today is my lazy day.....I was so tired yesterday ..last night went to bed
early and slept until seven thirty this morning.....no Ava today...BUT I woke up in the middle of the night and omg I had a horrible dream......not a monster type dream but one that was horrible.....cant even discuss it that is how horrible it was.....scared me ..

waiting for my niece to bring me my GS cookies......they just came back from Disney last Friday and they had a great time..

I called my husband up and YELLED OMG THE TAXES ARE DUE TODAY.....hahaha.......We usually pay them the week before they are due but heck to much going on in our brains to remember ...so he will come home and then take the check and paperwork and city hall here he comes...I am passionate about paying bills on time or before time.....I dont like leftover bills..

I may clean out some drawers today and get rid of "training bras" as husband calls anything that I havent worn in the last year.GET RID OF ....give to GOOD WILL or Salvation Army....so off I go and do my thing....I would rather play with my new book looker......

I checked it out. It's totally lame. I think it's just a bunch of people who've been banned. I don't plan on ever being banned. I quite like the DIS and I play by the rules.

I don't know why just because you are an adult no one ever gets you a cake anymore.

I lost my auction. In the last 3 seconds(seriously) someone outbid me by 5 bucks. I didn't have time to counter since it was the last 3 seconds(seriously). So that totally sucks. So I'm bidding on one right now that is $399. Not bad, but this seller ads taxes to the final bid amount. Which sucks, but still super cheap for a 7 night stay. We shall see, there are like 5 hours left.

Got outbid again. Not going to bid any higher because there is a Buy It Now auction a few dollars less than winning the other at a higher bid. Just a week later. The thing that sucks is I've been watching this auction for a week. Last week I watched it end with no one bidding. So now that it was going to end(today) again and no one had bid I figured for sure I would get it. I put my max bid at $450(started at $399) and right off someone came in and outbid me. They only had 20 feedback. That seems awful fishy to me. I think it's the seller trying to raise the price. Well I'm not buying. I'll be curious if tomorrow it's relisted.

The preschool group at church is trying to rope me in already! Last year I took two days off from work to help out - but I don't think I will this time. I'm taking an entire week off at the beginning of June to work at our company's Kidney camp for kids - two vacations to work is a bit much!
I'm very lucky, however. my boss is letting me only use 20 hours of vacation time since I'll be working my butt off for a company sponsored event.
She's also letting me work on my service project during normal work hours.

I'm pretty lucky.
(Plus I love my job! )

Hey MommyP, sorry about your auctions! That's called sniping, btw. And it's actually a good way to win an auction without having to bid multiple times, which drives the price up. I hate when it happens to me, but it can really work in your favor if you're the one sniping.

morning everyone..
Last night about six thirty, our granddaughter called ...crying...sobbing so hard I couldnt get a word out of her........Finally I said Katie did you have a car accident and she said no, but the car was hit quite badly in the grocery parking lot....so I gathered my wits and said......Okey KT ..you are okey, but the car was hit......its okey we have insurance.....YOU are insured and all is okey....so dont worry......THEN she says when she calmed down some more.....she came out of the store and there was a cop and a man.....THE man actually called the police and reported it.....I am so impressed that there is an honest man someplace else......I know we would do it but would others......SO today she is doing her Orientation at a hospital pharmacy and then her physical and then drug testing and then she will go and get an estimate......This guy had his snowmobile on the back of his truck and couldnt see the little corolla......

So another day and another Ava with me.....yesterday I got alot done.....mostly drawers and check receipts...we will shred those on shred day....Hubby usually does that on Sunday morning when I am sleeping....YAH he is a good guy to shred....hahaha

36 chicks arrived today. The post office started calling me at 6am. I missed the first couple calls, took the one at 8:15ish. I told him I would be there asap. Did he bother telling me that the post office didn't actually open until 9? Nope. They were frantically calling me to come get my chicks for hours and yet I got there and they weren't even open yet.

And I did a buy it now and got a spot secured in May. I am happy to be spending Mother's Day there, so that I am not forced to spend my Mother's day at my Mothers....is that bad? It's not like she has any kids to take care of anymore so isn't every day Mother's Day?

Pumba- so glad your granddaughter is ok. There was a bad car wreck right outside my neighborhood today. My son was going to have the car this afternoon but at the last minute decided he would rather not be at his dad's beck and call. I was so thankful he wasn't out driving. It is so scary.

MommyP- glad you got your place. Mother's day sounds perfect. I want to hear all about it. I don't know if staying off site would work for us but I am willing to have an open mind.



There was cake that I didn't make in fact I think I shall go have a slice now

Twinkie - Offsite would work if you drive or rent a van. You would probably still save a crapload of money if you eat most everything at the condo and bring sandwiches.

I plan on getting things to make good sandwiches or wraps so we don't miss eating in the parks. It's so much less stressful if we just park it on a bench and eat, rather than balancing trays of food, trying to find a table, maneuvering 6 kids in places designed for 2. Plus that park food makes me sick and no one likes to spend vacation hopped up on immodium. I paid $499 for seven nights at bonnet creek. That's less than a value with an AP and the pools are super WAY better at bonnet creek. I am SO excited to stay there.
