Waiting for Ava to come and visit with me.......she was a stinker yesterday...the horrible 2's are coming a little after the two and a half mark.....

I know what you mean about that. Grasshopper (now 3.5) was the perfect baby/child until one day about that age and

I now wish for the blissful days when manna on the floor was the worst preschool mess.

Marita - Glad you made it home safely yesterday! I was in a grumpy mood yesterday so I took a vacation day and stayed home. Were you "sick" today?!

Pumba - Sorry the house was a bust Hope you and Lynette don't get as much snow as they predicted

Nabbie - I was bummed that Jen went home instead of Rulon on BL, but she was looking great! And what a crummy prize Olivia got for finding the golden egg. Their getting to meet James Marsden sure was a big surprise!!!

Moo, indeed i was sick today (cough!!). Another blustery rainy stormy day. Not too bad at my house though, just rain all day, sometimes hard, sometimes more drizzly. But more trees uprooted in the area.
Tomorrow is supposed to be perfect and sunny, go figure And I already had a day off scheduled. I HAVE to get nails done tomorrow, they are too long to type in my laptop, and Saturday I am going to a housewarming and Sunday bowling, so it's the only day.

Big announcement today, lots of shuffles at the higher level, new VP and Director. Not that that will likely impact me any, but you never know how this affects the organizational goals and priorities. so it remains to be seen.

actually he won't be married until next week. not that i have a giant calendar next to my bed with great big frownie faces counting down the days or anything..




but thank you for bringing a smile to my face. i was just remarking to someone that michael is one of my "happy places". whenever i need to chill or relax i pop in a cd and do just that.


ive been a little stressed as my gma has been in the hospital. she had to have unexpected surgery and was doing ok yest evening but it took forever in recovery. well they finally came out and told us she had to be put on a ventilator because the anesthesia suppressed her breathing. she was sent to icu.



hence i am browsing the interwebs trying to numb my brain whilst sitting in a very uncomfortable chair whilst at the hospital.


im so very tired. but sleep is for sissies, right?

Snow is coming down really heavy..practically all the schools and colleges up and down the whole state are closed...just heard that granddaughter has a snow day....gives her a chance to do her work because she started her job at the hospital pharmacy ...and they dont get out until eleven thirty..but she is only working three days a week so she can still maintain her good grades...

My daughters rotti ...had another seizure yesterday.....one was not quite two weeks ago and then yesterday......they already had the blood work done and check up so she will call and get in and then get her some meds for it....the doggies brother has been on seizure meds for over two years.....so I guess it must be hereditary in that line...Poor Crazee Dazee..

Today is CAREER DAY at my kids' school. I thought you would all get a kick out of there costumes/career choices.

Twinkerbell is going as a magazine reporter/photographer.
Princess Twink is going as a Photopass photographer which is just her summer job because she really wants to be the President.

Goldenchild is going as...... a ninja. I didn't suggest this but he is seriously stoked about his future career and told me that when he grew up he couldn't live with me anymore because he needed to live with the ninjas.

10. Pumba is buying a second home in northern Canada so she can have more time enjoying the snow.

9. Marita and Moo have decided to forgo retirement and in fact start a business together because they both thrive on stress.

8. Lil G is getting a Wolverine tattoo and not because he lost a bet.

7. MommyP has decided that swimming is a frivolous waste of time and is never going to to the beach or pool again.

6. Babynurse is going vegan and in fact, also giving up all carbonated beverage and processed food.

5. Lynt's kids are flunking out of school. Probably because she refused to have them in upteen sports, artistic, musical and educational enrichment activitites.

4. PJ has decided to go old school and get rid of her cell phone.

3. NAB is emigrating to the US because our Smarties are superior.

2. Celery, UtahMama and Mony are dropping out of school to form a band.

1. BDG is not going to WDW this year but instead taking his family vacationing at Math Camp.

Nab...google weather.com and look for Maine......you can see what we have....its disgusting........ROFL..

The plows have been by a half dozen times so far......the weather channel said we were going to get warm temps next week and then rain on two or so days....over flowing streams and rivers I can see it coming....

I cant believe its April ....I am so excited to see it finally come.....we are already planning what to bring and what we dont need to bring......(as if)...

I think that Marita and Moo should start a yard sale business and going into others garages and taking what they need.......

It does sound like you are going to break and enter garages for your own personal garage sale......but ...I meant you go and get other peoples "stuff" and then sell it for more.....I know you can do it....I KNOW...

Today is Saturday pm and the sun was out and the snow was falling off the roof and making Megara spazz out....I had to put a chair in front of the two doors so she wouldnt break the slats in the blinds.....on the back door she broke the bottom four so I taped them until I can get a new blind.....geesh.
and now the dear dog is doing some wicked bad gas near me ...actually she is sitting at my side.....and gassing me out......

We are going to see another house tomorrow at noon.....to see if we can figure out what to do with it....it is smaller then we wanted but heck we are old....maybe this is what we need.....three acres is good and two car garage....so we will see tomorrow....I dont know how I feel about it yet...

My husbands second cousin...well her husband died today in Massachusettes hospital... Weymouth ....I have to see when they are having the funeral as we have appointments with doctors this week and I am the only one for Ava this week......I dont know why these mothers dont get a back up sitter....I love her to pieces though.....

Hope everyone had a great Saturday. We did! I was supposed to go to a ladies tea fellowship at church, which I was really looking forward to...but those nasty storms this week brought AWESOME weather. So we went to the beach instead. It's Ethan's b-day today too. SO I did feel bad about leaving him for the tea. We spent about 5 hours at the beach, then we hit CVS and Publix on the way home to get half the grocery shopping done. Tomorrow is non food grocery shopping after church. lol

Goog one, Twink! Not sure what business I'd like to go into with Marita, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be garage sale-ing! My MIL was a pro at that, but it's not my cup of tea. She was a major pack rat as a result and there was a huge auction of all her Depression glassware and other tchotchkes after she passed away.

Sounds like a great day, MommyP! Still cold and yucky in my neck of the woods, but it's supposed to get into the 60s on Monday. Can't wait!

Is anyone watching the eagle cam at http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles? Some of my coworkers have been watching it lately. I checked it out this afternoon and saw that one of the three eggs had hatched this morning. Pretty cool to see . . .

Hi y'all!

Moo, we only got about 5 inches of snow in my area. Closer to Boston, they ended up with about 2-3 inches. Since it was nice-ish today (high 40's), a lot of the snow has already melted. Temps are supposed to reach the low 60's early in the week. Can't wait for that!

You Know it!! I could never be a salesperson, I'd feel miserably.

Bowling tournament from work tomorrow afternoon, Yikes! 3 hours even, I'll never last. And probably fall flat on my face or behind I might just sit out the games, my donation is already paid.

Has anyone been watching the eagle cam? Second eaglet hatched this morning. I've been watching off and on all day today. Pretty cool stuff seeing the little fluff balls and the feedings!

I stand corrected. My apologies. Apparently he did get married when you said. In all his interviews that I saw and on his website he gave the April date, and apparently they are having a religious ceremony that day so I guess I am still half right.

His now wife is a famous actress/model in Argentina where they got married and from what I have briefly gleaned from the interwebs they kept giving the April date to try and "fool" the papparazzi.


He is coming to Louisville in June. I am taking Julia. He can't handle the two of us I am sure. We have great seats. I think I might run up on stage or sumthn.

Thanks Pumba. She has been weaned off the ventilator and is stable. They are still monitoring her heart closely, but she is making steps in the right direction.

Just came back from seeing Hop with Hannah. What a cute movie. Loved all the music in it too. Russel Brand is the voice of the E.B and he had a Cameo in the movie too. Hannah only knows him as Katie Perry's husband. I want to see Arthur with him in it too. Looks funny. We laughed like crazy.

Marita - Did you make it to your bowling tournament?

I did. BUT!!!!!!! That place was HECK to find. I drove around for 30 minutes. Finally called the bowling alley for direction, it's tuck BEHIND the road off a small side street Anyway, by the time I got there I was not in the mood to bowl and just had some pizza and beer, LOL.

I tried to find jeans in a bigger size this weekend but couldnt find any I wanted. I need to find some new tops too, I look like a stuffed sausage. I've never been this heavy in my LIFE, it sucks, nothing fits right anymore.

But did that keep me from getting fettucini alfredo today? NOOO! However, the chef didnt drain the noodles well, so I was miffed, so I will have leftover runny FA tomorrow too.
ANother forecast week, oh JOY!!!
