wonder how he will peck with a bullet up his......you know what....laughed at that......it isnt the pilated one but a small one that wants to make noise and peck till his heart is full..

have a good day everyone

We had another mild day here again today so I thought I better clean out my back gardens and get the leaves bagged up before my luck runs out. It is the last week for pick up anyway. I have 4 full bags to go out. I'm sure I will be sore tomorrow. I got a blister on my hand from raking too.

Nicholas was so happy when he came home, he got a 92% on his english project. Plus he was talking about chemistry to hubby last night and said he didn't get one thing so they went over that and some other stuff that turned out to be what they were being taught today so they thought he was pretty smart.... And to top it all off his copy of Harry Potter's newest movie came today. It was suppose to be here on Friday but the post didn't go on Remembrance day so it was a day behind. All is right in his world right now.

Hannah gets her first progress report tomorrow but her teacher already wrote in her agenda that I do not need an interview with him so I know it must be ok. I have talked to him in the yard a few times so I don't have to met him for the first time at an interview either.

So a big sigh of relieve for now....I'm sure something we pop up and upset the boat but for now all is good.

I did not know that 14 year old need ed to get their immunization again. All three things just like when they turned one. Diphtheria,Pertussis and Tetanus. Said if I didn't get it by Nov. 24th he would be supended from school.

Moo-- Hope everything works out for us and we can still do our mini meet.

Nabbie - I hope we can still get together too, but my sister e-mailed me that she wasn't feeling great. Lots of bugs going around lately. I'll keep you posted!
