The weather man has been scaring us for days about the big snow storm coming. I was afraid to open my eyes this morning to see it. There was nothing. But now it has just started to lightly snow so so don't know how much we will get now....Other places around us have a snow day.

Girl Guide cookies came home with Hannah last night. And they have a camp of sorts on Friday night. Not much notice there. Wasn't ready for the cookies either though. It is a sleepover in with tents in a basement of a local church.

Moo-- did you watch Biggest Loser? I was surprised that Jillian didn't push more for Arthur. I'm sure Bob would have. She even said it is better game play to bring the other one back. Thought she hated game play. :confused3 Did you notice they are not wearing the bugs this time on there arms? Not sure why Moses didn't lose more either.

Marita-- your outings always sound fun to me. Even room tours. And free lunch icing on the cake....

Is that a typo? Surely you mean Girl Scout Cookies. Right?

No she is a Girl Guide for the last year and a half. Before that she was a Brownie. She wasn't a Spark which is the first one. Pathfinders comes after Guides. Are you glad you asked. :lmao:

The scouts , girls included sell popcorn.

$4.00 for a pop? Outrageous.

Always nice to know you lurk, B! Gives me a comforting feeling :rolleyes1

Nab, hope the weather doesnt turn on you. I left the baseball game about 15 mins after it started today and went back to the office LOL. Too dang HOT! About the most confusing unorganized lunch line I ever saw in my life today. Can't believe Disney put this on!
They had this long narrow tent set up with no signage and stand up tables ssnet up in the middle of the food lines. You couldnt see what was where! Sliders here, hot dogs there, cookies over yonder, but you couldnt see anything with all the people. If this hadn't been a Disney set-up, I would have said Disney would never mess up this bad. But it was, so lesson learned....... I passed on the free drinks (dont drink soda anyway), snacks and icecream and made the long way back to my car to escape the comfort of my a/c office. But I did leave at 4, since the Health and Wellness team sponsored the event to get some R&R for overall well-being........

It's officially March 24, so . . .

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NABBIE!!!

This week's Biggest Loser was kind of shocking, but I thought they brought back the right person. I don't think Bob and Jillian figured they could push for Arthur due to all his game playing :( Hope he is doing well at home though. I didn't notice they weren't wearing the Bugs - maybe they're not a sponsor any more? Hmmm. But I did notice that they switched to the sleeveless shirts for the men and tank tops for the women on this episode.

Marita - Sorry your lunch and outing were a bust. But at least you got out early! Please send some of that warm weather north :) It was a very slippery drive home tonight due to the freezing drizzle. I'm getting SO tired of winter.

WT - We haven't gotten any Girl Scout cookie deliveries yet, thank goodness because they're so hard to resist! But they're arriving soon. $3.50 a box in my neck of the woods.

Well Marita. If it gives you any more comfort, I post nearly every time I log in here. I have started checking in here more often for some unknown reason. But, I can POOF again if it makes you uncomfortable. I am all about making people comfortable.

Thanks Moo!! Love the cupcakes.

Nice way to start my day! Today I turned 48 I remember it felt like forever to turn 18. :lmao:

The sun is shining but it is -16 out there what the heck. But I shouldn't complain because my mom got a foot of snow yesterday and we only got a dusting, can still see the grass.

We celebrated last night since Hubby has to work all day and the kids have stuff tonight. Went out to dinner and they bought me a beautiful cake. First time I think. They made me stay in the family room when we got home and they had balloons all over my bedroom. Hannah painted a a picture of her and I that I am going to frame because I love it so much. Nicholas got me candy. And Hubby bought me a new laptop! That was a surprise. Mine has been acting up lately too.

Marita - Complaining because for your job you get to go watch the Braves play? :upsidedow So lucky! Of course I know you hate the heat(why do you live in Florida? ;) ). The Twins and Red Socks have spring training here. But we have never been to a game. :headache:

Moo - $3.50? That's a steal, I might actually get a couple at that price. Thankfully they are outrageously expensive here, so I am not even tempted by them.

44 days until we leave for Disney! So excited!! Touringplans has the crowd levels really low for our trip. So I am SUPER excited about that. We normally go over a weekend, so you know how weekend crowds are. This time all but one day of our touring is during the week.

Happy Birthday, NAB :cheer2:
Sorry I'm a little late, but glad you had a nice day yesterday. Minus 16, really??? Celsius I assume, but still!!! That's dang COLD!

Not at all uncomfortable with your visits, I said so, love it. I always get a kick and warm fuzzies from them

Sorry, I would have gladly given you my one and only ticket, but there may have been suspicious faces, I suppose. I live in Florida because that's where hubby is from and we lived here all our lives, one of those things. I think South Carolina might be nice??? Anyway, here wer are and not likely to leave. By contrast, the birthday lunch I went to today was outdoors, but in the shade, it made a world of difference, that was a great temp. But no fun in full sun.

Make sure to check out the new HM que line, part of the new billion dollar initiative to make waiting in line entertaining. Some people even say that some may want to go to an attraction just for the waiting line.

But, I can POOF again
:wizard: now there is a tag waiting to happen

1. that was a good one B
2. $4 here, I quit buying them when they hit $4 and reduced the package size... now they really are a single serving per box  but Thin Mints are sooo good

:banana:Happy Belated Birthday Nab!!

Our girl scout cookies are $3.50 a box. I bought 2 boxes. I brought them home fully expecting to at least get one cookie. I did laundry, made supper, drove people to practice, helped with homework, and when I finally had a moment to think "I think I will have myself a thin mint".......THEY WERE GONE. BOTH BOXES!!!!!

I said "Family what happened to the cookies?!?!"

They said "They were good. Thanks!":headache:

Marita: I am jealous of your baseball outing!

BDg: I thought you gave up lurking for lent. I mean Lynt. I mean aren't you too busy defending your crimina, errr, ummm clients to lurk?

Twinkie: Are you secretly the tag fairy? Besides do tag fairies visit "clique threads"? Besides doesn't B already have THREE tags? As do YOU? I only have TWO. Do the math.;)

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Funny how the price is not the same across the board on price of cookies. I would not like to have all those quarters to carry around to make change. They should be $3.00. We only do the vanilla/chocolate ones in the spring and the mint ones in the fall.

If the weather was spring like I might consider starting my spring cleaning but since it is now it sounds like a good excuse not too. :lmao:

Okey this is it.
WHERE ARE MY POSTS>.........who poofed them out ....I hate this site sometimes.......I didnt saw any dirty words, or talk about religion or politics.....so where are my posts.....you missed my whole day yesterday..

Happy Belated Birthday ..

Last night we went to see a flip house.....the place would of been the house of our dreams BUT.......big big wet cellar......they also didnt do a good job painting.....but it was big living room, doors to a big deck and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.....but a flooded cellar already.....good thing we are looking for a house this spring.cause we have had snow and rain like crazy....so all cellars will be up for inspection..

Hope that you all are having a GREAT FRIDAY......I love Fridays......we are going on a road trip on Sunday to CT. My last living Aunt is going to be 90 and they are having a party for her......so we will leave early to make sure we get there for 1 pm.......and on a sunday to boot......ROLLING EYES HERE.....wish they had done it on a Saturday instead........

See you all later gators....

1. That is totally your fault. You should have consumed one whole box on your way home.

2. Uh try to keep up here bbn. Lurking is when you read and don't post. Our deer friends MO is to post and not read.

Wha-at? limited cookie choices???? I thought Girl Guides were just Canadian Girl Scouts but limiting cookie choices is just UN-AMERICAN!;)

Where is everyone? Am I the only one sitting at home on the computer on the weekend? ;)

Actually we were gone from 9:45 this am until about 4:00ish. We had the annual Spring Festival Parade, which totally sucks, but it's tradition to sit on the side of the main road in town in the blazing sun while candy, flyers and spices(seriously) are thrown at you. The a friend of the boys had a bday party at 2. So now I'm unwinding while the big boys are out doing their chicken chores, Chad is at the store, Isaac is killing brain cells in front of the tube and Ellie is nursing. She has been awake ALL day. So I foresee bedtime in about an hour. :)

I'm here too, MP! Lovely, lazy day of sleeping in late, reading, and playing on my laptop. Nothing too exciting.

Just contemplating whether/where to go out for dinner now that my hubby's home from running the roads with his dad.

Hi Moovers!

NAB, I wished you happy b-day over thar, but didn't get to pop in here and say it, so happy belated birthday!

BBN, I say that limiting one's Girl Scout cookie choices may be an infringement of one's civil rights. If only we knew a good lawyer who could advise us on that matter.......:rolleyes1

In this neck of the woods, Girl Scout cookies are $4 per box. I see this as an intake control. They're so darn spendy that I force myself NOT to snarf up an entire box at once. Most of the time. ;)

BDG, things must be s-l-o-w in the parking lot/law office if you're popping in here more. Got any witty banter to contribute? popcorn::

Today was Natasha's 10th birthday. :scared1: TEN! How the heck did THAT happen? We hosted a sleepover for 4 of her friends last night. At her request, I made her a giant double-chocolate birthday cookie. We also did make-your-own-sundaes to kick off the party last night, followed by rousing games of Hullabaloo and Disney Scene It, followed by manicures and silly picture-taking. They finally collapsed in a giggly heap around 1am, only to wake before 7. She declared it her best birthday party EVER. :goodvibes We'll wrap up the weekend with her favorite dinner and the cake she loves. *sigh* Where did my baby go??
